Apartment 3-B:

Eunji: Oh Hayoung!

               … Oh Hayoung!

Naeun: Should I go get her?
Eunji: Could you? I brought food for the three of us.

Naeun nods and heads into Hayoung's room. She’s sitting with an oversized teal headset pulled over her ears.

Hayoung: Move right! To the right! JOY!

Naeun: Eunji brought food for us.

Hayoung: Nrg… Tell her to give me a minute.

Naeun: It’ll get cold.

Hayoung: Just thi–this…

               Okay fine. We probably lost this match anyway.

Hayoung sighs and follows Naeun out to the table.

Hayoung: You’re home early.

Eunji: There weren’t that many deliveries and Mr. Gak seemed pretty tired.

Naeun: Aren’t you working at the convenience store too?

Eunji: I’m only taking shifts over the weekend.

Hayoung: You’re working yourself too hard, unnie.

Eunji smiles brightly at her little sister, reaching to ruffle the front of her bangs.

Eunji: Don’t worry about me.

Naeun: I could take more shifts too if it would lighten your load.

Eunji: Aye, it’s not even your problem anyway Naeun. Just focus on your studies so your parents don’t get worried.

Naeun (mumbles): I wouldn’t mind the workload

Eunji: I know you won’t.

               But I’d much rather have Hayoung offer to make sacrifices like that.

Hayoung: Hey… 

Naeun (giggles): She’s too occupied with her games to do that.

Hayoung: It’s important that I practice so I can go professional!

Naeun: Whatever you say kiddo.

Hayoung: Just you wait!

               I’m going to become the best gamer in the world and make so much money. Then we’ll see who’s laughing!

Eunji kicks back and watches the two bicker. She knows she should probably stop them, but Eunji always likes to have her share of fun. 

They end up on the couch watching television a couple hours later.

Eunji: There’s nothing fun to watch these days.

Hayoung: Tell me about it.

               Joy and Yerin are probably still waiting for me to play more rounds right now.

Eunji: If this is your way of asking to go back into your room and play games for the rest of the night, then my answer is no.

Hayoung (groans): Aww. But we aren’t doing anything anyway!

Naeun: We could just talk.

Hayoung: Since when did you like to talk?

Eunji: Is your book getting boring?

Naeun: Well, no. But it’s getting me thinking.

Hayoung: About what?

Eunji (teasingly): Could it be? Our Naeun is thinking about love?

Hayoung (giggling): That’d be real news.

Naeun (nervously): I mean… I don’t know if it’s love.

               Maybe just a crush?

Eunji: Ah, we all have one of those.

Hayoung: What do you mean, unnie?

               Do you like someone too?

Eunji: … Not right now… But I know you have your own crush.

Hayoung (shouts): What are you talking about! I don’t have a crush!

               I… I don’t like anyone.

Eunji and Naeun make eye contact and burst out laughing. Hayoung sounded like she was having a hard time even believing herself.

Naeun: So we’re just supposed to ignore the googly eyes you make whenever you look at Namjoo?

Eunji: You’ve been in love with her for almost forever!

               You two are inseparable!

Hayoung: You don’t see her with me right now, do you?

               I don’t even play games with her! I play with Joy and Yerin!

Naeun: You’re so hopeless Hayoung.

Eunji: Oh my gosh! Is Namjoo at the
