"Oppa!" BLACKPINK chimed.

"Hey~" Jiyong sauntered into the recording studio and slumped into the couch lazily.

"What's with the long face?" Teddy turned around and smirked. "Still getting ignored by your girlfriend?"

The young girls had their eyes wide in surprise at Teddy's revelation. 

"Tell me about it. Are girls all that good at playing this cold treatment game?" Jiyong complained. 

"I thought she's still talking to you?" 

"That's why I say she's good! She's still replying to my texts and calls, but they're all one-worded or phrases that have less than five words," Jiyong removed his hat and ruffled his hair confusedly. "She is not venting her anger on me but yet I can feel the anger radiating out of her every pore through the screen." 

"Wow, you even counted the number of words in her replies?" Teddy sniggered and shook his head. "What a changed man~ It's only been... 6 days? In the past, you and Kiko could go on days or weeks without speaking to each other and you didn't even utter any grumble." 

"Hyung~" Jiyong groaned. 

"Araso araso," Teddy laughed. "Well, what can you do? The bouquet was sent so timely, your so-called sister-in-law had openly read out the card, assuming it was from her, the content of the card had to be so misleading and lastly, she had to be there to witness this entire thing. Basically, the time, space and social conditions all didn't work in your favour. You're bound to go down in that war." 

"Even I thought the sender was her," Jiyong pouted. "Things would have been so simple and sweet if it's really her."

"It's not and it made matter worse that it had to be from your EX-girlfriend," Teddy chuckled. "You can film your own version of 'a series of unfortunate events'. I thought I can finally meet the goddess after so long, but thanks to you, I've to wait again." 

"Hyung, please. She and Yeseul noona are good friends, pretty sure you'd met her so many times back then when you and noona were still together," Jiyong said brutishly. "If you and noona didn't break up over some stupid reason, you probably would have seen her more often than I do." 

"Is this how you're going to speak to your hyung?" Teddy rolled his eyes and changed the topic. "I thought she'd been looking forward to BIGBANG's or your comeback? Even this can't entice her to come meet you? She must be really mad this time." 

"I know right?" Jiyong sighed. "I extended an open invite to her to come today, but she said she's not free. As far as I know, all she's doing nowadays are baking, lounging in her sofa to watch shows and bringing Rae-oh out for walks." 

"Guess you better let her cool down for a couple more days or think of an alternative plan quick," Teddy laughed heartlessly, patting his shoulders. 

That marked the end of the men's talk and they finally turned their attention to the group of four. BLACKPINK were giggling and whispering to each other and when they realised that the conversation had stopped and that the two seniors had their eyes on them, they stopped gossiping and smiled. 

"W-We're just talking about Jennie's 'Jentle Home'!" Jisoo, the quick-witted one, made up an excuse quickly. 

"Y-Yeahs!" The other chorused. 

Jiyong and Teddy exchanged looks, breaking into defeated chuckles. It's obvious that they had overheard their conversation and were discussing about Jiyong's mysterious girlfriend. 

"Oppa! How about you help me promote my 'Jentle Home'? I'm going to go on IG Live in a couple of minutes, unboxing it," Jennie suggested. 

Jiyong didn't see any harm in it. It's been awhile since he last updated the fans on his whereabouts too, so he agreed to Jennie's request. 

"Araso. Just for a minute yeah?"

"Yayyyyy!" 

That Instagram Live video turned out to be an uproar. Jiyong couldn't care less about what fans thought of, but amongst the countless messages on his Instagram and Twitter, he received a text message shortly after the live ended.

His eyes went wide in mortification and he buried his face into the cushion, letting out a guttural groan. 

"Yah, what's wrong with you again," Teddy asked curiously. 

Jiyong extended his phone to him, not bothering to look up. Teddy took the phone and read the message. 

Yoong: Nicely done. Looks like you still have the mood to dance 'Heartbreaker' and be cute on young girl's IG. 

