“Jiyong-ah, after all the things that we went through together I do think that my feeling for you growing stronger than the one I had for Youngbae now.” Hyorin confess honestly

“What are you talking about!? Do you know how selfish your words are?” Jiyong gets angry

“I know so that’s why I decided to leave Youngbae rather than be with him with my feeling for you right now. It’s unfair for him.”

“Listen, I never had any romantic feelings for you so you shouldn’t fall at me!” he tells her firmly

Jiyong words makes Hyorin feels hurtful but she knows how close he and Youngbae is. He did all those things because of Youngbae.

“I know, but still I just want to let you know about it.”

“Then what will you do about it?” He asked, feels annoyed

“About that… . I just don’t know any more what should I do.” Hyorin looks frustrated

"Just stay by his side and forget about the things that we did together.” He tells her

Hyorin just keep silent as she feels hurt with Jiyong words

“You know, time will let you forget about it. Next week I’ll go to London for student exchange program and the course takes 2 years.”

“Huh!? Why don’t you tell me earlier? Is it because of me?”

“Don’t get misunderstand sweetie. I just think I need to get away from all the things that burden me for a while and get a new environment in my life.”

Hyorin just stare at him with watery eyes that will fall down any moment.

“I’m sorry, it must be hard for you to doing this. You’ve gone through a lot for helping me.” She burst into tears as she feels bad for him and mad at herself for being too selfish and just thinking about her own feeling

“I’ve always telling you that I’m willing to help you so you don’t need to feel sorry.” He get closer and wipe the tears that falling down from her eyes with his thumb

“But…”

“I’ve just wanted you and Youngbae to have a happy life after all the hardship that we are going through together. I know I can’t force you to stay by Youngbae side but please try to reconsider it. He really loves you so much, I’m sure you will have a happy life with him. We can still meet with each other after I finished the student exchange program but that’s if you’re still with Youngbae at that time.” Jiyong takes her into his embrace and comfort her

End of flashback

Jiyong wakes up after the alarm ringing, feel sluggish and tired even though he slept long enough last night, all of these happened because he dreams about his past out of blue. The past that makes him feels guilty towards Youngbae which he wants to forget but with all things that happened recently, his past with Hyorin slowly resurface even though he doesn’t want to remember it again.

“Sometimes, I do miss your touch.” Hyorin whisper to his ear

“Sh*t, why did I remember her words from last night out of blue!?” He grumbled to himself while ruffled his hair

Hyorin already wakes up and she feels the after effect for getting drunk last night. She slowly steps out from her bed and found a glass of water and a bottle of hangover remedy on the table beside her bed with notes on it.

“It’s must be Jiyong.” Hyorin mumbled to herself, feels sorry for what she did to him last night

She takes her phones from the table to check the time and surprised to see that it’s almost 9 a.m. as her work started at 8 a.m. She text Daesung, tell him that she’s going to be late and quickly getting ready for work. As she was in hurry, she forgets to covers her bruises on her upper arm and shoulder while using sleeveless top to go to work.

When she arrived at the daycare she passed by a group of mothers that leave their children on daycare on the daycare’s front gate. She greets them politely but the mothers seem to looks at her with unfriendly look that makes Hyorin wondering if something wrong with her speech or appearance. She decided to ignore them and get inside before one of the mothers stop her.

“Excuse me, Min Sonsengnim. Can you please cover the bruises on your shoulder and upper arm with something before getting in? I don’t want the kids at the daycare seeing you like this.” One of the mother reprimands her

“Oh, I’ll cover it with the cardigan that I have inside. I’m sorry for not pay attention to my appearance.” Hyorin bowed politely

“Min sonsengnim, do you perhaps come to work late because last night you’re drinking too much? You still reek of alcohol, you know?” One of the mothers said while scrunching her nose

“You should be wary with your appearance. Your job is looking after kids after all.” The other advises her

“Wait, don’t your husband go abroad for works? Is he already back into Korea?” They asked, feels suspicious

“Don’t you know that for the time her husband away there is a police detective and his friend stay at her place? I still seeing one of the guys comes out from her place this morning.”

“So, it means her husband still hasn’t come back yet!? You had a drink with the two guys that stay at your place?” the mother widens her eyes, feels unbelievable

They have a shocked expression and nasty looks towards Hyorin

“Their stay at my place it’s based on my husband consent. I hope you don’t spread any weird rumors. I apologize for coming late and not being wary about my appearance, I’ll tidy up myself first before meet with the kids. Excuses me.” Hyorin bowed down politely and leave them away to get inside, feels embarrassed and angry

It’s almost the time for Hyorin and the others finished their work. They’re already prepared to going back home Dara approach Hyorin.

“Hyorin-ah, can I have a talk with you?” Dara asked

“Sure, what do you want to talk about?” Hyorin asked while wondering

“How about we’re talking while having dinner together?”

“All right, I’ll tell Jiyong and asking him to have a dinner together with us.” She takes out her phone from the bag and was about to called him before Dara stopped her

“I’m sorry but I’ve wanted to have a private talk with you if you don’t mind.” Dara said

“Sure, if that’s what you want.” Hyorin replied casually

“Today you show up late at work with some bruises. Did something bad happened?” Dara asks, feels worry

“I’m getting drunk last night and when I was about to stand the things on the shelf fall on me. That’s where I got the bruises from.” Hyorin tells her

“Well, it’s not completely a lie, I’m just takes out some detail which she doesn’t need to know.” Hyorin thought to herself

“Are you alone at that time?” Dara asked

“No, I was with Jiyong when that happen.”

“Don’t he supposed to looking after you?” Dara raised her voice a little bit as she feels angry towards Jiyong treatment to Hyorin

“Well, it’s not just me that suffer from getting hit by things that fall from the shelf. He gets hit too, if you happened to meet him, he got a portion of bruises on him.”

“He gets drunk too!?” Dara gets mad

“I forced him to accompany me drink, his tolerance of alcohol is high so he still sobers and takes a good care of me after that. Don’t get angry at him, okay?” Hyorin try to convince her

“All right, I won’t get mad at him. I know how he takes a good care of drunk people as I’m experienced it by myself.” D
