It was a Sunday. A day when alarm clock is not needed. 

A beam of sunlight entered the bedroom through the window, birds were chirping and singing. 

Hyewon is somewhat sensitive to lights, so she always leaves the window opened. 

To make sure she can wake up early without interrupting Sakura’s sleep. 

Hyewon is a sleepyhead, but Sakura is worse. 

This makes Hyewon to become a morning person instead because their routine is gonna be so messed up if there’s no one to manage the household. 

The woman opened her eyes, she could barely see anything clearly, all she knew was she felt so comfortable and really eager to go back to sleep. 

No I shouldn’t, I gotta wake up now. 

Despite being so tired, Hyewon convinced herself to give up on sleeping. To make sure she wouldn’t fall back asleep, she supported her upper body on her elbow, trying to sit upright. 

All she wanted was to make a good hearty breakfast for her Kkura, for him to enjoy the morning having delicious food with no rush at all. 

Although she loves eating, she couldn’t cook really well, so she needed more time to prepare, or if her cooking fails, she can try again. 

She once had so many cuts on her fingers just to prepare a steak for him, he teared up and shooed her away so he could take over. 

“….mmph corn.” Sakura mumbled suddenly while tightening his hug on Hyewon’s waist, coincidentally when she was trying to escape from the hug without waking him up. 

The warmth she received from him was indeed so addictive that she was willing to give up on everything in return. 

Just let me enjoy this moment for a bit. 

She relaxed her body and leaned on both her elbows gently, and scooted nearer to Sakura’s face. 

Sakura is such a good looking angel Hyewon couldn’t help but to always admire his gorgeousness even it means to sacrifice her sleep. He has the brightest smile, a pair of brilliant eyes which reflect immeasurable love when he stares deeply into her orbs, and his adorable pinkish cheeks. She touched his nose with hers, rubbing softly, and then to his messy hair, greedily inhaling his scent. 

A ray of sunlight shone on her, illustrating the most peaceful drawing ever, of a beautiful, loving woman endearingly admiring her lover with her warmest smile in the most peaceful morning ever. 

Birds were chirping louder, she turned to the clock and gasped, ah not much time left! 

Leaving a soft kiss on his lips, she whispered him an I love you before rushing to the kitchen. 

Little grumpy-face Maru-chan lazily rubbing his body against Hyewon’s feet, back and forth. 

“Hey Maru-chan, what are you doing here?”

“Oh let me pour you some milk.”

She grabbed Maru-chan’s bowl from the cabinet and poured some milk in it, then serving it to him next to the kitchen counter. 

She ruffled his soft fur while he’s enjoying his breakfast, “You look just like your owner.”
