Jeonghan couldn’t sleep. It was 3am and too warm in his apartment and he hated the new blinds covering the windows. He hated the new door that was thick and heavy and solid. He missed the city lights and the glow through the glass panelled door and most of all he missed control over the changes to his apartment.

 

He couldn’t stop thinking about his new bodyguard’s broad shoulders and his muscular arms.  He was fascinated by the man’s immunity to his charms. It wasn’t even fun to . Jeonghan had a never ending thirst for teasing his manager. Even though they’d worked together for years and Jeonghan mostly just saw Jisoo as like a brother the other man still crumbled into a blushing mess from Jeonghan’s teasing. But no matter how hard he tried Seungcheol just smiled politely and ignored any effort on Jeonghan’s part to embarrass him or make him blush.

 

He grabbed his phone as he got out of bed and padded barefoot across his bedroom floor. Items of clothing and other various mess scattered across the thick luxurious carpet and he kicked a few things out the way as he pulled a pair of shorts on over his boxers. He wanted to go for a walk and get some fresh air. He wanted to go to the 24hr convenience shop on the corner and get some chocolate. He wanted to get out of the stuffy oppressive apartment that felt like it was closing in on him. He was going to get in trouble either way so he scrolled through his contacts and found Seungcheol’s number.

 

He rang and rang and finally Seungcheol picked up after a few minutes. “Jeonghan Sir? Is there something wrong?” Jeonghan felt himself go weak at the sound of his bodyguard’s heavy sleepy voice. “Yeah something is wrong. Cheollie I can’t sleep.” Jeonghan almost fluttered his lashes but realised Seungcheol couldn’t see him. He heard a heavy sigh. “Try and drink some warm milk.”

 

“But Cheollie I don’t have any and I want to go out for a walk to the store and get some and I know if I go out without you then I’ll get in trouble.” He heard soft breathing on the other end of the line before Seungcheol answered. “Can’t you just go back to bed Jeonghan?” Jeonghan shook his head as his long hair grazed his bare shoulders. “Nope. I want to go out for a walk and get some milk. If you’re not here in half an hour I’m going by myself.”

Chapter 62: Interesting how that whole "relationship exposure" seemed to have blown over a bit after just declining to comment on it.

Haha, Jeonghan being an accidental matchmaker. Guess Seungkwan is gonna love yoga! Seokmin can't hold a note (in this universe) so he got into sports, that's a funny thought. Very cute drabble. ^^

Chapter 61: A sweet end with a sweet new kitten. Jeongcheol's love is lovely. ♡ Good to see Jisoo has new priorities and a life of his own beyond Jeonghan now, too. I really enjoyed reading.

Chapter 60: All's well that ends well. They're all safe and secure and surrounded by good people who they adore and appreciate.

Chapter 59: As reckless as it may have been, if Seungcheol had stayed out, it may not have ended so easily. Commanding someone unhinged to surrender is a long-shot. He may have hurt Hannie and/or himself instead, knowing he was cornered. Cheol sneaking in bypassed that chance, thankfully, so nothing worse could happen.

Now, aside from the media, they can get some peace. Being publicly outed and their relationship exposed seems like nothing they can't handle now.

Chapter 58: Damn, he almost escaped. Being tased a second time and falling down the stairs though, . He could be seriously hurt. Definitely need some outside intervention now. Hopefully they take Hansol by surprise though, so he can't hold Jeonghan as a hostage.

Chapter 57: Oh, he's that kind of crazy. The type where you almost feel sorry for him. He really lives in a delusional world where he'll get his way after all this and live happily ever after with Seungkwan somehow. When in reality, best case scenario is he'll be kept in a mental institution somewhere.

Jeonghan certainly isn't the damsel in distress, he's smart and crafty too. Even while slightly injured. Maybe he will get himself out of this situation before anyone else can save him.

Chapter 56: Yeah, that definitely wasn't the time and place for a Jisoo/Mingyu moment. They were so damn room-illiterate it's shocking.

But what matters is that Seungcheol is pissed off and determined, so there's no doubting he will do what he said and bring Hannie home.

Chapter 55: The only thing worse than a psycho stalker creep that makes threats is a clever psycho stalker creep who follows through on threats. It's a relief if there wasn't actually a bomb and he really meant it when he said he wouldn't hurt Jeonghan. Though tasing someone certainly seems to go against that. But he really went to the lengths of basically domestic terrorism and kidnapping to support his idol. Ffs.

Chapter 54: So it's the (relative) calm before the storm. As ed up as it is to have your personal life exposed like that, not completely on your own terms, guess there's something in the idea that genuine fans will stick around and he'd lose the toxic ones. Ironically, maybe gain a bit more freedom than other idols. Being unashamed of being in a relationship, and with a man at that. (Thankfully/sadly, because it's fiction, we can believe it will be more accepted.)

Just. Hopefully once that creep sees he has no power, he will give up. Not escalate to something more dangerous.

Chapter 53: "Junhui, who was really feeling himself dressed in Jeonghan's Gucci," hahaha, Junnie making the best of the situation.

Speaking of, looks like Mingyu and Jisoo know how to do that too! Didn't take them long lol. Just a little wine for bravery maybe.
