Your "shallow crush" on Se Hun, whom you come across to everyday in the library, (as if a growing teenager like him can't find the enjoyment in life) is driving you nuts. He drew you close to his chest, and placed his warm arms protectively along your waist. Blushing, you hugged him tighter, similar to how a child would snuggle with her teddy bear.

Characters 

Choi Sun Hyun: Smart, cute ulzzang, wealthy... anyone would want to be in your shoes. Yet, you feel as though the world is a very deceiving place. Due to this, you tend to exclude yourself from the outer world, making you a very difficult person to approach; you suffer from mood swings. Even though you are mainly gifted at everything you do, your undying passion for rapping and dancing makes you one of the most popular girls in the school as well. Not only that, but you are a very musical person, being skilled at the piano, guitar, drums, bass and surprisingly the flute as well. You also possess a good taste in fashion, trending towards the more casual clothing. Many say you are a complete introvert, but you're just merely wary of the world.

Lu Han: The first person to ever approach Choi Sun Hyun. Might as well be her first love. Undoubtedly a very insensitive guy, though can be very honest with his feelings once he realizes them. Also the instructor that taught Sun Hyun to play the bass; a natural bass player, and is as musical as Sun Hyun is. Specializing in singing instead of rapping. A playboy, he fumbles around, flirting with every girl he catches his eyes with. Very intelligent as well; he pars with the talents of Sun Hyun, though he is the complete opposite of her personality-wise. 

Se Hun: The very mischievous, mysterious guy that Sun Hyun encounters in the library, busily (though randomly) fiddling with the computer. Yet Sun Hyun wonders why he's inside there instead of socializing with his buddies; but she found that very appealing about him. His family background: Korean, Canadian, Japanese-born. Since he is a transfer student from Japan, his IQ is relevantly high, meaning he attained the top three spots. Athleticism is his friend; extremely hard-working when it comes to his specialized sport, baseball. Unapproachable just like Sun Hyun is, but once he laid eyes on that particular girl, his heart started to bring life into him; Sun Hyun: a heart throb for him. Eyes totally glued to her. 

Kim Jong In (Kai): Lu Han's, Sun Hyun's, Se Hun's... wait... he's everyone's friend. Very mathematical nerd, though he purposely acts childish in order to fit in with the crowd; very gifted in dancing as well, specializing in many fields. Very charismatic when he performs; can send many heart-melting glares. Many fan girls wanting to even catch a glimpse of him; a very entertaining kiddo. He is strongly attracted to Sun Hyun, though he repeatedly denies it; your typical confused guy. Though his playfulness manipulates him most of the time, he protects a girl's delicate feelings and remains his good old self even after an awkward confession of love. 

Krystal Jung: Se Hun has been her childhood crush ever since. The girl who has been very close acquaintances with Se Hun. She is Se Hun's wife through an arranged marriage by their parents. Though sarcastic and harsh at times, she is really a kind-hearted, innocent girl; very sweet and gentle towards Sun Hyun and Se Hun. Cooking is one of her best friends, and she's hoping to be one of the world's renowned chef someday. With a very independent personality, she is a very motherly figure and can easily offer advices as if she's an experienced expert. Though she is matured, her heart yearning for the experience of love proves that she is still young at heart. 

Kim Hyun A (HyunA)-- A best friend of Sun Hyun; the type to never betray true friendship no matter what. Very hardcore. Ability to make guys drool with her undeniable dancing and rapping abilities: the total combo with Sun Hyun. A dance partner of Kai; immediately catches herself falling for him after all these years of experiencing applause and sweat along with Kai. Goes for the hip hop trend; leader of a dance team along with Kai. Desperately wants to be in a relationship with Kai; but cannot bring herself to do so: aware of the fact that Kai is in love with Sun Hyun. Though she can be fierce and aggressive, she is still a youthful, cheerful girl inside; never fails to send people chills down their spine once they encounter her harsh, outside personality. Anti-social just like Sun Hyun, though more threatening.
