Nineteen
Good TimesA/N: Inspired by (1) the picture embedded in the scene, (2) exoxide's prompt for Minseok in kitten-form and cuddles
It was cold, too cold that day.
Jongdae and Minseok were bundled up in thickly-padded coats lined with hot packs, their heads covered by matching beanies.
Jongdae was making dinner and was bustling about in the kitchen. He set the rice in the cooker and threw himself onto the couch, switching the television on and flipping through channels lazily.
He frowned as he heard some clanks resound from the kitchen, followed by a loud and pleased mewl.
'Min?' he called out, shuffling into the kitchen. 'What--- god, you're precious.'
Minseok had morphed into his kitten form, sitting up and leaning against the rice cooker. The kitten's eyes were closed, ears flickering and tail swaying as he let out a string of low purrs.
'Min?' Jongdae tried again, chuckling as he recorded a video.
Minseok took a deep breath, shuffling closer when Jongdae lifted the lid of the cooker.
'Ah, is it the smell of freshly-cooked rice again?'
Minseok purred again.
Minseok had developed this habit of sniffing freshly-cooked rice ever since he'd started living with Jongdae. The man had thought he'd stopped, but turns out it was triggered once more.
'Okay, it's time to eat now. Come on, Min.'
Minseok let Jongdae scoop him up, cradling him as if he were a fragile glass figurine and carry him to their bedroom.
