Mark and Donghyuck walked home together in comfortable silence. The two boys didn't say a word as Mark grabbed Donghyuck's hand. 

A nervous laugh was all that came out from Mark as Donghyuck began wiggling his eyebrows. 

Mark stopped walking and his hold on Donghyuck's hand tightened. "Hyuck, can we talk?" 

Worry built up in the younger as he nodded.

"Well, I'm graduating soon. I really like you Donghyuck, but I don't want to put you into relationships where we barely see each other. I can't do that to you." 

Donghyuck's mind went blank. How the hell did he forget that Mark was leaving soon. Donghyuck was now worried that Mark would probably find someone in college.

Someone his age, someone who didn't have to buy a sugar drink just to talk to him, and someone who Mark could talk to all the time while he was in college. 

Donghyuck didn't want to let go of Mark. If Mark left he'd probably come back with someone better than him. Donghyuck knew he was being selfish, but he just kissed Mark. That's something he wants for the rest of his life. 

"I can do long distance." 

Mark pulled Donghyuck's small frame in front of him. Their faces so close he could feel Donghyuck's breath. "Are you sure, I don't want to force you."

Donghyuck placed his arm around Mark's shoulder. "You're not forcing me, I want to be with you. Even if I can't see you in person FaceTime exists."

"I have an android hyuckie." Mark mumbled.

"Skype, that works." Donghyuck whispered.

"Skype is a little too old." 

"Zoom, we can zoom call." Donghyuck smiled.

"No, no that reminds me of school." Mark groaned, smiling as he was Donghyuck getting annoyed.

"Mark Lee, I will murder you." Hyuckie smiled.

"You know, Zoom is pretty cool." Mark laughed, pulling Donghyuck closer. Mark gave the younger a tiny peck on the lips before walking again.

Donghyuck stood on the sidewalk in the same position touching his lips.

"Hyuckie, I'm going to beat you home!" Mark shouted two streets down from Donghyuck.

Donghyuck brought himself back to reality and began running towards Mark.

The two boys would continue walking around until two am. Constantly stopping at mom and pop shops that sold candy.

Donghyuck tried his best not to cry as he saw Mark walk the stage. People in the seats next to him stared at him weirdly as he wiped his tears on his sofia the first pajamas.

Donghyuck was proud that his boyfriend was finally graduating and that Mark got into the best university in South Korea. Donghyuck just didn't enjoy the fact that Mark would be leaving him soon. 

Three more months together before he leaves and seeing how time has sped up tremendously he probably wouldn't have much time. 

"Hyuck, you still coming over later?"

Donghyuck turned to see Seulgi and Irene. He nodded a question burning inside of him.

"You two went to high school together right?"

Seulgi smiled. "Yup, I was in the same position you're in right now."

Donghyuck began playing with his shirts sleeve. "How did you two.. yah know…  talk." 

"We called each other almost every night before bed. That only lasted a year since I attended the same college the next year." Seulgi said, cutely looking at Irene. 

"Then of course we got married in college as well." Irene added smiling at the memory.

Donghyuck stopped working. "You two just got married last month at the courthouse, I was there don't lie to me."

Seulgi laughed at the young boy. "We one time flew out to Las Vegas for spring break and got married there." 

Donghyuck ran his hands through his hair wondering if Mark would do that with him.

"What are you guys talking about?" Mark joined.

"That I wanted Irene to take pictures of you and Donghyuck. So, get close together." 

Mark couldn't help but to laugh at Donghyuck panicking.

"Seulgi, my clothes, I ran here in my pajamas!" 

"You should have changed bub. Now pose with Mark." 

Donghyuck groaned walking over Mark. "Don't laugh at me, this is your fault." 

Mark giggled, pulling Donghyuck into his side. He placed his right arm over Donghyuck's shoulders. 

They were probably taking pictures for a good five minutes now and Donghyuck's face was watermelon red. 

"Last picture, do a cute pose!" Irene shouted like most NCTzens hungry for markhyuck content. (;^])

Donghyuck being a cheeky son of decided he wanted Mark's face bright red as well. 

Donghyuck pulled Mark's face towards him and kissed him on the cheek. He would've kissed him on the lips but making fun of his pajamas denied his rights to Donghyuck's sweet kisses. 

"Woah, Donghyuck that's what I'm talking about!" Irene cheerfully shouted.

Mark and Donghyuck left the school holding hands. Seulgi and Irene left them behind to pick up Minjun but they weren't complaining.

Donghyuck stopped walking just as they stood in front of the convenience store. "Mark, can we go in?" 

Mark looked at the store front with saddened eyes as he remembers he no longer works there. 

Lots of memories ran through Mark's head, the first time he met Donghyuck was in the store. He remembers seeing Donghyuck dance to red flavor in the black of the store and how flustered he was when he saw Mark staring. 

That first meeting led to Mark playing red flavor on repeats for months thinking about Donghyuck dancing. 

Mark then thought about how he told Donghyuck he hated watermelon and how Donghyuck challenged him to a fight. Mark smiles knowing he still hasn't Donghyuck that watermelon was his favorite fruit. 

That last memory was when Donghyuck began buying the watermelon soda or pure watermelon sugar Mark's ex manager would call it. 

Mark began to drink the sweet drink thinking that he would be a great conversation starter with Donghyuck. That was until Jeno told him it was kinda creepy to tell him "hey donghyuck, I drink this because of you and I have a crush on you. Date me please!" which killed Mark's love for the drink.

"Mark, you okay? We can leave if you want." Donghyuck soft voice through.

Mark shook his head smiling to himself. "It's fine, let's get you some watermelon sugar love."
