Galvanize - to shock or excite someone into taking action.

"Good job, Jennie. All your answers are correct," Yoona praised with a proud smile, prompting Jennie to smile back instinctively. She couldn't understand why Yoona's compliment had such a profound effect on her. It was just a small compliment, but to Jennie, it felt like a significant achievement.

"Thank you, Ms. Im," Jennie replied, bowing her head slightly before returning to her seat.

"Do you want me to help you?" she offered, noticing her boyfriend, Jongin, engrossed in his paper.

Jongin looked up and flashed a sweet smile at his girlfriend, shaking his head to decline her offer. "Thank you, babe, but I've got this," he reassured, returning to his task.

"Can you come over and watch me dance later? The cheerleaders and I are performing," Jennie asked, hoping Jongin would make time to support her.

"I don't think I can watch you later. The boys and I have a game to attend. You know how much I love playing," Jongin explained, causing Jennie's disappointment to show on her face.

She sighed and rolled her eyes at his response. Lately, it seemed like Jongin's computer games were taking up too much of his time, leaving Jennie feeling neglected. Jongin was usually supportive of her performances, but the recent lack of attention was beginning to strain their relationship.

Jongin put down his pen and took hold of Jennie's hand, relieved that she didn't pull away. "I'm sorry, baby. I know I haven't been able to give you much time lately. After the game, I promise to make it up to you," he pleaded, hoping to mend the situation. Jennie sighed, nodded, and smiled, appreciating his effort. Jongin sealed his apology with a gentle kiss on her hand.

As Jongin resumed working on his paper, Jennie watched him with a soft smile. Despite his flaws, she loved him dearly and understood that relationships required compromise and effort.

The class eventually ended, and Jennie prepared for her upcoming cheerleading performance. Changing into her uniform alongside her friends, she couldn't hide the gloom on her face. Her friends noticed her distress and inquired about what was bothering her.

"What's wrong?" Irene asked with concern, adjusting her top.

"Did your boyfriend dump you again?" Joy chimed in while tying her hair into a ponytail.

Jennie sighed deeply and explained the situation about Jongin's excessive gaming habits. Her friends listened attentively, offering support and advice.

"Next time, you should make him choose between you or those online games," Yeri suggested as she put on her shoes.

Jennie pondered the idea, recognizing the need for clearer boundaries in her relationship. "Maybe next time. Let's go! It's time to get in position on the field," she declared, ready to focus on the upcoming performance.

Her friends exchanged knowing looks, understanding the complexities of Jennie's situation. Although they disapproved of Jongin's behavior, they respected that Jennie's relationship was her own business.

As the cheerleaders headed to the field, they were greeted by the sight of eager students filling the bleachers. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as they prepared for their performance.

"Look at Seul, she's so cute," Irene exclaimed, admiring her girlfriend, Seulgi, who was wearing a bear onesie and holding a banner with Irene's name on it. The playful act drew laughter from the surrounding students

Lisa quickly distanced herself from Seulgi, jokingly stating, "She's not with me!" as Seulgi playfully proclaimed her love for Irene.

Jisoo, meanwhile, opted for a more reserved response, giving a supportive thumbs-up to her friends on the field.

"Jongin wouldn't do the same thing. I doubt he'll do anything like that today," Jennie added, her thoughts drifting to her own situation as she positioned herself for the performance.

The cheerleaders heard the screams from the bleachers and turned their attention towards the source of the noise. Jennie's heart raced as she saw her new teacher, Yoona, sitting with Wendy, holding a banner that read "JENNIE KIM FIGHTING!" Her eyes widened in surprise, and her cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and happiness. She couldn't believe Yoona had come to support her.

"Wow, is Jennie her favorite? She's being biased right now," Joy commented, a hint of envy in her voice.

"Joy;s right! Jennie Kim is so lucky!" Sana chimed in, wishing for Yoona's support as well.

Irene shook her head at her friends, urging them to focus on their performance instead.

"I don't think I can focus on performing; just look at her smiling at our direction," Yeri admitted, her gaze fixed on Yoona with admiration.

Wendy playfully rolled her eyes at her friends, urging them to concentrate.

