Jeongyeon's POV

As Nayeon was hugging me, I couldn't help but let the tears I had been holding back fall. How I missed her touch and warmth and how I always felt at ease when she was near. Even now, my heart beat insanely fast and my hands grew sweaty. She had this way of making me turn into jelly. 

Jeongyeon hugged Nayeon back and that only made Nayeon's budding feelings grow. Nayeon became scared. She didn't know if she could give Jeongyeon the love and care that she deserved and she felt so guilty for hurting her all these years. Yet, she couldn't help but hope to never let Jeongyeon go.

"Nayeon, I've been thinking of what to say to you and I'm still flabbergasted. I still don't understand myself, but I know I don't wanna lose you."-Jeongyeon

Nayeon gripped Jeongyeon tighter.

"Jeongyeon-ah, I don't want to lose you. I'm sorry for not noticing all your pain. Please forgive me. I miss us."-Nayeon

Jeongyeon hugged Nayeon and patted her head. 

"Silly, you know it was my fault for not telling you sooner and letting it build up. I miss us too."-Jeongyeon

"So what now?"-Nayeon

"I've done some thinking and through this time apart I began to throw those feelings of love away for you. It's better for the sake of our friendship and our group if we go back to how things are and pretend this didn't happen"-Jeongyeon

As Jeongyeon said that, Nayeon's chest tightened. Those weren't the words she wanted to hear. But who was she to do anything given that she hurt Jeongyeon so much. Nayeon thought to herself that as long as she could remain by Jeongyeon's side, then everything would be fine. 

"You're right dummy, I missed my Yoostrich. Friends it is. Who knows maybe I can help you find a girlfriend"-Nayeon said with a fake smile as she held in her true feelings. Jeongyeon laughed and smiled at Nayeon

"Thanks unnie. But I'm not looking for anyone right now. You and the girls are enough trouble already"-Jeongyeon said as she broke the hug and started running away. 

"Yah. You idiot come back! I'll kick your "_Nayeon said as she ran after Jeongyeon and the two just chased after each other. Nayeon accepted what Jeongyeon wanted, but she couldn't help feeling sad and disappointed. Nayeon thought she would do as Jeongyeon wanted because Jeongyeon was right. Nayeon didn't know if she could provide Jeongyeon with what she deserved. This was for the best.

The two clueless fools ran all the way back to the apartment and the rest of Twice was in the living room surprised as to how Nayeon and Jeongyeon were getting along. Time passed and the group practiced extremely hard and it came time for their comeback. Jeongyeon was co
