After that small incident, Jiyong totally heaved a big sigh of relief. Yoona was no longer giving him a single word reply, instead, she was always the one who took the initiative to call him. Of course, Jiyong was more than happy to received it and was having the best moment of his time, until...

"Wait what?" Jiyong was initially not paying attention to Yoona and was happily lying on her lap, eyes glued to the television.

Until Yoona said something that caught his attention and turned to look at her immediately.

"You weren't listening at all until that last sentence right?" Yoona tapped his cheeks, "I was saying, I have a schedule tomorrow."

Both of them were chilling on the couch and this had been the norm since none of them had any schedule during this period.

"But tomorrow is your birthday!" Jiyong groaned, "I thought I told you to save tomorrow for me?"

"And I clearly told you that it is impossible?" Yoona rebutted, "You were the one that didn't listen."

"I was hoping you'd try to do something about it!"

"I-I can't do anything! This schedule was planned way in advance, I thought I would not have anything on my birthday other than having dinner with my family, that's why I agreed." Yoona coaxed, "Also, it's been a long time since I have gotten a schedule to interact with the fans, you know I miss them."

Yoona was trying her best to make Jiyong give in but there he was pouting his lips in dismay. Yoona took the chance to give him a peck in hope for him to agree to it. Well, it's not like she had a choice, she'd probably get slaughtered by SM if she were to back out.

"Come on, we can celebrate it after the live broadcast!" Yoona continued her 'tactics', "I have already celebrated with my family way in advance just for you."

Not only did Yoona celebrated in advance with her family, they even celebrated with Soshibang already and the reason Jiyong gave was that he wanted some time alone with her on the actual day. After all, it was their first time celebrating each other's birthday after a change of status.

"But by the time you finish the Vlive, it'll probably be way after dinner time." Jiyong still wasn't very happy with the idea of letting Yoona go for a schedule on her birthday. The time was supposed to be his!

It was totally opposite from what Yoona thought, Jiyong continued to whine while Yoona let out a defeated sigh. "Of course!" Yoona replied almost immediately. "I agree!"

After hearing Jiyong's suggestion, her eyes lit up, thinking that there's finally a way out. She'd be able to go for her schedule without him getting mad at her.

"So confident?" Jiyong raised his brows at her, "You don't want to hear what's the condition first before agreeing?"

"Anything for you to stop getting mad," Yoona buried her head on his chest and turned to look at him, "So that I'll be able to go for my schedule in peace."

"Since you have already agreed, you can't back out anymore." Jiyong was very satisfied with the answer and patted her head. "Make sure you stick to your words."

"Yes yes, so what is it?"

"You're staying over tonight, that's the condition," Jiyong said it confidently with a smug.

"Mwuh?! No way!" Yoona's head shot up, looking at him unbelievably, "I have a schedule tomorrow and my manager will be picking me up!"

"I'll send you to the salon, fair enough?" Jiyong replied calmly, "You can tell your manager to meet you there."

"B-But your car is too fancy! You'll definitely get spotted by the fans." Yoona was still trying her best to deny this crazy idea of his.

"I'm going to borrow Daesung's car, I'll just cab to his place and I'm sure he doesn't mind."

It seemed as if Jiyong had planned it thoroughly, his replies to her questions were almost instantly, leaving her speechless.

"Even though you have so many rooms in this apartment, the only room that has bed is the master bedroom!" Yoona was not planning to give up, "You are expecting me to sleep on the couch?"

"Aigoo~" Jiyong finally sat up and cupped her face, "Are you really that innocent or are you acting, Im Yoona?"

Yoona stared at him blankly with her cheeks getting squashed by Jiyong.

"You're too cute!" Jiyong kissed her lips, "Why would you be sleeping on the couch? You'll definitely be sleeping right beside me, on the same bed!"

"Yah!" Yoona removed his hands from her cheeks, "You can't be serious."

"I'm dead serious, do I look like I'm joking?" Jiyong looked into her eyes and Yoona couldn't see any hint of playfulness in them.

Yoona stayed silent and Jiyong broke off, leaning his back on the couch. There was a moment of silence and Jiyong thought he should do something.

"It's okay if you're not willing to," Jiyong cooed, "You can go and have fun with your fans, enjoy yourself but I'm not sure if you'll be able to find me after that?"

Jiyong purposely did a motion, looking as if he was leaving.

"Yah yah!" Yoona shouted and Jiyong halted his steps, a grin appearing on his face. "Fine, I'll stay! Where are you going!"

Jiyong turned around, smiling cheekily at her before bursting out laughing, walking towards her.

"Where can I go~" Jiyong wrapped his arms around her waist, "I'm going to borrow Daesung's car, I'm serious about sending you over tomorrow."

Jiyong ran away right after his sentence, not forgetting to give her a peck before disappearing behind the door.

"Yah! Kwon Jiyong! You're so annoying!"

Yoona didn't know why was she pacifying him when it was obviously her birthday, shouldn't it be another way round?

"You're back?" Yoona asked while her fingers were fumbling around her phone, her eyes didn't leave the phone.

"Mhmm," Jiyong walked over, "What are you doing? So focused."

"Posting the dance practice of the boy groups' songs as a gift for the fans..." Yoona replied, "The one that I sent you that day. I still don't believe I did it. It was so tough, I thought I was going to die."

"Right, you fell asleep on me that day and was complaining that you're all sore the next day." Jiyong laughed at the thought of that day, "I told you to choose BIGBANG or my songs, you didn't want to listen. If you did, you wouldn't have such a hard time."

"Nah, if I did, I'll probably stir for the media to write about. I don't want to appear on the news." Yoona smiled at her caption and gave a satisfied smile before hitting the sent button. "Done!"

Yoona turned her head towards Jiyong and she didn't realize they were this close, their lips almost touching. She got a shock and wanted to move back, only to see Jiyong grinning like an idiot, putting his arms around her waist, pulling her back.

"What's w-wrong with you!" Yoona slapped his arms. "Tomorrow's my birthday but it seems like you're happier than me."

"I'm happy that you're staying tonight," Jiyong rubbed his nose against hers, "Even though half of the time tomorrow you'll be away."

"Awh, you're still at that topic?" Yoona laughed at his sentence, "I'd love to spend the entire day with you too but it was scheduled way earlier, even before I started talking to you."

"I know, I was just fooling around." Jiyong let go of his grip. "You have way more schedules than me now, so are you going to feed me, since I'm just laying around doing nothing."

"Oh please, you laying around doing nothing might be earning more than me going for a schedule." Yoona pinched his sides playfully, "By the way, I'm not renewing with Innisfree. I'm losing another job~ Gonna be jobless soon~"

"Eh? You're ending it? After 11 years?"

"Yeah, after discussing with them, we came to the conclusion that it's time to come to an end." Yoona smiled, "It's been a good run with them, it's like I've given them my entire youth."
