The man was sitting on the bed, his fingers busy typing on his laptop. 

His woman was sleeping so peacefully by his side. 

In the lazy afternoon, Maru-chan curled up on their blanket, drifting off to the dreamland. 

In the very same blanket was Hyewon, sleeping soundly while hugging her drumstick plushie.

It was rare to see Sakura at home at this hour.

His supervisor granted him the privilege to only return to office two days in a week and could spend the rest of his time working from home while taking care of his pregnant wife. 

Hyewon doesn’t usually sleep at this hour, she’ll probably be having her piano lesson or binge watching her favourite anime series. 

It was already two weeks after coming back from Yena’s place, she started to show more symptoms of bearing a child. She began to doze off more often than usual, and surprisingly undergoing weight loss because she could hardly have the urge to eat anything. Yet she was constantly trying her best to consume as much food as she could, to at least supply enough nutrients to the baby. 

Never knew eating could be one of her hardships. 

Also, from being a clingy wife to him, she evolved into an extra-clingy-plus-sulky little girl. To be really honest, Sakura embraced this change in her super gladly. 

Women in this stage too, often feel insecure and for that he wished to provide as much assurance to her as he could. 

That was why although the bed wasn’t the most ideal place to be productive, he chose to accompany her.
