Jiyong was wandering around at seashore alone when he happened to see Chaerin sit by herself.

“Lee Chaerin!” Jiyong called her

She is sitting on a big rock near the seashore, folding her leg with her arm crossing the knees while looking faraway at the sea in the deep thought. Her eyes look a little bit swollen and red as she was crying before. He climbs the rock, carefully approached her and started asking her.

“What’s happen with you?” he looks at her gently

She notices his presence beside her and turned around to face him. Her eyes emit a lot of mixed feeling as she looks dejected and lonely. She just stares at him while say nothing.

“Why do you look so sad?” he asked while takes her hands and place it on his hands

“Oppa, you are like them too, right? They just care about me because of Dara nuna.” She finally talked

“Them? Ah, do you mean Seungri and Seunghyun hyung?” he asks to make sure about it

Chaerin just nodded weakly as a respond

“Is it because of what they did to you back then? Do you still feel hurt about it?”

“It’s a lie if I say I’m not feel hurt by their words but let that aside, for now I’m feel sad knowing that nobody really cares about me genuinely.”

Jiyong keeps silent for a while as he knows exactly what kind of feeling she has right now because he had been in the similar situation in the past. He wondering for a bit about how to convey his past situation to her in a way that can comfort and cheer her up and won’t affect her relationship with Dara and others in the future. After contemplating for some times, he decided to share some part of his past life story to her.

“You know what, in the past I did have the same feeling as you. My father left me and my mom before I was even born and when I was a child my mom decided to take her life away and leave me alone.”

“You do have that kind of past?” Chaerin widens her eyes feels surprised

“Yes, but not many know about it. I thought that if I share with you can be much of help to face the situation that you have right now.”

“When I was is that kind of situation, I did think that people don’t genuinely care about me even when my neighborhood decided to take me in, I still think he did it because of my mom, not because he truly care about me.”

“Listen, regardless for whom they did for or whatever reason they had it’s not important, it’s their action that matters. It’s not easy to be concern about other people that you’re not even related to. The fact that they still try and give their best to looking after you attentively it’s something that you should be thankful for having someone like them in your life. Try to enjoy your life with them when you’re still have a chance to do so. Don’t think too much and try to appreciate their kindness towards you, okay?”

“I don’t know that you can give me that kind of advice.” Chaerin feels a little bit surprised and amazed

“And do you think that’s a good thing?” Jiyong asked while wondering what answer will be Chaerin gives to him

“I wonder about that.” She replied mischievously

“Please keep it a secret about what I’ve feels towards them. I don’t want to make things become awkward with them.” Chaerin tells him
