Dilemma
Rumor Has It (Rosé x Suzy)“Hmm..” Rosé grimaced after tasting the soup that she’s currently making with Jennie in the kitchen, “It needs more salt.”
Jennie let out a heavy sigh and propped herself up on the kitchen counter with a grunt, seemingly giving up. They’ve been trying to cook dinner for about an hour now. They decided to do so because the two of them have been watching way too many cooking shows on netflix recently and got inspired to cook themselves. Plus, they’re bored. Jisoo and Lisa are overseas for a schedule and they’ll be there for a few days, so Jennie and Rosé had the apartment to themselves.
The brunette stared at the blonde, looking down at her from the counter and answered, “I don’t know, I give up. Let’s just order takeout.”
“Again? Wasn’t cooking your idea?”
Jennie playfully rolled her eyes then smiled fondly, “Rosie, you know you hate doing this too.”
The blonde tapped the spatula she's holding to the pan to remove any excess soup from it. “You’re right, cooking only looked fun on tv but when you actually do it, it .” Rosé replied, smiling bitterly while starting to clean after their mess in the kitchen.
Jennie was supposed to help, but she ended up watching Rosé intently and didn’t say anything else. She figured she’s doing that a lot lately.
Looking back, she wondered as to why Rosé abruptly went out the other day, only to come back immediately after. The brunette figured it was an emergency, but when she asked about it to the blonde, she was only met with a fake smile and some lame “It was nothing, unnie. Just forgot something, that’s all.” excuse.
The rapper knew better than to believe their main vocalist. For God’s sake, they are friends for years, Rosé couldn’t fool her with that, but then again, she doesn’t mind if the blonde wouldn’t open up. Maybe Chaeyoung isn’t ready, and Jennie wasn’t gonna force her.
Besides, she had other concerns to worry about, like her relationship and herself for that matter. First of all, what the hell is she going to do with Jongin? She’s been ghosting him again for four days now. Jennie isn’t even bothered to give him an excuse, she just doesn’t feel like talking to him— ever.
She doesn't see that happening anytime soon. Definitely not, when a certain oblivious blonde who’s now humming a random tune while cleaning up after their kitchen is looking so charming, and soft, and perfect at the moment, it almost makes Jennie want to go over and hug her, better yet— kiss her for that matter and never let go.
Oh God.
Oh God.
The thought of kissing Rosé made her red all of a sudden.
Where did that come from!?
What in the world is she thinking?
You see, this is the problem. Perhaps she’s guilty, but do you expect her to talk and act normally to Jongin after her thoughts about her fellow member? No. Never.
She knew she had to deal with him at some point but today’s just not that day. She doesn’t have the courage yet. She needed to figure out with herself first. Is she gay? She has never thought of women like that before. Is she only gay for Chaeyoung? There’s got to be no such thing as being gay for one person… is there? Plus, she’s always been the type to find girls pretty but that doesn’t mean she wanted to date them.
What’s the deal with her then?
She knew this all started when she saw Suzy and Rosé in the hallway a few months ago. She didn’t like how close they are to each other, and seeing them like that, all the alarms in her head just went off. She didn’t even know
