"Hey son, come in!" Mr. Im beamed the moment he saw who's at the door.

Jiyong was welcomed in and Mr. Im shouted into the living room, "Yoona ah! Look who's here and can you stop eating so much?!"

"Appa! Just let me eat! I don't care!" Came the reply.

"Yah you brat," Mr. Im gave Jiyong a stern look. "You better pacify her for god's sake. She's literally ALWAYS lazing around at home now if there's no schedule."

"Yes sir~" Jiyong laughed before giving a polite bow. "Uncle Im, I'm sorry. I... I should have came earlier but... I don't think she's ready to see me here."

"I understand kid," Mr. Im patted his back and they made their way into the living room. "I know how stubborn this daughter of mine can be. I just need you to be more careful next time. Araso?"

"Neh~"

"Ishhh. What are you doing here?" Yoona turned her head and saw her fiancé flashing his famous boyish grin.

"Look what I've brought you?" Jiyong extended his arm, offering the bouquet of fried chicken.

"Not flowers?" Yoona was clearly elated over this novel idea of bouquet but she was not going to let him get away that easily. "I prefer flowers."

"Ayeee. Don't lie. I saw that glint just now in your eyes, Im~" Jiyong sat himself beside her, ignoring her whines. "What are you looking at?"

The big news title splashed across the screen while Yoona took out a drumstick from the bouquet, giving it a bite, "here's what I'm watching."

The grin from Jiyong's face disappeared immediately.

"You're upset because you saw this news?"

"Can't believe he get over me so fast," Yoona pouted. "It must be because I don't play golf."

"Woman, you guys parted ways in 2015," Jiyong rolled his eyes. "Also, it states here that they've only been seeing each other for around half a year. The last I checked, we've been enaged for around half a year and have been dating for slightly over a year?"

"Still! I thought Seunggi oppa is a devoted man. Like he'd never move on kind of thing~"

"I think he has a drop of taste ever since he broke up with you. Look at this woman," Jiyong snorted. "Not that I care anyway. It's because you guys broke up that I got to have such a wonderful girlfriend, fiancée and future wife. It works in my favour so I'm all for this relationship. Even better if they get married earlier."

Yoona's ego was totally with his remark. To be honest, she was happy for Seunggi. They didn't end in an ugly note, so now that she had gotten her happiness, she was elated to see him getting his too. She didn't know the girl personally but she seemed nice. It was all good, until people started bombarding her Instagram, leaving her with comments, disturbing her. In fact, she didn't even know about the news until she saw the comments on Instagram and went to look at the news. So, she felt a little hurt that Seunggi didn't inform her, though they were still friends.

Then came this silly guy who always knows how to make her feel better. 

"What brings you here? I thought I said we needed time?" Like Mr. Im had said, this daughter of his is stubborn.

"Well, I've given you time. Two months actually." Luckily, Jiyong knew the way to curb this girl.

"This two months? You're a scammer!" Yoona grunted. "You texted me everyday, sent me video messages and you kept dropping by Daesung oppa's house every now and then, so much so that he got angsty and threw me out. How's that giving me time?"

"We're not broken up, I need to know how my fiancée is doing. Dae is just being too private, you can't blame me," Jiyong reasoned. "At least I didn't come knocking on your door nor see you physically? I think I deserve some treats."

Before Yoona could reply, Mr. Im had stepped in, "Yah Im Yoona. Cut Jiyong some slack already. Poor kid, it's not even a rumor he created! Dispatch just love to harp on him! You look at this news. Those photos are so obvious! His photos? Him riding a bike alone. This is ridiculous. Also, he's already being such a nice boyfriend. Which boyfriend on earth would allow you to stay with other guys!"

Yoona could only roll her eyes while Jiyong continued to feign innocent face. As always, Jiyong have a good image set up in front of her father and sister. Even the dating rumors didn't affect their love for him as they supported him unconditionally. Letting her stay in other guy's house? Come on, she definitely heard her threatening Daesung the other time when he went over! 

"I should have gone to stay with Aunty Kwon or Dami unnie instead," Yoona complained. "Appa you're bias. Totally bias!"

"Well, if it makes you happy, umma AND noona are not letting me into their house until they see me coming with you," Jiyong chuckled at her expression. "Oh, that includes Dolce Vita."

Yoona couldn't help but break into a smile at the news.

"Happy now? Are you done playing my heart, Yoona-sshi?"

Jiyong already knew that her anger had long subsided. Just recently, she had went out with Rosé for a shopping therapy and the latter had put in so many good words for him.

"Count yourself lucky this time," Yoona scoffed. "If there's another dating rumor of you that breaks out, I'll slaughter you myself. Say goodbye to your almighty dragon~"

"Yah, language, Miss." Mr. Im furrowed his brows.

"Scary woman, but I love it~" Jiyong broke into peals of laughters as he pulled her into his arms, wrinkling his nose. "Though I have to ask, how long have you been in this pajamas already? When did you last change into normal clothes?"

"None of your business!"

Yoona elbowed him on the stomach before easing into his embrace, smiling away.

Mr. Im decided to leave the lovebirds alone, giving them some space. 

"Well, my informant told me that you had a nice time shopping and was even buying a gift for me. So where's it?" Jiyong extended his hand out. "Anyway, even if I don't know. I'll be here. It's your birthday. I HAVE to be present."

"Pftt. It's my birthday, no gift for you!" Yoona slapped his hand and stuck her tongue out. "This is why I can never make friends with ANYONE in YG. They're all just spying on me for you!"