"Tough luck buddy," instead of comforting his beloved junior of decades, Teddy poked fun of Jiyong more. "At least this is more than five words!" 

Jiyong stood up and grabbed his phone back from Teddy's hand, walking out of the studio.

"Yah! Where are you going?" 

"Home!" 

"What?!" Teddy scowled. "Yah, you promised you'll be featuring in the girls' album!" 

"I changed my mind. I don't have the mood now!" Jiyong huffed and walked off. 

"Kwon Jiyong!" 

Of course that didn't work and Teddy could only turn to the girls and shrugged his shoulders, "too bad. There's nothing I can do and nothing you all can do either. You girls can get ready to appease your fans for the delay in your album again~ Either that, we'll leave him out and feature other people first. This lovesick guy is untouchable now sadly."

The girls grimaced. 

"Oppa, is Jiyong oppa's gir-" Lisa spoke up bravely as Rosé nudged her. 

"Yes he has a girlfriend and no, I will not say who is she," Teddy interrupted immediately, knowing perfectly what she was planning to ask. "You all had the chance to meet her today initially, but your Jiyong oppa screwed it up, so too bad. Now, enough of playing. Time to go back to recording!" 

The four young girls whined but Teddy ignored completely, turning back to his recording equipment, his producer mode on.

What a commotion to kickstart the month of May~

Spring had finally arrived but Jiyong's suffering didn't seem to end. With the whole flower-giving-incident back during Daesung's birthday and the short appearance on Jennie's Instagram, Jiyong was in absolute trouble. Yoona continued her cold and cynical treatment and even though she claimed that she wasn't angry, Jiyong knew it was the exact opposite.

For one, Sunny's birthday celebration had been brought forward and he was not invited. Initially, it was decided that both Sunny and Youngbae to celebrate their birthdays together, but thanks to Jiyong, the girls claimed that they decided to use Sunny's birthday as a Soshi-exclusive event. The guys blamed it all on Jiyong and Seungri even used his rare phone call chance to call him from army, complaining that the only social event he had was gone thanks to his tactlessness. 

Not only Sunny's birthday got jeopardized, even poor Rae-oh missed his belly-rubs session. He had been throwing tantrums at Yoona, but of course his owner ignored him completely. There's no way she would bring him to Jiyong's house so he should it up and just be satisfied with her rubbing his belly. She was fine like that anyway; she had been resting at home, baking and feeding fans with her SNS update, completing the #ThankYouChallenge after being nominated by Yuri. 

Jiyong knew this girlfriend of his was sulking and after much thought, pleadings and naggings, he finally devised a plan to pacify his disgruntled and jealous girlfriend.

"Yoong~" Jiyong met his girlfriend at the door and called out, after not meeting her for around two weeks.

"Happy belated birthday oppa!" Yoona ignored him and when the door opened, she greeted with a huge grin. 

"Thank you!" Youngbae opened the door, a warm smile appearing on his face. "Got ready your entrance fee?" 

"Of course! Freshly baked chocolate cake!" Yoona showed him the paper bag she brought. 

"I can smell the chocolate from here!" Hyorin came from behind and pulled Yoona into the house. 

The two ladies left them at the door and Youngbae leaned against the doorframe, cocking his brows up and folded his arms across his chest, "your entrance fee?"

"It's thanks to me that you got to eat that chocolate cake," Jiyong answered. 

"It's also thanks to you that I ended up eating it belatedly," Youngbae rebutted, about to close the door. "No entrance fee? Then goodbye~" 

"Y-Yah yah!" Jiyong called out urgently, gritting his teeth. "What do you want this time?"

"Charlotte Perriand's Tripod Low Stool~" Youngbae whistled.

Jiyong was speechless. Since when did this good friend of his became like that? Wasn't him the certified angel? Did marriage ruin him?

"I already given one to TOP hyung! No more!" Jiyong pushed his way through by force. 

"Yah yah!" Youngbae shouted after him but the latter ignored completely, making his way towards the dining table.
