Inspired by Foxilady's prompt of Jongdae taking Minseok to a real racecar event

'Are you excited for today, kit?' Jongdae asked, smiling when Minseok nodded enthusiastically.
'Will I get to ride them?' he asked, big eyes full of hope. Jongdae pursed his lips, linking his fingers with the smaller's.
'Not really, Minnie... but you'll get to see them up close, I promise.'

Minseok's ears flattened against his skull and he pouted, cradling his toy car in his lap and staring at it sadly.

Jogdae felt his heart shatter. He pressed a kiss to Minseok's temple, one of the silky ears comfortingly.

















'There's so many people!' Minseok exclaimed, tightly gripping Jongdae's arm and almost crawling into his lap when they found their seats.
'Not here, Minnie,' Jongdae shook his head, wrapping an arm around his lover - Minseok never really liked crowds as he was often intimidated by them.
'When will we see the cars?'
'Soon, baby. I promise.'


















Initially, Minseok was thrilled as he saw the cars driven out slowly as the racers waved out to the crowds. His ears were flat against his skull, brows knit into a frown thanks to the noise.
