Jiyong finally arrived at Sandara’s place. Seunghyun quickly go to the front door to welcoming him.

“Where is Dara and the kids?” Jiyong asked Seunghyun

“Oppa you’ve finally come.” There is a girl voices that greeted him lively from inside the house.

“Chaerin-ah, do you already finished tidying up your room for Jiyong to be used?” Seunghyun asked

“You will be stayed in Chaerin’s room and as for her she will moved in to Dara’s room.” He turned to Jiyong and explain.

Jiyong just nodded as a respond for his words.

“It’s almost finished, but I’d just want to greet him first.” She answered and smile sweetly towards Jiyong.

“Just give me and Jiyong some time to talk first, okay? Don’t we already agree that you will let me to have a talk alone with him as a condition for him to stay in here?” Seunghyun reminded her

He already suffered enough from her constant nagging before and he doesn’t want her to intervene his talk with Jiyong as it will makes the talk become longer that it should be.

“Arasso” she gives in and turned to face Jiyong.

“When he started to become a pain in the don’t take his words seriously and just ignore it.” Chaerin tells him playfully

“Just wait until Dara hears that words you’ve say just now, young lady. She will not be pleasant.” Seunghyun threatens her.

“Oppa, I’m just kidding, okay? Please don’t tell her.” She pleaded and looking at him with her best expression she can do to looked convincing.

“You’re really a mischievous one, girl. I will not tell her, just go before I change my mind.” He sighed

“Thanks oppa, joahe.” She gives him a sudden hug before pulled it away and go back to her room to continue tidying up.

“Aigoo that kid, since when she’s becoming like that?” he talk to himself, feels surprised about the sudden hug that she gives to him.

“I think she’s really cute.” Jiyong commented on Chaerin action just now

“Don’t try make a move on her. She’s still a minor.” He said dryly

“Rest assured, I’m not interested to make a move to a minor like her as it will be considering as a crime, right?” he replied obviously, feels ridiculous about the matter that Seunghyun brought up.

There is an awkward moment of silent until Seunghyun cleared his throat and decided to start the conversation.

“For now let’s move to the living room first, we will continue our talk there.” Seunghyun makes a gesture towards Jiyong to follow him.

“Lets us introduces each other formally as for the last time we met we don’t have a chance to do that because of the whole mess that happened.” Seunghyun suggested

They shake hands and started to introduce themselves to each other.

“Let’s start from me, my name is Choi Seunghyun. I’m a detective at Seoul police department.” Seunghyun introduces himself briefly

“My name is Kwon Jiyong. I’ve just got accepted as an English teacher at SM high school and will be start working in next week on Monday.” Jiyong introduces himself

“Your job interview last time goes well, it’s great. Congrats.” Seunghyun congratulate him sincerely

“Thanks, I will work hard so that I will not become a freeloader here.” Jiyong said

“Okay, good luck with that. Just don’t add more trouble for Dara.” Seunghyun tells him.

“I will not.” Jiyong replied firmly

“For now I’d just want to ask a few question about you. You will be stay in here so of course I need to know you better.” He said

“Is this some kind of background check?” Jiyong asked feels uncertain about his action toward him

“Yes, but it will be a simple one. It’s not like I can’t trust you but to be honest I still have a slightly doubt towards you. Please cooperate with me for a while and don’t feel offended okay?” Seunghyun explained

“Sure, don’t worry.” Jiyong replied, agreed to cooperate with him.

He understand that Seunghyun needs to do this in order to protect Dara and the kids from bad people. It’s just one of his way to express his affection towards them. Any other people will do the same things if they’re in his shoes.
