Jisoo and Taehyung stood side by side as they held onto their bikes.

 

They went to the garden to have a small talk.. that garden in which Jisoo used to study and now has become Taehyung’s..

 

Most of the students have gone home and those who haven’t are already going away.. 

 

No one will see them inside the university anymore..

 

But wait.. they have been standing next to each other for at least 15 minutes yet no one has spoken yet..

 

Jisoo cleared .

It was Mr. 200 dollars who wanted to have a talk.. it was him who asked her to come with him..

Shouldn’t he say something first?

 

Taehyung glanced at her quickly.

Shouldn’t she explain herself first?

What was a senior student doing there at a hotel room that night?

Why was she doing that kind of job?

 

“Excuse me..”

 

And they both said it at the same time adding more embarrassment betweem them.

 

“You first..” said Taehyung.

 

Jisoo took a deep breath.

What should she say? That she’s glad to find him here? That it’s her pleasure to meet the guy she almost slept with? Here in the university as her professor?

 

“I’ll say something first then.. you haven’t seemed to have organized your thoughts yet..” said Taehyung looking at her sideways.

 

Jisoo turned to him a little.

 

“Was it for this?” asked Taehyung as he looked around.

 

Jisoo looked puzzled.

 

“W-what.. for this?

 

“That you decided to do that thing..” Taehyung continued. “It was to get into the university..”

 

Jisoo nodded.

 

“Well.. many things.. happened..” she said sighing. “Getting into the university was one of those many things..”

 

Taehyung became silent for a long time before asking..

 

“Did you.. stop doing that work already?”

 

Jisoo turned to him again.

Does he really think she has been doing that kind of work? Should she just tell him the truth?

 

“You.. didn’t?” asked Taehyung facing her.

 

Jisoo shook her head.

 

“No.. I mean.. I don’t.. I mean.. not anymore..” she said taken aback.

 

Why was she stuttering? Why does she feel so embarrassed?

 

Then she saw a little smile forming on his lips.

 

“That’s a relief..” said Taehyung facing her completely.

 

Jisoo was just staring at him.

What did he say? A relief? 

Why does he feel relieved? And wait.. was he curious about that all this time? Did he want to talk to her just because of that?

When it was him who didn’t even want to exchange names a month ago? And now it seems like he has been terribly curious of how she has been doing?

 

“Let us.. go.. you must want to go home already..” said Taehyung looking into her eyes.

 

Jisoo gulped.

Is this their first eye contact? She can’t remember if they did look at each other in the eye before..

Why are his eyes so pretty? He’s making her embarrassed..

 

Taehyung bowed his head a little as he pushed his bike to go away.

 

Jisoo went after him.

 

“About.. that night-..”

 

Taehyung stopped on his feet without turning back.

 

“We’ve talked about it already.. I think.. it must remain like that.. it isn’t convenient to either of us..”

 

Jisoo’s throat moved fast.

 

Well.. she wanted to tell him that nothing happened that night but it seems like he had already buried in his memory whatever happened to him a month ago.

 

Then.. fine.. she’ll let him think that they did it that night..

It’s the person who doesn’t know and can’t remember that will be more bothered anyway.. right?

 

The two of them decided to go their separate ways after that little talk.

 

Separate ways.. they should be going their own way.. they should be heading to different directions but.. why are they going towards the same neighborhood?

 

Jisoo was on Taehyung’s tail.

She’s too frustrated that she doesn’t want to go home.. if only she didn’t have a part time job that night.. she would go somewhere else first!

 

But it wasn’t only her who was feeling bothered..

 

Taehyung knew she was just behind him.. 

Was she following her? Does she want to know where he lives? Why is she going to the same direction?

 

He stopped the bike and turned his head back a little.

 

There were two little streets in front of him.

He noticed Jisoo has also stopped.

 

He was about to talk to her and ask her which direction she was going when he saw her leaving towards the street on the right.

 

He heaved a sigh of relief.

He thought she’d take the same street as him on the left!

He didn’t know they even live near each other.. how could this happen to them?

 

He went on his way and arrived shortly in front of the building where his apartment is located..

He moved in here just a week ago and he hasn’t organized the house yet.

He thought he’d be able to finish it right away but he was only able to decorate his living room.

 

He sighed.

Should he call someone for help? Maybe RM hyung? No.. he’s the messiest person he knows.. 