Jennie's heart raced as she continued to perform, occasionally stealing glances at Yoona. The butterflies in her stomach only seemed to intensify, and a shy smile crept onto her lips every time she caught Yoona's eye. She couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of happiness that Yoona was there to cheer her on.

As the performance came to an end, Yoona stood up from her seat, applauding and cheering for Jennie. The students around her began to murmur, impressed by the teacher's enthusiastic support for Jennie.

Jennie's friends grinned at her, teasingly acknowledging her special treatment from their new teacher. Despite the teasing, they were all happy for Jennie and understood the excitement of having a teacher show such encouragement.

With the performance concluded, the cheerleaders made their way back to the cheerleaders' room, where the excited chatter continued. Jennie couldn't shake off the giddy feeling that Yoona's presence had left her with. As she changed back into her regular clothes, Irene couldn't help but .

"Seems like you've got a new fan, huh?" Irene grinned.

Jennie blushed, playfully nudging Irene. "Stop it! It's not like that."

"I think our teacher is liking our mandu," Wendy innocently mused, causing Jennie's blush to deepen. She turned away to hide her embarrassment, but her friends wouldn't let her off the hook so easily

"Wendy, you're unbelievable. Maybe she just wanted to cheer for her," Joy chimed in, giving Wendy a playful look.

"By bringing a banner with Jennie's name only?" Irene raised an eyebrow, emphasizing her point. "She and Seul did the same, except Seul wore an onesie while Ms. Im wore her suit."

"Or Jennie... do you guys know each other? Like, is she someone related to your family?" Yeri's curiosity led to another round of speculative questions from her friends.

Jennie finally turned back to her friends, facing their prying gazes. She shook her head with a small smile. "Nope, not related to me in any way. Stop assuming things, guys." She grabbed her bag, ready to change the subject.

"Let's go home!"

"Are you sure he's going to pick you up?" Lisa asked Jennie, who was the only one still at the school, as her friends started to get into their cars to go home.

Jennie smiled at Lisa, appreciating her concern. "Yup. He said he'll pick me up. You can go now."

Lisa still gave her a worried look, but Jennie reassured her that Jongin would indeed pick her up.

"Are you really sure?"

"Yup. Really sure, Lis! They're waiting for you already, so get your over there now," Jennie pointed at Lisa's car, and the other girls playfully urged Lisa to leave.

Lisa sighed, nodded, and waved goodbye to Jennie before getting into her car. The rest of the girls followed suit, bidding their farewells. Jennie laughed at their antics.

"Jennie!" Jennie turned around to see Seulgi and Irene walking towards her.

"What time will he pick you up?" Jennie gazes at her phone and smiled at Irene. "He'll be here in a minute."

"You sure he will not dump you again?" Seulgi teased, earning a nudge from Irene and an awkward chuckle from herself. "I didn't mean it that way."

Jennie laughed and shook her head. "It's all good. You two go on, or wherever you're heading."

"We'll go now. Call us if he doesn't show up, okay?" Jennie smiled at Irene and nodded.

As Seulgi and Irene walked away, Jennie found herself waiting patiently for Jongin to arrive. He had called earlier, promising to make it up to her by picking her up from school and taking her out to dinner.

She let out a deep sigh as she checked the time. It had been about 30 minutes since she started waiting.

Unbeknownst to Jennie, there was a car nearby, and its occupant was observing her. Yoona had heard from Hwang Jihoon that Jennie's boyfriend, Jongin, had called to pick her up for a date. Yoona shook her head at the students' romantic expectations, thinking that they sometimes put too much focus on love instead of themselves.

"Jongin sunbae said he's going to pick up Jennie sunbae and take her out on a date."

Yoona nodded and paid the money she owed to him. "Good job, kid."

She gazed at Jennie, who was growing increasingly impatient. I think it's my cue to go there. Yoona pulled the car over and stopped in front of Jennie. Jennie looked confused at the unfamiliar car, knowing it wasn't Jongin's. The car window rolled down, and her teacher signaled for her to come closer. Jennie's nervousness grew, and she cautiously approached the car.

