Sakura came back from her date at exactly eight o’clock in the evening. She didn’t bother to greet both her and Minjoo’s parents. Instead, she went straight towards her bedroom, barging inside without knocking to which startled to partner a little bit.

The younger noticed that something was on her mind, judging from the frown on her face. She figured that something must’ve happened during her date with Chaewon, so with that, she decided to confront the Japanese about it.

“How was the date? With you like this, I’m guessing I won.” The brunette casually asked with a smirk and plops herself on their bed. The older girl whips her head and looked at her with those intimidating brown eyes. Those glints in her orbs made it impossible for Minjoo to read through her fiancée’s mind.

“We’re friends, right?” The grey haired girl questioned, tone filled with seriousness not bothering to answer the other. With that, the beauty straightened her back against the headboard with her head slightly tilted and nodded a yes.

Truth be told, the latter could feel her heart beating faster and faster as she felt quite intimidated with Sakura’s query and intent stare, who wouldn’t feel anxious?

“Then why do people think that we have feelings for each other? Why do they insist that there’s something going on between us? I get that we’re stuck in this arranged marriage together and it totally for the both of us but come on, we only see each other as friends. Nothing more, nothing less, right? Heck even Chaewon thinks we’re dating.” The cherry blossom clutched a handful of her hair in frustration, unknown to her, her companion was deeply hurt with the words that came out of .

“You don’t have feelings for me, right?” This time, the Japanese held her trembling hands. She had to control herself from recklessly letting her feelings out, and with the older holding her hands is not even helping at all.

“O-of course not.” Lie, and obvious lie. Within herself, Minjoo knows that she’s falling for Sakura, hard even. But she can’t just tell her that and confess right? Because she knew she stands no chance.

“Then why…”

“Look unnie, just let people think whatever they want to think, we know the truth ourselves. Stop over thinking about it, you’ve been doing that a lot lately and you know it’s doing you no good. Why don’t you just tell me how your date went, okay?” The brunette bit her lower lip while she tried to avoid the older’s gaze, afraid that the latter might see right through her.

With that being said, the Japanese’s eyes sparkled up once again, filled with enthusiasm and affection, she went through her eventful date with Chaewon one by one. What she didn’t notice is that despite the younger smiling, she was actually in the verge of breaking into tears.

However, the beauty still listened to her. Sure, she was hurt but even so, the mere sight of Sakura smiling like a love struck idiot is enough to make her smile as well, regardless if she’s the reason behind it or not.

“Oh and also, I told her you were my first kiss.” Hearing that, air got caught up in Minjoo’s throat. She was taken aback with the sudden revelation and she most certainly didn’t thought that the grey haired girl would spill the beans to anyone, let alone to her fairy crush.

“We kissed earlier, and she asked me if that was my first kiss or not so I said no. Chaewon asked who and I can’t lie to her about it.” The first sentence alone is enough to pull her sanity away. She was in an emotional distress a while ago but this one totally broke her heart and she felt betrayed.

Yesterday, the goddess herself told the raven about her feelings for the older but she didn’t think that they would be sharing a kiss a day after her confession. Although Minjoo knows that she shouldn’t feel this way, after all it is Chaewon that Sakura likes and not her however she couldn’t help but feel hurt.

Finishing their conversation, the brunette told her partner that she’ll be going to sleep to which the latter lets her do so while she go wash herself up. Tears unwillingly fell from eyes, she knew her chances with the cherry blossom were slim but now it just disappeared right in front of her eyes.

The day after that, school was back on and the short haired girl is feeling bubblier than normal. Contrary to what she’s feeling, her fiancée seems to be gloomier. It’s been hours and their lunch time came and yet she hasn’t spoken a single word.

“Minguri, are you alright?” Yuri asked her friend but instead of getting an answer, the latter buried her face in the crook of the younger’s neck.

The blonde was about to utter a word but then a certain raven called out to the distressed lass with a feeling of remorse in her eyes.

“Hey Yul can you give me and Minjoo a minute to talk?” The hamster like girl was very sharp with things like this and she immediately thought that something must’ve happened between the two. With that, Yuri pulled the older away from her arms and cupped her face as if asking if she should leave or not.

“It’s fine Yul, I’ll go find you later.” With that being said, the younger sighs in defeat before leaving them alone. The fairy sat in front of the brunette with an apologetic smile, from how the latter seems to be avoiding her, she assumed that the lass knew what had happened.

“Minjoo-ah I’m sorry.” The raven apologized with her head hung low and voice coated with guilt. Her fingers were fidgeting under the table while she waited for a reply.

“Do you like her?” It took the older a few moments before she responded with a nod and an apology right after, eyes still not daring to meet the other.

“It’s okay unnie, I just wished that you told me about it sooner. You shouldn’t feel bad because we like the same person, although can you do me a favor?” Chaewon was delighted upon hearing that, she eagerly nodded her head yes with their gazes now interlocked.

“Can we still keep this between us? I don’t want her to find out so let’s keep the act that I still like you. Also can you please tell that we don’t have to go on a date all three of us.” Minjoo was practically begging, well after all who would like to see your crush flirting with her crush right?

“Yeah it’s cool. So still friends?” The fairy said and extended her arms, with that, the younger forced a thin smile to from on her lips before reaching out to accept the lass’s hands despite the heavy feeling on her heart.

"So Unnie~" A certain giant baby cooed as she walks with her older cat-like friend.

Sakura answers with a hum while she walks forward not turning to look at the younger girl.

"How's your mission to court Chaewon-unnie?" Wonyoung asked as she matches the footsteps of her unnie.

Hearing Chaewon's name made the cherry blossom flinch ever so slightly as she remembers what happened the other night. She walks faster feeling the heat creeping up on her face making it harder for the younger to follow.

"What are you rushing for?" The latter grabs her unnie's shoulder, successful in making her stop. The maknae checks her watch before she speaks again.

"We still have 30 minutes left before lunch break is over." When Wonyoung looks up from her watch, she noticed a faint blush on her unnie's face and even with the slightest of hint, she jumps up excitedly. 

"Oh my ghadness! Judging from the looks of your face. Something definitely happened!" Sakura panics as the taller girl catches on her blush and drags the her away from the eyes of the student body.

The Japanese stood up awkwardly infront of Wonyoung while the latter couldn't suppress her grin. She knew that their maknae was quick-witted and smart but she was amazed at how quick she caught on with the faintest of blush.

"Unnie! We don't have all day!" Wonyoung stomps her foot ready to throw her baby tantrums just to force out the beans from her unnie.

Sakura looks around and wonders if she should tell Wonyoung about what happened, especially the kiss. She was proud and happy about the kiss, she'd want to do it again too but the feeling of sharing an intimate secret was causing her to hesitate. Although when she thinks about it, she didn't have a hint of hesistation when she told Minjoo about a secret she was embarassed to share. 

The grey haired girl ponders again and began to speak.

"We had a date yesterday, Chaewon and I." She started with the thing she was not embarrased to share, and continued to share about what happened throughout the date. She also purposely ommitted the 'kiss' that they shared because, Wonyoung was too young became her best argument