Jungkook? Hmm.. he will ask him to sleepover here instead if he tells him to come..

And Lisa doesn’t even know how to make up her own bed since she’s one rich woman..

 

Maybe he should just hire someone to clean up his apartment?

The landlady told him she knew an ahjumma who could help..

 

He sat on the couch as he stared at the picture frame in front of him.

 

“I’m home.. mom.. dad..” he said softly as he smiled a little. “Your son is home.. after his first day at work.. it was better than I had expected.. although.. there are some events that were surprising.. but still.. the first day was fine.. how about you? Are you doing well there? Are you looking at me.. from above?”

 

He sighed a little before he could continue.

 

“I miss you.. mom.. and dad..”

Jisoo took a deep breath as she went out of the place where she lives at.

 

Yesterday was just so tiring..

 

Apart from the fact the she had to work until midnight for her part time job but.. Mr. 200 dollars.. ohh maybe she should start calling him as Professor Kim.. anyway.. because of him.. she had to take a different route when her house was just a few blocks away!

 

Why did he have to live in the same neighborhood?

Does she need to take a detour everyday just so she could avoid him?

 

Now she’s afraid to bump into him the first thing in the morning!

What if she finds him on the street to go to the university?

That’ll be awkward again!

 

She was sighing as she pushed her bike towards the exit of the building when she noticed a familiar looking bike.

 

A brand new black bike?

It looks oddly familiar but she is sure not to have seen it there until yesterday..

Why is there a bike here? Who owns it? Is it expensive?

 

She was about to look closer when she saw the door opening just in front of her..

And to her biggest surprise, her neighbor.. is none other than the man she wants to avoid the most..

 

Mr. 200 dollars was standing in front of her.. 

 

Taehyung was also shocked to see her.

 

“What are you-..?” he asked baffled.

 

Did she really try to find out where he lives? How could she come here?

 

But before he jumped into conclusions, he noticed she was holding onto some keys..

 

Could it be.. that she also.. lives in the same building?

 

Jisoo nodded her head.

 

“I have been staying on the attic for 4 years..” she said softly as she held onto her beloved Turtle Rabbit.

 

No one will believe this is just a coincidence..

Did he.. perhaps.. stalk her?

Is that why he said it was a relief that she didn’t do that job anymore?

Oh wait.. maybe he even tried to find her and chose to teach at the university she’s attending?

 

But then seeing how shocked he looks right now..

Looking at those beautiful eyes that widened upon seeing her in front of him..

 

It must only be a pure coincidence..

 

 

“You should go first..” said Jisoo giving way to him.

 

Taehyung held onto his bike tight.

What kind of situation is this? Why are they always bumping onto each other when they promised not to meet again?

 

“No.. the woman should go first..” he said pulling back his bike.

 

Jisoo bit her lower lip.

 

“No.. the professor should go first..” she said lowering her gaze.

 

Taehyung looked at her.

Why does she seem so different from the first time he met her?

She was pretty aggressive back then.. she said things that shouldn’t be heard specially from a woman.. she was direct and sure of herself.. but seeing her like this right now.. she suddenly looks so demure..

 

Maybe because she had make up on a month ago and right now she didn’t put anything on but just a hint of lipgloss on her lips?

She looks innocent and pure that no one would think she ever did that kind of thing..

 

Wait.. he said it himself not to talk about it anymore then why is he thinking about that?

 

“I’ll go then..” he said walking past her as fast as he could.

 

It’s better if he leaves now before he could think of anything else.

 

Just a few minutes later, he arrived in front of the university and another surprise was awaiting him.

 

“Hyung!” Jungkook called him loudly as he ran to him.

 

Lisa shook her head as she followed.

 

“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in your own class now?” asked Taehyung confused.

 

Their university is on the other side of Seoul.

What are these two doing here?

 

“Our class starts in the afternoon today..” said Lisa. “Our history professor hasn’t come back from his holidays..”

 

“Wanna teach in our university for the meantime?” asked Jungkook smiling. 

 

Taehyung laughed.

 

“I wish I could but I have only started here yesterday..” he said shaking his head. “So.. what will you do now?”

 

Lisa leaned herself a little towards him.

 

“RM oppa said there are lots of pretty girls here so Jungkook wanted to come at all cost..” she said whispering.

 

Another laugh came out of Taehyung’s mouth.

 

“We can stay here the whole morning, right?” said Jungkook looking around already.
