Seungcheol held his hand out. He didn’t even think about it. It was a reflex now and Jeonghan accepted it without reservation. It was a silent signal between the two. The sign of safety and reassurance. 

 

Seungcheol squeezed Jeonghan’s hand tight as he pulled him from the bed and out into the living room. Jeonghan looked around for the kitten and smiled when he saw the fat little baby waddling after them. 

 

“Thank you.” Jeonghan’s words were quiet and unexpected. He smiled gently and Seungcheol stared as he lost himself in how beautiful Jeonghan looked. In the morning light streaming in through the open blinds he looked ethereal and gentle and heartbreakingly sad. Seungcheol felt that feeling again, the stirring of his protective instinct, and he wondered how many facets of his personality Jeonghan was going to show him today. 

 

Seungcheol thought that this one, the sad and vulnerable Jeonghan, was the most real and genuine. And he suddenly didn’t know how to deal with that. 

 

“Cheollie?” Jeonghan said and Seungcheol realised he had been spacing out. “I’m sorry Cheollie. I know I’m a lot to deal with. And I can be kind of over dramatic sometimes.”

 

Really?

Do you think?

 

 

Seungcheol wanted to roll his eyes but he was shaken when Jeonghan sniffed a little. A single tear formed in the corner of his left eye and when he turned to face Seungcheol it sparkled like a diamond as the early sun hit it. “Please don’t cry...” Seungcheol reached out and drew his thumb across Jeonghan’s cheek, wiping the sparkling blight from his perfect visage, and Jeonghan turned towards him and smiled. “Seungcheol I...”

 

“Hey!” The door flew open and Jisoo walked in looking even more frazzled than when he left. “You came out! I mean, from the bedroom...” Jeonghan smiled at Seungcheol before he got up and walked over to a surprised Jisoo. “I’m sorry for my behaviour Jisoo. I shouldn’t behave that way when you’re just doing your job. And doing such a great job.” He swung his arms around Jisoo’s neck and hugged him tight before pecking a kiss on the other man’s cheek.

 

“Ah, thanks Jeonghan....” Jisoo stuttered and blushed at the sudden affection. “Ah, could you maybe get ready, please? We have to be at the photo shoot in an hour.” “Sure!” Jeonghan chirped happily as he spun away from Jisoo and headed back into his room to shower.

Chapter 62: Interesting how that whole "relationship exposure" seemed to have blown over a bit after just declining to comment on it.

Haha, Jeonghan being an accidental matchmaker. Guess Seungkwan is gonna love yoga! Seokmin can't hold a note (in this universe) so he got into sports, that's a funny thought. Very cute drabble. ^^

Chapter 61: A sweet end with a sweet new kitten. Jeongcheol's love is lovely. ♡ Good to see Jisoo has new priorities and a life of his own beyond Jeonghan now, too. I really enjoyed reading.

Chapter 60: All's well that ends well. They're all safe and secure and surrounded by good people who they adore and appreciate.

Chapter 59: As reckless as it may have been, if Seungcheol had stayed out, it may not have ended so easily. Commanding someone unhinged to surrender is a long-shot. He may have hurt Hannie and/or himself instead, knowing he was cornered. Cheol sneaking in bypassed that chance, thankfully, so nothing worse could happen.

Now, aside from the media, they can get some peace. Being publicly outed and their relationship exposed seems like nothing they can't handle now.

Chapter 58: Damn, he almost escaped. Being tased a second time and falling down the stairs though, . He could be seriously hurt. Definitely need some outside intervention now. Hopefully they take Hansol by surprise though, so he can't hold Jeonghan as a hostage.

Chapter 57: Oh, he's that kind of crazy. The type where you almost feel sorry for him. He really lives in a delusional world where he'll get his way after all this and live happily ever after with Seungkwan somehow. When in reality, best case scenario is he'll be kept in a mental institution somewhere.

Jeonghan certainly isn't the damsel in distress, he's smart and crafty too. Even while slightly injured. Maybe he will get himself out of this situation before anyone else can save him.

Chapter 56: Yeah, that definitely wasn't the time and place for a Jisoo/Mingyu moment. They were so damn room-illiterate it's shocking.

But what matters is that Seungcheol is pissed off and determined, so there's no doubting he will do what he said and bring Hannie home.

Chapter 55: The only thing worse than a psycho stalker creep that makes threats is a clever psycho stalker creep who follows through on threats. It's a relief if there wasn't actually a bomb and he really meant it when he said he wouldn't hurt Jeonghan. Though tasing someone certainly seems to go against that. But he really went to the lengths of basically domestic terrorism and kidnapping to support his idol. Ffs.

Chapter 54: So it's the (relative) calm before the storm. As ed up as it is to have your personal life exposed like that, not completely on your own terms, guess there's something in the idea that genuine fans will stick around and he'd lose the toxic ones. Ironically, maybe gain a bit more freedom than other idols. Being unashamed of being in a relationship, and with a man at that. (Thankfully/sadly, because it's fiction, we can believe it will be more accepted.)

Just. Hopefully once that creep sees he has no power, he will give up. Not escalate to something more dangerous.

Chapter 53: "Junhui, who was really feeling himself dressed in Jeonghan's Gucci," hahaha, Junnie making the best of the situation.

Speaking of, looks like Mingyu and Jisoo know how to do that too! Didn't take them long lol. Just a little wine for bravery maybe.
