When JB came back the day after dropping Dune off. Everyone in the house knew that something was wrong, but they just thought it was something business related. But when Mark was about to leave to fetch Dune the next day, Jinyoung stopped him and said that JB had given Mark an urgent assignment. When Mark tried to protest, Jinyoung just shook his head, his eyes warning Mark. Everybody wonders why Dune suddenly wasn’t around anymore. But they did not have much time to think about it as JB suddenly turned into a workaholic and was in a constant foul mood

”She’s heartless.” Youngjae commented as a few of them were sitting in the lounge for a rare moment of rest.

“Not even replying to our texts.”

“Yeah ignoring our calls…” The room goes quiet as JB comes in.

.It reached a point where Jinyoung decided that he needed to step in and find answers.

“Where’s Dune.”

“She quit.” JB says after a long silence.

“What? Why?” The other shout.

“Did you shoot someone in front of her or something?”

“Of course not you idiot!”

“If it isn’t that then you should just apologize. Dune would forgive you.” Mark points out.

“Just shut up.” JB says as he leaves, needing time to think.

When Mark received the message from Dune. He was so excited, he sent a reply instantly, he tried to limit the questions he asked and hurried out. JB was sitting out by the lounge when Mark rushed by and stopped him.

“Where are you going?”

“Dune just messaged me.” Mark said excitedly. “She said there was some last bits of information that came in that might help us, I’m heading to her place now.” He said as he reached for the keys but JB’s hands were quicker
“I’ll go.”

Jinyoung having just witnessed this all pats a dejected Mark on the back. “I just hope he sorts out his own mess, or else life is going to be hell.”
