"What were you thinking unnie!?” Rosé yells at her bandmate.

The two just got back in their dorms, with Rosé slamming the door due to shock and anger, and with Jennie feeling nothing but remorse. 

“I—“

Jisoo then, came out of her room upon hearing the slamming and the yelling. “Oh. you guys are back.”

Rosé did not mind the former, she was too busy staring down at Jennie. She only snapped out of it when it was Lisa’s turn to come out of her room. “Unnie? Rosie? What’s going on?” Lisa asked sleepily while rubbing her eyes, one of her cats tailing her.

Jennie was torn where to look, so she ended up looking down. She began to explain, “Jongin and I met...We— we kissed.”

This information snapped Jisoo and Lisa awake. Their eyes were bulging out, but they forced themselves to calm down. They figured that Rosé was too angry, and it wouldn’t help if they were too. Plus, Jennie was anxious and they needed her to calm down.

It was silent in the living room and only heavy breathing was heard. Jisoo chose her next words carefully. “Did....did anyone see?” 

“No. I don’t think so.” Rosé answered, “I mean— I hope so. It was too dark.” she corrected herself.

Jisoo nodded. Then, she shifted her attention to Jennie this time and asked, “Jennie, why—“

“I don’t know okay!!!” Jennie snapped. “I didn’t know.....I’m sorry.” With the outburst, she started crying.

Rosé immediately felt a huge pang of guilt upon seeing her bandmate cry. She never meant for it to be like this. She never wanted Jennie to cry.

However, this situation was all too familiar, and they’ve been here before. They’ve had this confrontation when Jennie was first caught with Kai.

She knew it was harsh, but she needed Jennie to understand.

“Unnie.” Rosé called out, gentler this time, “I’m sorry okay? But you need to understand that what you both did back there—“ she pointd at the door, “was such a huge risk that you took. We were forgiven last time, but we may not be the second time. I know you have strong feelings for him and there’s nothing wrong that. I just wanted you to be extra careful.” she ends her explanation.

However, Jennie began to shake her head, disagreeing.

“No....no you don’t understand! None of you understands!” Jennie yelled, looking at them in the eyes, hoping to get her message across. “I am different I— I forget who I am around him. I’m not Jennie the idol that everyone knows.” she sniffled, “I am Jennie Kim, a normal person...”

The other three, although stunned that this was how their member felt, patiently waited for her to finish.
