Food poisoning.
Minseok's brilliant cooking (this didn't usually happen, but that one dish was a pure disaster) had given Jongdae food poisoning for four days.



The man was either cooped up in the bathroom or writhing with pain in bed, tossing the sheets around. The medicines prescribed made him drowsy, flitting in and out of sleep.
This left Minseok responsible for those four days.


The hybrid found himself ordering food every other day, cleaning the house and taking care of Jongdae. They even stopped bathing together - something that made Minseok really upset because he loved bathing with company, it helped ease his fears - and the only time they ever were together was at night as they slept.


I'm so sorry, Dae-dae,' Minseok sniffled, burying his face into Jongdae's shoulder as the male shifted to hug him closer.
'It's okay, baby,' Jongdae sighed. 'I'll be fine soon, don't worry.'
'But you're in pain because of me!' the hybrid wailed, calming down when the other thumbed at the base of his tail.
'Don't you worry about me,' Jongdae smiled, pressing a kiss to Minseok's forehead and nuzzling their noses together.
























Jongdae had woken up to the sounds of ticking, much to his irritation.
'
