You know that feeling when you know you're witnessing something that is about to go horribly wrong? When you know you should make some attempt to prevent the incoming disaster, but every bone in your body is refusing to move?

This is how Naeun feels as she's dragged across the field to meet Hayoung and Joy.

The couple is laughing together as they enjoy snowcones, a sight that only makes Naeun even less willing to come clean at that very moment. She feels a twinge of guilt about interrupting them, especially because it was something that could just as easily be solved over text. However, as true as that is, she knows she'd only keep making excuses if left to resolve this on her own. Taking care of Hyewon should be her primary focus, which meant not dumping her responsibilities on Chorong to avoid conflict.

Granted, this "conflict" exists because somebody took a child's innocent words too seriously. Naeun reminds herself in annoyance.
