Chapter 1
Untitled, 1990It was a Saturday and it had been exactly a month since his discharge from the army. He had been lazing around for the entire day, not knowing where the time had gone. Unknowingly, it was already four in the afternoon. He was making himself comfortable on the couch, doing unproductive activities such as playing his switch, playing with his cat, tuning in to different channels on the television.
The activities above had been his daily schedule ever since a month ago. Any idea who is he?
He's the fashionista, the composer, the leader of BIGBANG, G-Dragon - Kwon Jiyong.
Just as he was about to get off the couch, heading back to his comfortable bed, his phone starting ringing.
"Hey, G-Boy!" Tiffany's voice rang loud and clear the moment he picked up the call. "Finally out?"
"G-Boy? Have some manners, Hwang Miyoung! I am your oppa!" Jiyong scowled, "I am already out of the army for almost a month and you're only calling now?!"
"I was busy!" Tiffany defended herself, "and I told you not to call me by my Korean name!"
"You started with the G-Boy calling first."
There went the childish fight between the two of them. Tiffany and Jiyong got to know each other through a party held by Seungri and from then on, probably due to their personality, they hit off pretty well.
"Well, I consider G-Boy as a pretty good nickname whereas someone in my group is still using formalities with you." Tiffany laughed at the thought of that. "I still can't believe that! Even Seo calls you oppa!"
Of course, Jiyong knew who Tiffany was referring to but made no effort in replying to that.
"Are we back to that topic again? I don't think you called all the way from LA to discuss about my nickname. " Jiyong rolled his eyes. "So, what's up? I bet it's either you need me to do something for you or it's a party invite."
"That topic will never get old! Awh, oppa. You know me too well!" Tiffany cheered. "I'm kinda glad that you know that I'm currently in LA and since you just got out of the army, I was planning to throw a party for my beloved oppa~"
"If you want to party just say it, no one will judge you."Jiyong teased, "You're so sure that I am free to attend?"
"Oh please, you're as free as a bird now! What could you be busy with other than the Nike Collaboration? If I remember clearly, the launch is on the following week, which means you still have plenty of time before that." Tiffany cooed, "I am sure you're doing nothing productive in your 9 billion worth apartment. Such a waste."
"Why does it feels like you know my schedule better than me, Tiffany-sshi?" Jiyong was pretty amazed. "Who am I expecting?"
"I am only planning to invite the BIGBANG oppas, Daesung and Seungri, along with the Soshi girls. I haven't seen the girls for the longest time!" Tiffany continued," I'm sure you have yet to meet up with the boys, so why not use this opportunity to do that?"
"I am curious where did you get all your information from, seriously."
"You don't have to know. All you need to do now is to book a flight to LA." Tiffany instructed, "I'm not sure about the girls' schedule but I'm 100% confident that Taeyeon is not coming, she needs to prepare for her concert."
"This better be worth my trip to LA."
"You can take it as a break!" Tiffany laughed. "Oh right, there's no need to book accommodations since you guys can stay at my place. It's nothing compared to your 9 billion apartment but I am positive that there will be enough rooms for everyone."
"You make it sound as if buying a 9 billion apartment is a crime," Jiyong suddenly thought of something and he asked, getting a little worried. "Yah, won't your Dad and Sister be at home? I hope history will not repeat itself."
There was once the boys were in LA for some event and decided to drop by Tiffany's place since she was back at home. It was a hell of disaster, with all five of them having a meal with her family and it got pretty awkward. Up till now, whenever Jiyong got reminded of that scene, he would shudder a little.
"Nah, they went overseas, I am all alone~" Tiffany groaned. "Stop worrying and being naggy like an old grandpa! I think it gotten worse after you're back from the army."
"Yah!"
"Whatever, I have said my piece and I'm hanging up, Bye!"
Tiffany hung up the call the moment she finished everything that she wanted to say, leaving Jiyong dumbfounded on the other side. It's been a month since Jiyong got discharged from the army. Fans around the world had been waiting for this for the past 2 years and Jiyong himself was anticipating this day more than anyone else. The first thing he did was obviously, to spend time with his family. They shared a great meal and a heartwarming catch-up session.
Jiyong thought it would be a good idea to reunite with the boys and the Soshi girls in LA. He knew that it would be near to impossible with the paparazzi in Korea. Whenever they gather in Korea, they would need to hide themselves really well and take the risk to be on the tabloid the next day.
Jiyong smirked to himself at the thought of the gathering but soon enough, the smirk turned into a slight frown. Would she be there as well?
It was not because Jiyong didn't want to see her; he was actually kind of curious about everyone's life ever since he got in the army. He felt as if he was detached from the world; all he did when he had the chance to book out was to catch up with his sleep, and the cycle repeated.
Seeing her once again after 2 years... The thought of it felt a little weird, yet a little exciting. He was unsure what exactly went wrong between the two of them and it was far off from the relationship he had with the other Soshi girls. Jiyong shook off the thoughts in his head and he was already keying in his details on the airline's website.
Here goes nothing!

"Yoona? Yoong? Can you hear me?" Tiffany frowned at the statics coming from the other side.
"Unnie?" Yoona walked out of the studio. "Can you hear me now?"
"Yeah! Yoong ah!" Tiffany shouted, "What are you d
