It was supposed to be a fun day.

Hanging out with his friends at the bowling alley.

Laughing along with the rest as namjoon dropped the ball when going to throw it down the lane.

Laughing along with the rest as seokjin did his traffic dance to distract jimin when it was his turn.

But he was the one distracted.

He kept thinking about what yoongi said this morning about kat.

"I hope she's okay?"

Hoseok said with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah I do to."

Why wouldn't she be okay?

Was she hurt?

Was someone she cared for hurt?

Whipping his head around towards the entrance yoongi was making his through jungkook watched wide eyed as kat walked in from behind him.

As they got closer jungkook's eyes widened even more.

Kat's eyes were slightly swollen and her nose was slightly red.

She had been crying.

Realizing this jungkook stood up.

Namjoon whispered almost in a warning way.

Looks like they all knew she had been crying.

"Guys, this is kat, kat this is the guys."

Yoongi said nonchalantly but jungkook could tell the low roughness in his voice was a warning.

'Do something bad to her and I'll beat you to a pulp.'

That was the warning.

"I'm sorry for intruding...i hope you don't mind too much."

Kat spoke almost in a whisper.

"No not at all! The more the merrier. I'm seokjin."

Seokjin smiled softly at her.

"By age he's the oldest but mentally he's the youngest. You already know me, it's nice to see you again kat."

"And I'm the greatest and most fabulous of all! Kim Taehyung."

"That's rude jimin."

"Anyways I'm hoseok but you can call me hobi."

Hoseok smiled brightly ignoring jimin's and taehyung's bickering.

Jungkook swore that if someone looked at him they would have assumed he ran all the way to the bowling alley.

He was sweating so much right now.

His trader of friends decided that they would switch seats and make kat and jungkook sat next to each other.

'What sounds good? Burger? Pizz- no no pizza that doesn't sound good right now. A burger does.'

Jungkook glanced around.

But he knew that voice.

'But where should I get the burger?'

Jungkook swore he was about to pass out from fear.

And then it hit him.

Hoseok's yell yanked him from his (and kats) thoughts.

"Are you okay? You look kinda pale and It's been your turn for a few minutes now, we've called you a few times."

"H-h-huh y-yeah I'm fine sorry."

Jungkook stood up from his seat and thanked God that he somehow didn't collapse.

'He'll probably get another strike. Wait a strike? A spare? A par? What the hell is it called?'

After his turn he pulled taehyung out of his seat and dragged him to the restroom.

Ignoring everyones confused calls.

Roughly shoving taehyung into one of the bathroom stalls jungkook looked at him wide eyed.

Time seemed to stand still.

"E-excuse me?"

"I. Can. Hear. Kat's. Thoughts."

And suddenly taehyung was smiling his boxy smile.

"Because now you'll be able to know what her opinion on you is."

Jungkook growled out cracking his knuckles making taehyung flinch.

"O-oh okay l-let me check j-just wait!!"

Taehyung whimpered pulling out his phone and messing with it.

Sighing in anger jungkook ran a hand over his face.

"What was the potion called? Do you know the seller?"

"It was called 'I can hear your thoughts' and no I don't know the seller, I told you I got it on Amazon, they have a lot of positive feedback so their trust worthy..."

Taehyung trailed off as jungkook's glare got harder.

He was doing something on his phone for a minute and jungkook was about to yell at him when he spoke.

"It says 'this potion will only wear off when the person who drank it has asked their crush on a date and is either accepted or rejected. But the rejection has to be by the crush saying they are not interested in you not by rejecting the offer by stating they are busy' ."
