MILDANG: A DecadeThey both got caught up in a flurry of promotions and tours that it was hard keeping tabs on where each other was. Not that they were asking or keeping each other on the loop. It wasn’t that kind of relationship, Seohyun thought. At least, not yet.
But she was always wondering. Was he back in Seoul yet? She could search the internet but it seemed too impersonal and it painfully reminded her of that time he didn’t contact her for a month. She could ask people but even that was another painful memory. His jealousy over Jinwoon knowing more about their whereabouts than they themselves. It’s a complicated web of wondering but it seems either one of them wants to fix it. Or that they both do, but they just kept on waiting on each other to make a move like they’ve always done.
Must they be this complicated? Seohyun thought once more. She knew what was needed to uncomplicate things a bit less, but she was too cautious of so many things, of possible consequences. It was going to be hard either way.
That was her state for months and months after their stint on the show ended. People around her would volunteer information, but it was still different from when they could just freely keep tabs on each other.
Until one day she opened her door and found a paper bag hanging on it. She carefully picked it up knowing that it can be from someone she knew or from a crazed fan. She took the risk and peeked inside. “Looks innocent enough
