Chapter 1

Yoona’s class finally ended and had immediately walked out of the building before she could socialize with anyone. As always, she found herself passing by at least 4 couples while trying to walk towards her car. Yoona released a tired sigh and entered her vehicle. She rested against her driver seat and closed her eyes until she had received an unexpected call from one of her close friends.

“Hello?”

“Hey Yoona, sorry to bother but I wasn’t able to find you after class so I decided to call you instead”

“Don’t worry about it, what’s up?”

“So I have a friend that’s willing to go out with you” Jessica spoke in a slight excitement tone.

“Really?” Yoona quickly sat up from her slouching position.

“Yes!”

“What’s their name?”

“Taecyeon, I’ll send you a picture of him right now and if you’re interested then I can set you guys up for a date”

Yoona heard her notification bell. She tapped on the message and stared at the photo.

“What do you think?”

“He’s really handsome”

“If you think his face is handsome, you should wait and see his body”

Yoona blushed, “Jessica! What are you saying?” She shyly chuckled.

“So are you interested?”

“Yes,” She unhesitantly answered.

“Great! When are you free?”

“This weekend should be fine”

“Alright, I’ll ask him about it. I’ll call you later then, ok? Bye~”

“Thank you, see ya”

The call ended leaving Yoona smiling happily while looking at Taecyeon’s photo.

Suddenly, she saw Jessica’s text message.

Jessica: He said he’s free this Friday.

Yoona: Sounds good.

Jessica: Great, then you two will meet at the coffee shop near our university. I’ll give you his phone number.

Yoona: Okay.

Jessica: Have fun (smiling emoji)

Yoona: Thank you (blushing emoji)

One week later,

That Friday afterschool, Yoona waited patiently at the coffee store for her date. While taking a sip of her coffee, she heard her phone ring.

“Hello?”

“Hey Yoona, where are you?” She heard a man’s attractive voice.

“I’m at the coffee shop right now, how about you?”

“I’m on my way, just a few minutes. Sorry to make you wait” He apologized.

“No, please don’t be”

He chuckled, “Alright, I’ll see you then, bye”

“Bye,” She smiled.

As he said, a few minutes later, Yoona found a tall figure had entered the shop. He smiled right at her and made his way towards the girl.

“Hey, I’m Taecyeon” He introduced with his hand out.

“I-I’m Yoona” She stood up and shyly shook his hand.

“You’re pretty just as the pictures Jessica showed me” He complimented.

Yoona blushed, “I could say the same”

He grinned in response.

“Could I get an iced coffee” Taecyeon ordered.

“For sure” The waiter said.

“Thank you” He looked back at Yoona, “So how long have you known Jessica?”

“Hmm… I’ve known her for a very long time now, we are childhood friends”

“Ah I see, that’s really cool”

“How about you?”

“Well, we just met at a party. Do you enjoy going to parties?”

Yoona hesitated, “Not really”

“What do you like to do then?”
“I don’t really do much, I like staying at home most of the time”

Taecyeon suddenly made an expression.

“So… you don’t go out?”

“Well, only when I need to, like school and grocery shopping”

“I see…”

A message had displayed on Taecyeon’s phone.

“Excuse me” He picked up his device.

“No worries” She smiled.

Yoona noticed Taecyeon was very focused on his phone.

“So, how was your day?” She started but wasn’t given an answer.

Yoona hated repeating her words but asked again that made the latter look up in confusion.

“I said, how was your day?” She said in an irritated manner.

“Oh sorry, it was good, what about you?”

Yoona forced a smile, “Mine was good too”

After Yoona’s reply, Taecyeon immediately had put all his attention towards his phone again and giggled.

“Who is it you’re talking to?” Yoona asked.

“My friend’s girlfriend”

“Oh…”

Yoona quickly found herself bored through this date and decided to text her friend as well.

Yoona: Hey.

Jessica: Hey, how’s the date go
