"You're really angry?" Jiyong asked.

"I just don't want to fight," Yoona sighed, prying herself away from his arms and laid down on the empty space beside him. "I'm tired..." 

Jiyong knew she's tired these days and of course he wouldn't want to pick up a fight with her too, after days of not seeing each other. However, he felt a little wronged. Sometimes, he felt like he's always the one giving in. She could be jealous and throw tantrums at him while he could only it up and be the magnanimous boyfriend thereafter, even though he's jealous and concerned about her being too close with other guys. When he tried to retaliate, this would happen. She never really tries to pacify him whenever he's upset. She'd do reverse psychology on him or wait for his anger to subside and eventually, he would be the first to talk to her again.

All of a sudden, he didn't want to give in anymore. 

"Sleep then," he too, laid down and had his back against her, switching off the bedside lamp. "Goodnight." 

Yoona couldn't believe it. For the first time ever, he's not going to coax her and seek for her forgiveness? Minutes later, she could hear light snores beside. She turned around and found Jiyong already soundly asleep. She sat up and pouted, feeling a little bullied. How could he do this? He always pacifies her no matter who's at fault! Why did he not do it this time? 

Was he already tired of her bossy antics?

Looking at his sleeping form, Yoona realised that he seemed to look tired out too. Come to think of it, she did receive complaints from Daesung that recently, Jiyong had been calling all of them back to the studio to work. With his upcoming release with Nike, why was he working on new music now? Did he hold her words close to his heart and was trying his best to fulfill her wish? Why did she still pick up unnecessary fights with him when they're not even seeing each other much these days? Absence is supposed to make the heart grow fonder, not to pull them apart. 

"I'm sorry..." Yoona gave a sigh as she leaned in to give a soft kiss on Jiyong's cheek. 

Jiyong stirred a little but did not wake up. Yoona gave a soft smile and closed her eyes again, falling asleep. She would apologise to him tomorrow and they'd make up. There should be nothing to worry about his ex-girlfriend. She's the one that he loves deeply now, past doesn't matter. Everyone has his past and she shouldn't be so unreasonable. It's time she gives in to him as well. 

After all, relationship is about giving and taking isn't it?

"KWON JIYONG YOU BIG FAT LIAR!" 

"W-Wae wae?!" 

Jiyong was startled awake and before sleep could clear off his system, cushions were being thrown at him. He was frantically trying to block himself from the blows but obviously, it was futile.

"You liar!" Yoona threw the last cushion she could get ahold of, at him and huffed. 

Jiyong was finally able to sit up, sleep long cleared from his system. He was about to shout in frustration but was met with an angry looking Yoona standing in front of him, with tears welling in her wide doe eye as she glared at him. 

"You liar..."

Yoona really had the intention to make up to him for her unreasonable behaviour last night. She even decided to wake up earlier than him, prepared a nice breakfast to atone for her mistake and to tell him how much she loves him. The plan was going great and she did whip up some of Jiyong's favourite dishes but things started crumbling when she was scrolling through her phone while waiting for him to wake up. 

Blame it on herself. Beside the fact that they attended the same event in China back in 2015, Yoona didn't know much about Kiko. She was curious about who this same-age woman was and how on earth did she managed to capture her boyfriend's heart for years. True enough, when she started searching for her, the recent popular articles were all about her and Harry Styles. The next in line was obviously, G-Dragon. She smirked, feeling slightly sorry for the woman. After all, she could tell that she's a rather capable model but yet, she was only known for being paired up with these popular guys. 

She told herself countless of times to not click into the article but she still did anyway. There, her face fell. Looking at all the photos, even if they're all backdated, her heart was broken. 

"You guys share so many matching tattoos!" Yoona boomed, throwing her phone at him. "Heart and smiley face... Daisy... Is that why your PEACEMINUSONE changed its logo to be daisy too?!" 

Jiyong took her phone and scanned through the article, his expression defeated. Okay, maybe he did tell a white lie. The smiley, as well as the heart, he got it together with Kiko towards the end of 2013. Technically, he didn't really lie because he did have it tattooed first before Kiko had her turn, but okay, he knew everyone would just roll their eyes at this lousy excuse. But honestly! Can someone help him out here? If he didn't recall wrongly, that was also around the period of time when he first heard rumors from insiders that Yoona and Lee Seunggi were dating. He thought since his hopeless crush was never going to happen, he figured out he should move on quick and since Kiko was the girlfriend back then, it was certainly easier to move on. 

"Is this why you wanted me to get matching tattoos with you back then in Jeju?" Yoona's voice faltered, feeling sadder and sadder. "Is it to carry on this fantasy of yours? This unfulfilled romance..." 

Jiyong was utterly defeated. Women's tears is known to be his weak link and Im Yoona's tears is his weakest. He sighed and stretched his arm out, pulling the crying Yoona into the bed and into his arms.

"I shouldn't have listened to you about trying floral tattoos," Yoona continued to sob as she hit his back. "I'm a replacement!" 

"Aigoo," Jiyong laughed as he broke apart, wiping her tears away. "That tattoo is just temporary though?" 

"Luckily it is," Yoona shot a glare at him, her nose red from the crying. "If not, I'll really be a replacement. I can't believe this. You treat me as her replacement and even Harry Styles is like that! He once said he had a crush on me!" 

Jiyong burst into chuckles at her ridiculous remark but shut up immediately after receiving her death glare. 

"Awww baby," Jiyong tucked her loose strands of hair behind her ears, pacifying, "more than anything, she's a replacement of you, not the other way round." 

Yoona looked at him with curiosity. 

"I don't need to speak for Harry Styles. You can continue to misunderstand or hate him," Jiyong continued to  her hair. "Do you remember I said I crushed on you ever since young?" 

Yoona nodded.

"Yes, but I eventually realised that it would never work out between us and I started going on on-off relationships."

"So, you fell in love with Kiko?" Yoona asked innocently

"It'd be a lie if I say I didn't," Jiyong gave a soft smile. "I did but more rather than love, I would say companionship. It's kind of nice to be with someone that shares similar taste and liking with you. When you got into a relationship with Lee Seunggi, she happened to be there and I thought, 'uhm. maybe I'll spend the rest of my life with this woman. It wouldn't kill.' I just didn't want to be lonely, so maybe that's why whenever she and I quarrelled or gave each other cold shoulders, I was rather cool with it. I didn't exactly feel the void."

"Why did you guys break up then...?"

"When you broke up, it finally dawned on me that all my relationships were never going to work out," Jiyong gave a helpless chuckle. "Even after breaking up with her, I had 1-2 more relationships but they never did last because subconsciously, I was comparing them with you. That's when I realised I'd to stop all these pretendence. I have to learn to love myself more, to present the best of me in front of you and well, here we are."

Yoona looked at him and found no sign of lies. He had always been so truthful and upfront to her so she could feel just how much this guy loves her. Everyone always thinks that Jiyong loves her more, even herself too, but she was beginning to realise that unknowingly, she couldn't imagine a life without him in it. 

"I'm sorry..." Yoona pouted and sighed. "I'd been throwing fits at you... You know, even till now, it still felt very surreal that the famous GD could carry a torch for me for such a long time and still loves me that much even after we got togeher. I... It makes me feel kinda insecure sometimes, fearing that all these is a dream and I'll eventually wake up to nothing."

"Woman, this worry is for me, not for you," Jiyong grinned and caressed her cheeks. "Kwon Jiyong will always love Im Yoona more. You can't take this title away from me." 

"I feel so silly every time we quarrel. Like we don't even have much time with each other, but yet I'm spending it on being angry with you," Yoona poured out her worry.
