Taeyeon sat there blankly absorbing Jessica’s confession. She didn’t know what to do really. She felt stupid for thinking so lowly of Jessica’s feelings and at the same time, her heart was beating so fast with the sudden confession. Was she really this self-absorbed to not notice?

Jessica sighed and got up, “I am going home. Thanks for taking care of me last night.”

Seeing Jessica turning to leave, made Taeyeon panic so she quickly reached out, “Wait! You can’t just say all that stuff and leave?”

Jessica felt defeated, she was tired and let everything out in one go, “It looked like you needed some time to think about it.”

Taeyeon shook her head, “No...well that was very sudden and to be honest I never knew you thought of that way about me before.”

Jessica let out a satirical laugh, “Trust me, when we became roommates, I didn’t think I would fall for you that hard until you just left. After that, my heart shattered and it was then that I realized how much I really loved you.”

Taeyeon leaned in and embraced Jessica in her arms. She knew she hurt Jessica in the past and recently, she intentionally sought to destroy Jessica's dreams, “I don’t even know how you can love someone like me.”

Jessica knew why, “It is because you are Kim Taeyeon.”
