A few days later while Dara happened to eat lunch at café nearby day care where she works, she accidentally overheard a conversation of some young mothers that place their kids at the daycare. They happened to mention about Hyorin in their talk.

“Do you know that Min-sonsengnim’s husband friend that stay at her place work as a high school teacher? I heard that he had a relationship with one of his students.”

“I’ve met him a few times when he comes to the daycare to pick up Min-sonsengnim. I think their interaction with each other way too close for just a friend.”

“Yes, I’m agree and I feel like he had a womanizer aura unlike the other guy that stay at her place too.”

“You’ve mean the police detective?”

“Yes, it seems they took turns to pick her up from daycare after work. He looks calm and a little bit stern.”

“Is that why her husband gets him to stay together with them to look out for his friend’s flirtatious personality?”

“I know right, by the way the student that get rumored with him is Park Sonsengnim’s relative! Did she know about her relative closeness with her sonsengnim?”

Dara’s mind went blank for a second as she needs time to grasp about the conversation that she overheard before. She stands up and pay out the bill then go out from the café to get some fresh air as her mind now full of worries and suspicion towards Jiyong.

“When I thought about it again, she looks really mad when she learns about Jiyong stay at Hyorin’s place, is she fall for him?” Dara thought to herself feels puzzled

Besides worry about Chaerin she worry about Hyorin too, even though Seunghyun stay with them but he’s not always there all the time as he is busy going back and forth for the case that he works in. In the end the all the doubt she had towards him from before makes her decided to asked the person herself.

Jiyong comes to Dara’s place after finished his work at school. He wondering why Dara ask him to comes and meet her out of blue.

“What is your relationship with Hyorin? I don’t think you are just a friend with each other.” Dara asked bluntly

“Why do you ask about it out of blue?” Jiyong looks uneasy and taken aback

“You know, when I looking back at your interaction with Hyorin it looks to me that you’ve got more than what you said to me. You said he is just a friend, right? I don’t believe that.”

“And what? Where this conversation going to? Don’t beat around the bush!?” Jiyong looks annoyed

“All right then, tell me honestly. Do you have an affair with Hyorin behind Youngbae’s back?” Dara asked

“Do you accuse me having an affair with her? What makes you have that thought?” Jiyong looks dumbfounded

“Let say that someone told me that you were sleeping with her when we had a vacation together at the campsite back then on summer holiday.” Dara decided to confront him directly

“Listen, I’m not sleeping nor having an affair with her!” Jiyong raised his voice

“Yah Kwon Jiyong, you take me as an idiot!? She had a hickey mark that left by you, what else did you two do if it isn’t making love with each other?” Dara gets angry and get lost in her emotion

“It’s not like what you think and I don’t want to talk about it! Are you here to talk about me and Hyorin getting an affair!?” Jiyong can’t explain properly because emotion that pent up on him went over of his conscience

“Whether you really had an affair with her or not I don’t care but how come she had a heart to have an affair with her husband best friend!?”

“Don’t talk like you ing know everything! Don’t poke your nose around this matter, it’s not your business!” Jiyong look furious

“You’re right, I’m just an outsider anyway, I don’t have a right to judge you or her.” Dara looks hurtful and disappointed at the same time

Jiyong just keeps silent as he feels sorry at her for getting worked up about Hyorin but on the other side he can’t do anything as it’s already happened. His emotion gets ahead of him as usual and it gets worse when it comes to people that trying to sniff around about thing that happened between him and Hyorin.

“You can keep close to her and I don’t care but don’t get close to Lee Chaerin too. She is a minor Jiyong, for god sake.” Dara said

“What nonsense are you talking about!?” Jiyong looks surprised and feels irritated with Dara sudden accusation towards him

“I beg you please keep a distance from her, you’re her homeroom teacher so I don’t want her to getting into trouble at school because of your frivolous act towards her.”

“First, you’re telling me that I’m having an affair with Hyorin and now you accuse me as a womanizer!? Yah, what’s wrong with you!?” Jiyong yelled at her, feels angry

“I don’t want you to get too close to Chaerin!” Dara said, feels mad

“I’ve had enough! Right, I should never show my concern towards her in the first place.” Jiyong feels frustrated as he just truly cares about Chaerin genuinely without any ulterior motive but people around him seems to take it wrong. He can’t explain it well as it’s all related with people around her.

“What do you mean!?”

“You and Seunghyun hyung are the ones that looking after her, not me! I shouldn’t get involved with her problem in the first place. You’ve wanted me to keep a distance with her!? I’ll gladly do it, you can have my words but leave Hyorin out of this. Don’t even try to bother her with her matter with me.” Jiyong warning her and went away, leaving Dara that just keep silent while feels disappointed, angry, dejected, and sad at the same time.

Seunghyun are on his way to Dara’s place and already arrived at her front door. He was about to open it before someone from the inside slam the door roughly to open it. It startled Seunghyun as he almost getting hit by the door. He sees someone get out with an angry troubled expression on his face.

“What happened?” Seunghyun asked him

“ off!” he snaps at him, looks furious and left without waiting for the response

Seunghyun quickly get inside to look for Dara. He found her at the living room, sit by herself. Her expression looks gloom. He can see there is a trace of tears that almost dry at her swollen eyes and gently approached her.

“Dara-ya.” He called her

The latter startled by Seunghyun presence beside her. She is too immersed in her mind to notice him comes in. She hurriedly wipes her eyes as she doesn’t want to makes Seunghyun worry.

“Is everything okay? I happened to passed by Jiyong at the front door when I comes in.” he asked her while takes her hands to his and caress it gently

“I..I just confront him about his relationship with Hyorin.” She replied weakly

“Then it explained why he looks so furious. What reason that makes you to do so?” he asked while wondering
