beep beep be-

"uggh…" Donghyuck groaned as he turned off his alarm clock. His eyes were slow opening as he looked at the time and he wished he could go back to bed. 

The sun was beginning to shine through his window and he could already feel the urge to die. Donghyuck looked at his dresser and saw his latest can of watermelon soda. His face quickly erupted in flames as he remembered what he said to Mark.

Donghyuck walked into his bathroom and did his whole morning routine which included watering all the plants that littered the tiny apartment.

As the clock turned seven Donghyuck threw on a pair of black jeans with a Hawaiian looking shirt and ran out the door. Donghyuck ran to the bus stop which happened to be located right next to the convenience store. 

Donghyuck saw Mark walking towards the bus stop. Donghyuck and Mark always talk on their way to school but being the little scared he is, Donghyuck avoided Mark on the bus. 

Mark couldn't help but laugh seeing Donghyuck's reaction. Mark stood right next to Donghyuck on the entire ride to school. The younger's bright tan skin shining as the sun hit his face, just seeing that made Mark's entire day. 

Mark was a year older then Donghyuck, so Mark running around getting ready to graduate was a normal occurrence in school. Donghyuck and Mark happened to share a few classes which Donghyuck hated with all his heart  but kept the classes to see his true love. 

He saw Mark already during his first two classes and his face was now so scorching hot from how many times they made eye contact.

When the bell for lunch rang Donghyuck fled his class and made his way to his friend table. 

Jaemin and Jeno were already sitting there eating their lunch having a sweet conversation about how much they love each other when Donghyuck came and slammed his face on the table.

Jeno noticed how red Donghyuck was and thought maybe he hit himself too hard. "Donghyuck, buddy, you sure you don't want to go to the nurse?"

Donghyuck sighed and picked his head up, "I'm stupid."

"Did you just figure that out?" Jisung said, sitting down beside Donghyuck. Chenle and Renjun also joined them at the table.

Donghyuck stock his tongue out and Jisung and turned toward Jeno. "I might have flirted with Mark by accident..."

Renjun stuck his hand out and Donghyuck watched as they handed him money. "Bless your soul Haechan." Renjun said while counting money. 

"What's going on?" Donghyuck asked confused and worried by the way Jisung was looking at him.

"We bet on you and you just cost me fifty bucks." Jisung growled.

"Jisung shut up and Donghyuck explain what happened please." Chenle said, moving Jisung aside and sitting Donghyuck. 

Donghyuck explained what happened in the convenience store and put his down on the table as he finished it. 

"That doesn't sound like flirting at all." Jaemin said, sipping on his chocolate milk. 

"Well I thought it was." Donghyuck mumbled to himself as Jaemin clicked his tongue.

"Let me demonstrate what flirting is to Haechan. Jaemin, I must be in a museum." Jeno softly whispered. 

"Oh, why is that?" Jaemin rested his jaw on the palm of his hand as he looked at Jeno.

"Because you truly are a work of art." Jeno winked at Jaemin then turned to Donghyuck. "Flirting is just about saying something cute and making the other person you think they're cute." 

"Jeno, I told him that he's sweet enough that he can't handle overly sweet soda. How did I not make clear he's cute." Donghyuck questioned.

"Saying someone is sweet is like saying someone is nice. You didn't say anything about him being cute." Jeno said, rubbing his head. 

"What do you want me to say? Mark Lee, you're far too perfect for this world that God even fears how perfect you are?" Donghyuck said in a cutest voice he could muster. 

"I didn't know you thought of me that way Donghyuck, I'll keep in mind God's afraid of me now." A voice behind Donghyuck said in a very cocky tone. 

Donghyuck slowly got out of his seat and waved at his friends. "Goodbye" 

They all watched Donghyuck walk towards the cafeteria doors.

 "He's going to run at the speed of light right now." Chenle said, looking at Mark. "I'd chase after him right now if I were you." 

Mark thanked Chenle before running towards Donghyuck.
