Chapter 6

“What?” Yoona asked again with a puzzled face.

“You asked who would wanna date you and I just answered truthfully,” Krystal said calmly.

Yoona blushed, “I’m not so sure what you mean by that…”

Krystal noticed the girl was getting a bit shy, “But only if I was into you”

Yoona’s eyebrows raised, “So… you’re not into me?”

The latter chuckled and shook her head, “No”

“Well for now” Krystal mumbled.

“Huh?”

“Nothing” She laughed.

“Stop teasing me” Yoona pouted.

“I’m not teasing you” Krystal grinned.

“Stop pouting, you’re so adorable” She reached out to pinch Yoona’s cheek but the latter continued to pout.

“I’m going to punch you for being so cute”

“How nice of you”

Krystal giggled, “You know I would never do that”

“Who knows”

She shook her head and continued to eat her fro-yo.

“I’ll take you back now. It’s getting late”

“Aw, we are going home already?”

“Yes, you need to rest”

“I don’t wanna rest, I’m not tired”

“Why are you so stubborn” She shook her head.

Yoona chuckled, “Stay at my apartment for a bit. It gets a bit lonely”

Krystal smiled, “Sure”

While driving back to Yoona’s apartment,

“Hey Krystal, you have many friends don’t you?”

“Well, I guess”

“Guy friends?”

“Yeah, I have a few, why?”

“Could you… hook me up with someone?”

Krystal immediately denied her request, “No!”

“Sorry, I-I mean they aren’t even handsome, why would you want to date them?”

“What do you mean? I see your posts on Instagram and they are all so hot, especially the guy that dances really well”

Krystal frowned, “You mean Kai?”

“Kai? Yeah, he’s really cute”

“No he’s not, I’m way cuter”

Yoona giggled, “Of course you are, but I can’t date you”

The latter bit her lips, “Why..?”

“You’re a girl Krystal” Yoona laughed.

“Yeah... that’s right”

“So, could you hit me up with some of your cute guy friends? I would like it if you did Kai specifically”

“We’ll see...”

 

After they had arrived at Yoona’s place, she got out of the car.

“What are you doing? Aren’t you coming with me?”

“No, it’s fine”

“Why? I thought you were coming into my apartment?”

“It’s late now, I should just go home”

“Aww, are you sure?”

“I don’t want to bother you”

“You’re not a bother to me”

Krystal forced a smile, “It’s fine, I’ll see you on Monday alright?”

“Okay then, night Krystal”

“Goodnight Yoona”

 

The next morning, Yoona texted Yuri if she is okay after the party.

“Good Morning Yuri”

“Morning Yoona”

“How are you?”

“I’m fine, my head just hurts a bit and I had finished puking a minute ago”

“Aish, how much did you drink?”

“Not that much”

“Yeah right”

“Hehe maybe just a lot”

“I would take care of you if I was with you right now (facepalm emoji)”

“Aww that’s sweet”

“Go drink some water and rest your head”

“I’ll do that right now”

Yoona smiled at her screen and got up to get ready. While the girl was cooking her breakfast, her phone had rung.

“What do you want Jessica?” Yoona answered annoyed.

“Hey Yoona, I’m so bored at home. Can I come over?”

“It’s Sunday though… I want to relax and waste my day”

“Whatever, I’m almost there”

“Huh? Almost where?”

“To your place silly”

“You’re already driving?!”

“Yeah, I’ll see you in 5 minutes, see ya”

Before Yoona could even reply back, the latter had ended the call. She already felt exhausted knowing Jessica was visiting soon.

 

When Yoona opened the door, she saw her best friend stand in front of her with a couple of bags of food.

“Why aren’t you excited to see?” Jessica reached out for a hug.

“Omo, you brought food?” She hugged back.

“Aish, it that what you only care about?”

Yoona snatched the bags off of Jessica’s hands, “You can leave now, bye” She chuckled.

“Yah! So rude” Jessica finally took a step into the place.

“I’m just joking, come in” She dragged the girl inside.

 

“What do you want to do? My house is even more boring than yours” Yoona exclaimed.

“Let’s watch a movie”

“Sure, find a movie on Netflix while I prepare the food”

While watching the movie and munching down on food, Yoona had suddenly remembered,

I was supposed to call Yuri today. -Yoona thought.

“Yuri, are you feeling a bit better now?” She texted.

After a couple of minutes, Yuri replied, “Yeah, I am. Thank you for asking (smiling emoji)

“Don’t worry I gotchu. Will you be able to call today?”

“Oh yeah, I wouldn’t want to miss out on that”

Yoona smiled, “What time?”

“Now?”

“I’m currently with my friend. How about tonight”

“Okay”

 

“Who are you texting?” Jessica asked as she glances over at Yoona’s phone.

“My internet friend”

“You seem really happy when you text her”

“She makes me smile a lot”

Jessica smirked, “May it be perhaps you… like her?”

“As a friend” Yoona played it off cooly.
