Word Vomit
Time For ChangeSorry it took a while. I've sort of lost interest to write fics and all that, but suddenly, an idea came to me and I had to write it. Also, this chapter has been unfinished for a really long time, I only needed some finishing touches. Hope you like it and I am so sorry for the delay.
Hyesung ran to the hospital reception, Eric behind him, and bombarded the poor receptionist with questions about his brother and what had happened and if he was okay. “He just fell and sustained some bruises.” Hyesung sighed and once he learned which room Junjin was in, he ran toward the way.
“Jinnie!” Hyesung hugged the man. “What the hell happened?” He took a notice that Sumin was nowhere to be seen, but he wouldn’t bring that out now, as Junjin was hurt.
“Well, don’t get all mad at me,” Junjin began. “I was dared to do something idiotic, and I did it and fell and scratched my skin while doing it.” he explained. Then he noticed Eric. “Oh, who is that?” Junjin gestured toward the man.
“Oh, this is Eric,” Hyesung smiled. “Eric, my stupid little brother Chungjae, Chungjae, Eric,”
The two nodded at one another. “So, how did you end up here?” Hyesung crossed the arms over his chest and glared at his brother . He was expecting to hear that Sumin was nothing he expected her to be but he was right, unfortunately.
“Well, Sumin had disappeared somewhere, but some nice passer-by called the ambulance, and here we are.” The nurse quit putting stitches to the quite terrible looking scar. Junjin thanked her and she left, telling it was okay for them to leave. “Did…did Andy hear about this?” Junjin asked.
Hyesung shook his head. “We haven’t told anyone.”
“Junjin?!” Andy yelled suddenly when he stepped to the room. “What…?”
A big wide smile appeared to Junjin’s lips when he saw Andy at the doorway. “You came!” he was ecstatic.
"I came to see my father. What are you—hello,” Andy noticed Eric. “I’m Andy.” Junjin pouted when the man noticed the new handsome man. “You must be Eric. I have heard so much about you.” Andy smiled. “I am Hyesung’s—”
“Best friend, yes, I have heard so much about you too,” Eric grinned.
Junjin scoffed loudly and everyone looked at him. “I am fine. No need to show concern.” he said sarcastically.
“Great,” Andy tapped him to the bruised arm. “I need to go. I came to see my father, and then saw you…well, have a nice evening.” Andy bowed and walked off, looking over his shoulder at Junjin, who scoffed again.
“Hyung,” Junjin stood up. “Let’s get out of here,” he walked out filled with annoyance.
Hyesung blinked his eyes and looked at Eric. “I guess we have to go,” he shrugged.
“Thanks…” Minwoo whispered when the lawyer brought him something to calm him down. “I didn’t see anything. I was completely useless. I just stood there holding a weapon, while the person was looking for something.” he sighed, and grunted when he moved suddenly and the spot where the assailant had kicked him hurt.
“Are you okay?” Dongwan frowned.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine,” Minwoo smiled. “God…” he covered his face. “What would they look for here?”
“Anything incriminating. Anything to do with me. Anything to show you in bad light.” Dongwan listed. “The list goes on.”
Minwoo nodded. He knew that the intruder belonged to Byunghoon’s team, but there was no way he could prove that. He didn’t have evidence, not that he knew of at least, and no one would believe him if he brought it out. So, he wasn’t going to. It would’ve been bad.
“Thanks for coming here…” Minwoo murmured. “I…” he was about to touch Dongwan’s hand but hesitated. “But I am fine now.”
“Yeah…I…I should go.” Dongwan stood up. “I…Minwoo…sshi.”
They stared at one another. And the space between them got smaller and smaller. Minwoo wanted nothing more than show Dongwan that he didn’t want him to disappear from his life. But then reality hit them and Dongwan retreated. “I should go.” Minwoo hummed. “I am sorry…about this. But the best form of revenge…is winning this case.”
“Yes,” Minwoo nodded. “I agree.”
“Bye,” Dongwan said.
“Bye,” Minwoo responded.
Manse was still asleep. Thank god, Minwoo thought. Just the thought of him being kidnapped or taken from Minwoo made his skin crawl. And a shadowy figure, just watching him like that. Minwoo shuddered. Whatever they were looking for, they would not find. Minwoo wasn’t a bad person. He had done nothing wrong.
“Best revenge…is to win this case…” he murmured out loud.
“Sorry, this wasn’t a night to remember,” Hyesung apologised when he stood in front of his house door. “If I had known Junjin would misbehave, I wouldn’t have asked you on a date tonight,” he added sadly.
“Hey,” Eric lifted the face up by the chin. “I had fun. I got to meet your brother and your best friend,” he smiled. “And it was nice seeing you so worried. You’re a nice person, Shin Hyesung.” he was leaning in.
Hyesung closed his eyes. The kiss lasted for a moment, and when Eric retreated, Hyesung whispered, “You can still come inside if you want to…”
“I want to,” Eric nodded. “But I think you need to talk to your brother…” he chuckled.
“I’m gonna murder him…” Hyesung scoffed. “Will you call me?”
“As soon as I’m
