"Jiyong ah, are you sure you don't want to take a look at your phone?" Jieun sneered, "You might be in for some surprise?"

It was the end of the Nike live event and Jiyong got back backstage, sitting down at the same time letting out a sigh as his stylist removed his make-up.

"Eh?" Once Jiyong was back, he was lost in his thoughts once again. He arched his brows but nonetheless grabbed his phone that was on the table.

Missed call.

The notification popped up and Jiyong was even more puzzled when he saw it since he knew perfectly that Yoona wouldn't be making the first move to call him. 

"Yoong?" Taehyun lowered her voice, "Aren't you going to do some introduction? Or introduce her to your Jieun noona and me? Isn't it about time?"

"There's only one Yoong we know in this industry, is that really her? Stop teasing and tell us!" Jieun added.

"Aish, noona. I will bring her to you when the time is right." Jiyong wasn't in the mood to talk about all these, he shook his head and mumbled, "I don't even know if you are going to see us together..."

"Mwuh? What did you say?"

"N-Nothing." Jiyong stood up, bidding his goodbye, "Bye noona! I'd probably see you guys when my album comes out."

"And when is that going to happen!" Jiyong left casually, earning groans from both of them.

Jiyong walked out, dialing the number that he was familiar with, only to realize that the other party hung the call. What is going on? Before he could think of something else, his phone vibrated and a message came in from an unknown number. 

Unknown number: Hi Jiyong, it's Seo-ok here, I was the one who dialed your number with Yoong's phone when she wasn't looking. Anyway, I'm not here to explain, are you able to drop by SM now? She's having a meeting with the staff regarding her promotional matters and everyone around her can tell that she's not being herself. She almost hurt herself during the filming and scared the heck out of all of us. She wasn't focusing at all, don't talk about the amount of NGs she had. We thought we should drop you a text and hoping you can do something about this? We don't wish to see her getting injured for real. Do let me know if you are here, we'll find a way to shove her into your car.

Jiyong could only smile at the last sentence, half of him was worried when Seo-ok mentioned about Yoona almost getting hurt during filming, and half of him was still contemplating if he should head over. You know, the guy's pride and ego.

He couldn't help but let out a sigh, before walking to his car and head to SM. He got to put down his pride and ego if he wants to get right. He admitted that he was at fault for being too impulsive for bringing up the taboo of ending their relationship just like that, but of course, he believed that Yoona was at fault too.

Yoona was in the midst of meeting when Jiyong’s call came in. She was surprised but at the thought of that night a week ago, she immediately hit the red button before setting her phone aside, getting back to the discussion topic with the staff while her mind was somewhere else.

Yoona wasn’t sure. She wasn’t sure that the last sentence that Jiyong mentioned, was out of anger or it had been in his mind for quite some time before he burst it out that night. All in all, she was too afraid to hear him out and she had already thought of the worst-case scenario. She wasn’t ready for it, so she decided to be a coward once again by running away.

“Unnie, thanks for helping me to take care of Rae-oh for the time being,” Yoona carried Rae-oh back to her arms, “Appa went out and I felt bad for leaving him alone at home.”

“Anniya, no worries. Let me take a picture for you.” Seo-ok snapped a few shots before passing Yoona her phone, while she hung her arms around her, “But if you really want to thank me, you can do me a favor?”

“Sure, what is it?” Yoona agreed cooly, looking at the pictures.

“You can take a look at who’s here?” Seo-ok directed her attention to the car that was parked not far away from them, “Time to settle it Yoong. Look at you, you’ve been so restless ever since a week ago.”

Yoona looked over and saw the awfully familiar car that was parked. She started to panic a little after glancing at the car plate to confirm her suspicion. She knew she was not ready for this and was ready to run away before Seo-ok grabbed her arms.

“A-Anniya, unnie. I’ll do anything else but not this. I’m n-not ready.” Yoona chuckled nervously and turned to her manager “Oppa, you’re going to send me back right?”

Yoona showed her puppy eyes to her manager while Seo-ok was giving him a death stare behind Yoona, making sure she got her message across. 

“Yoon-“ Her manager cleared his throat and was ready to speak but was cut off by Yoona immediately.

“Oppa! You love to send me home right! I love to take your car too!  No one is taking away your job now! Right, you’re sending me back, end of the conversation.” Yoona got nervous and started blabbering.

Just as Yoona was walking away from the both of them, getting ready to head towards the manager’s van, Jiyong saw the scene from his car beforehand and knew he got to get off in order to bring her back.

Yoona quickened her steps but Jiyong was faster and caught her arm before she could take another step.

“Let me go!” Yoona tried to shrug off his grip but to no avail,
