At some point during the time I first posted that I was going to embark on this project, it was like writing to a wall. Sure, I was happy that views were going up, but it felt like there were lesser and lesser people on AFF as compared to before, and I was thinking to myself, hang in there, those readers are out there somewhere, just waiting for a story to compel them to emerge from their little corners.

To think that I almost abandoned this project makes me a little nostalgic, and I am so glad I didn’t, because this is the fastest-finished novel I’ve had. I started in May this year, and went on and off and on and off for a few months, maybe a chapter every fortnight or more, and I only began picking the rhythm when October came, and that was because of NaNoWriMo and most importantly, because of you.
