"Baby, baby..." 

Jiyong came home to a sleeping Yoona on the couch. Naturally, an affectionate smile crept up his face as he knelt down beside her, showering her with kisses to wake her up.

"Oh, damn... I've fallen asleep?" Yoona stirred and woke up, stifling a yawn.

"I'm sorry. Today's progress was pretty good, so Teddy hyung and I got a little carried away," Jiyong continued to give her pecks on the cheeks. "You waited for very long?"

"An hour or so? Script reading ended early today. The director let everyone off slightly earlier, teasing Hyunbin oppa in the process, saying he would have a busy night," Yoona swatted his face away playfully, stretching herself. 

"Oh right. Happy Valentines baby~" Jiyong gave a boyish grin, pulling her towards him and planted a kiss on her lips. "Ahhh. Our first Valentine's Day~" 

"Right. I almost forgot about it," Yoona returned the kiss generously, chuckling. "Can't believe we're only celebrating our first Valentines!"

Things between them had been hell of a roller coaster ride. From disliking him to respecting him, from respect to admiration and well, admiration to love. Love to... Eternity. Things between them moved so fast that sometimes even as she thought back, she still couldn't quite believe it, but at the end of the day, she swore she wouldn't have it any other way. 

"Right, I've prepared a gift. Hold on," Jiyong went to the room and came out with a box. "Happy V Day~"

"Awww, thank you~" Yoona took hold of the box and opened it up, revealing Nike Air Force 1 Valentine's Day edition. "It's beautiful..."

"Why do I get the feeling that someone is not very happy with this gift," Jiyong raised his brows. 

"A-Ani! I-I'm happy!" Yoona stuttered miserably.

"Ayeee~ Quit lying," Jiyong nudged her elbows playfully. "Wae? Think that my effort is dropping rightttt~ Everyone is going to have this pair of shoes, so it's not unique for you anymore."

"Y-Yah!" Yoona slapped his arms hard. "You PRANKED me?!" 

"For that look on your face just now, this slap is totally worth it," Jiyong winced in pain before breaking into laughters. "I was just testing how much love and confidence my fianceé has of me." 

"So how's the result? Are you satisfied?" Yoona snorted. 

"More than satisfied," Jiyong laughed, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I know you must be thinking AND worrying that after you said 'yes' to my proposal, I'll become less attentive towards you." 

"But I was so confident in you that I made a bet with Hyorin unnie alrights. I told her you wouldn't treat me like your fans," Yoona pouted. "Thanks to you, this edition saw a surge in resale price again. Nike must have paid you loads to help them do advertisements." 

"Yes and no," Jiyong explained. "Yes, they paid me quite a fair sum but no, I didn't do that for the money. They gave me a pair but I bought another one just for you, so that we can have another couple item, even though you ain't going to wear it as usual~ Thought it'd look nice to be displayed on the shelf."

"Spendthrift," Yoona scoffed. 

"You complained so much, but where's my gift? Hey, at least I bought a pair of shoes~" 

"I did alright! Look!" Yoona pulled him out of the couch and into the kitchen. 

"Awww, rice cake!" Jiyong laughed, blowing air into her ears. "Are you trying to say that our chemistry is like rice cakeeeee~" 

"Cheesy much!" Yoona giggled as his breaths tickled her. "Yes yes! I'm referring you as my Bae Bae! Come on, try it!"

"They look too pretty to be eaten," they got themselves comfortable at the dining table. 

"I've made plenty. You can look at them while eating it too," Yoona smiled, feeding him. "How's it?" 

"Uhm... Sweet," Jiyong gave a blissful smile. "Everything made by you is delicious."

"Glib," Yoona scrunched her nose at him but was happy with his response nonetheless. "So, where's my REAL gift?"

"Hold on a second. Where's your ring?!" Jiyong noticed that her engagement ring was nowhere to be found on her finger and started panicking.

"O-Oops!" Yoona retracted her hand immediately, giving an embarrassed smile. 

"You've got some explanation to do here, Ms. Im~" Jiyong folded his arms across his chest, glaring at her. 

"Ahh...." Yoona let out a defeated sigh. "I'm sorry! But but... But I've to do filming! I can't be wearing such a huge and obvious ring on my finger at the set. Everyone will be judging me and those reporters that are there might catch me!"

"But it's after filming already!"

"Yes, but I came back and I needed to make the rice cake quickly before you come home and then while waiting for you, I got sleepy and fell asleep and before I could put the ring back on, you ca-" Yoona was babbling away, trying to explain herself.
