Entangled in

AUTHOR’S P.O.V.

It was filled with that smell of old papers and had dusts accumulated over time in shelves.

Students busy researching here and there.

Some are using an ancient technique which I call "get a good thick enough book to sleep on".

Lamps situated atop each long wooden table with chairs made for comfortable long hours of sitting.

Yes, this is the museum like library of Setile Academy.

It housed more books than any other libraries in the world combined.

A small frustrated groan was made.

Amber sighed plopping herself unto the pile of papers in surrender.

Her face signaling a raised white flag.

Krystal who sat opposite her doing her homework as she observed this new transfer student went to her table.

Standing there, Amber raised her eyebrow and waited for what she would do or say.

Struck dumbfounded was she when Krystal picked up a book from the stack on her left.

"Stop staring at me, shut up and just watch me how to -" she formed quotation marks as she continued, "-"ACTUALLY DO IT RIGHT"."

As soon as her companion immersed herself into researching Amber mimicked in annoyance the last sentence given to her.

At a another give time. . .

Scanning through one page at a time like a boss Amber skimmed through books she could find related to her problem now.

Engrossing herself in it she did not notice another person's presence who called, "Amber."

Krystal's friend looked at her and was replied with an apologetic smile.

They waited. . .

And waited. . .

And waited. . .

And waited. . .

And waited. . .

And waited. . .

And waited. . .

Until in a matter of quick seconds an evil smirk appeared.

WHACK!

The friend could only watch with ' o.o ' eyes.

She also awkwardly stepped away slowly from Krystal just in case.

Then stooping a bit she tried checking if this girl named Amber became unconscious or has played dead.

"Don't worry -" Krystal said in confidence with one hand saying 'Pfffttttttt!  That was nothing to her.'

"-she is still alive.  What I used is the lightweight edition."

For a mere second her friend's eyes leveled up to ' O.O ' seeing the "lightweight edition" roughly around two inches thick.

AMBER'S P.O.V.

I re-plugged my left nostril with a new tissue.

T.T

Darn this school!

They trained an Amazon for crying out loud!

*SIGH*

Patience, must have patience.

Good thing I only got a little nosebleed.

I must go to the clinic and have some MRI scan on my brain.

Perhaps this Krystal Jung is a figment of my imagination.

An imaginary friend - scratch that - imaginary ENEMY made up because of accumulated stress ever since coming here.

"EHEM!"

Ohhh!!!  I almost forgot about them!

"Sorry, got to prevent possible death due to blood loss secondary to a two inched book unnecessarily smacked to my face!"

This girl has no conscience facing me unfazed but this friend beside her appears as an angel.

Hope they are not -

"This is my best friend, Sulli."

TT.TT

I thought and hoped way too soon.

I am going to die!  Die I tell you!

"Choi Sulli," she offered her hand to me.

Back and forth from her to the hand I looked then to Krystal Jung.

Somehow that relationship "best friend" between them is impossible.

You see, Sulli is surrounded by this heavenly-like aura whereas, you-know-who has - err - her own unique atmosphere.

It gives off the feeling that she's Hades' daughter in this lifetime.

Accepting the offered handshake, "Amber Liu, pleasure to meet you."

"To get to the point, Sulli is a famed data collector in our school.  The best there is and I have been meaning to ask her help but she rarely does that unless it interests her.  Also, I had my doubts for her safety meeting you."

What the-?!  You were the one who hit me!

I cannot believe this, "So what changed her mind and made her decide to help me?"

"She had gotten to know you and offered her services even though I didn't ask."

"I know she's the one stalking me for the past few days.  But what's in it for you, Sulli?"

This girl looks a bit lost and clueless unit I mentioned her name.

"Marry me after college," she replied with a genuine smile.

Or not.  O.O
