This place is definitely where I feel the safest. It isn’t just a normal Mansion with just the massive gate, it’s a whole damn forest. Secured that no one can enter other than relatives and close friends. Bomi and I passed the gates but still had to take a good long ride to reach the main grounds. 

Soon we felt someone plunged on Eunji’s car roof. As expected, I haven’t been home for so long so this is totally normal but it isn’t the welcome Bomi expected for she did flinch at the sudden surprise. “I’m sorry about that, it must be one of my.. siblings.”

“Open up!” That would be Jiyoon. I did as told and open the backseat windows for Jiyoon to jump right inside the moving vehicle. “Damn her scent is really-”

“Don’t scare her, Jiyoon. Is dad home?” I asked but as soon as I look at my side, it scared me to death to see Jiyoon sniffing on Bomi’s neck. “What the hell, Jiyoonie!”

Bomi back from the terrifying incident in the old factory, I expected her to be shaking and shedding tears of fear but surprisingly she’s not. “She’s cute.” Bomi said ruffling Jiyoon’s hair like it’s her very own little sister. “You’re one of the good vampires?” Bomi asked her and Jiyoon could only laugh at the statement she heard.

“Yes, I’m a good vampire! Oh, we’ve been waiting for you.” Jiyoon said as she sit right back and continued, “And Yes Chorong unnie, dad is here.”

It’s good that he’s here, I need to talk to him about my plans. And I needed it to be quick but as soon as we finally entered the hall, I saw my family lined up and smiling at the sight of Bomi.

“Good morning, Yoon Bomi.” my father greeted her as he held her hands, I knew he’s studying her heart whether she brings good or bad energy. His given gift is really weird. 

Everyone in the room knows what he’s doing except for Bomi who’s just there standing still and not knowing what to do next.

“She’s good.” my dad speak his thoughts and as my mother heard it, she walks to their direction and hugged Bomi.

“Oh you’re holding her for so long honey, she must be scared of vampires.” 

“I’m not, Mrs. Park. It's fine.” I can see Bomi returning the hug and it melts my heart to see her right now with my family as they welcome her with such warmth despite our cold bodies. 

In this family the only purebloods are me and my parents, my so called siblings are adopted by my father as they either lost their family or just a random vampire left by their creator. As long as their heart is good, my father doesn’t even have to think twice into taking them in and train them to be our own.

“Hi, I’m Subin! And this is Seungwoo!” my brothers introduced themselves and I already know what they’re about to do. Bomi is warm, they'll definitely go for it. “Can we get a hug?” they asked (oh, I knew it) but didn’t wait for Bomi’s answer and instead hug her in an instant. 

“Tss. Now that’s too much, this is my human.” I told them pulling her away and I felt Bomi tighten her grip on my hand. 

“They’re really lovely, don’t worry about me too much.” Bomi said in her thoughts and it amaze me how much she’s learning.

I continued looking at her as I nod in agreement, at least she knows that she’s in a safe place right now and that everything will be okay as long as we stay in my father’s premises.

“She really do love the human, look at the way she looks at her honey.” I am surprised to hear my mom’s thoughts, “Bomi seems to like her just as much too.” and my dad’s. Now it’s making me feel a little embarrassed at the flirting Bomi and I just did. I guess I’ll always be that little princess in their eyes.

“I know what y’all are doing! Stop stop.” Jiyoon said talking about the pureblood thing with thoughts. I must say having her in this house sure lighten up the atmosphere of this place, she’s just like Bomi.

“Bomi? Would you mind helping me for breakfast?” my mother offered that Bomi gladly accepts. Suddenly I felt bad knowing that she probably will miss her own mom after this cooking, but also afraid that she’ll leave and choose to just go back and live her life instead. She may have said that she really wanted to stay with me all over again but I can’t help it, I worry a lot when it’s about her.

After having breakfast with the family, my father hosted this marathon with us siblings where him and mom would stand on opposite ends of this whole forest and we run back and forth. 

“What do we get when we win?” Subin asked now feeling the competitiveness in his soul.

“Blood?” my father answered and everyone stretches and position themselves in front of our dad as my mom sprinted to the other end.

“As long as Chorong unnie doesn’t join, it’s a fair battle.” Jiyoon stated and I really don’t feel like joining as I’d rather stay with Bomi and watch the whole thing. 

“Do you want to go to the tower? I don’t know if you’ll actually get to see the game but the view up there is so much better.” I told Bomi as she smiled and said yes. “Come.” I offered my back for her to hop in and I’m gl