"Get in. I will take you home."

Jennie was at a loss for words. Today had been overwhelming due to a certain someone named Yoona Im. Yoona raised an eyebrow, noticing Jennie's hesitation. She got out of the car and walked over to the girl, surprising Jennie.

"Get in," Yoona repeated, her smile coaxing Jennie into action.

The familiar feelings washed over Jennie once again. Yoona was right in front of her, holding the car door open. The scent that was undeniably Yoona's reached her nose, and she found herself drawn to it.

"Do you want me to carry you inside just to get you in?" Yoona's teasing words prompted Jennie to quickly enter the passenger seat. She couldn't deny that she was becoming more and more accustomed to Yoona's scent, finding comfort in its familiarity.

Yoona settled into the driver's seat and closed the door, glancing at Jennie, who was still looking down at her lap.

"For a beautiful girl like you, you shouldn't be the one waiting. It should be the other way around," Yoona remarked.

Jennie pursed her lips, unable to fully grasp Yoona's words because her scent was distracting her, invading her senses.

Sensing Jennie's unease, Yoona internally sighed. She's being hard to get.

"Are you uncomfortable around me? Because I feel bad for making you get into my car," Yoona asked sincerely, trying to gauge Jennie's feelings.

Jennie quickly looked up, shaking her head and waving her hands. "No, Ms. Im, it's not like that. I was just lost in thought. I'm sorry if I gave you that impression." Jennie's nervousness around Yoona was palpable.

"I've heard that students have been enjoying the pizza near the school. Would you like to go grab some with me?" Yoona asked, steering the car in that direction.

Jennie hesitated, torn between declining or giving in to Yoona's invitation. However, her stomach had other plans, letting out a loud rumble that made Yoona laugh.

Taking note of Yoona's smile, Jennie couldn't help but smile herself. She liked how Yoona's eyes squinted when she laughed. It was a contagious sight that brought warmth to her. Jennie wondered if this reaction was a good thing or if it was simply her getting too caught up in her teacher's presence.

"I'll take that as a yes then."

Throughout the car ride, Jennie remained quiet. Yoona thought it might be best to hold off on conversation for the time being and decided they could talk while eating. She was cautious not to overwhelm Jennie, not wanting to scare her away or make her uncomfortable.

When they arrived at the Pizza Café, Yoona gestured for Jennie to step out of the car. Jennie quickly did so, and Yoona felt a twinge of awkwardness.

Inside the café, Yoona guided Jennie to their seats and ordered the best-selling pizza. As they waited for their food, Yoona noticed Jennie's quiet demeanor and decided to address it.

"Are you okay, Jennie? You've been quiet since earlier."

Jennie looked up from her thoughts, gazing into Yoona's eyes. Those captivating eyes seemed to pull her in again. She wrestled with her feelings, wondering why she felt this way about Yoona.

Does this mean I like her? No way. I'm straight as a ruler. Maybe it's just admiration. Who wouldn't like her? She's amazing in so many ways. But, wait, did I just say I like her? No, no, I can't be.

Jennie pulled herself back from her internal debate, deciding to enjoy Yoona's company for now.

"You're making me worried," Yoona said, snapping Jennie out of her thoughts.

Jennie smiled softly, shaking her head. "I'm sorry. I was just hungry."

Yoona's smile indicated she was satisfied with Jennie's response. When the pizza arrived, Jennie eagerly dug in, while Yoona seemed to hesitate.

Observing Yoona's indecision, Jennie raised an eyebrow and playfully teased, "I think I passed on a virus to you. You're quiet now."

Yoona chuckled, shaking her head, and took a sip of water.

"Why aren't you eating?"

"I'm really full. If I eat more, I might throw up."

Jennie chuckled, finding Yoona's reasoning amusing. "Then why did you invite me for pizza if you're not going to eat any? You're missing out on life."

Yoona defended herself with a grin. "I'm already full just watching you enjoy it."

Jennie's mind was in turmoil after Yoona's unexpected words. The flattery she felt from Yoona's compliment had thrown her off balance, making her question her own emotions. She decided to confide in her friends about her feelings later.
