Chapter 4

“I really don’t want to bother you. I can drive my own car there” Yoona offered.

“Don’t even worry about it, besides, your not a bother to me at all” Krystal smiled.

Yoona blushed as she walked with Krystal to the parking lot.

Yoona noticed a black Maserati that they were heading closer towards.

“Is that your car?” Yoona asked.

Krystal pulled out her car keys from her pocket and unlocked the vehicle.

“Yup, get inside” She opened the door.

“Thank you”

Krystal responded with a smile.

“This is such a nice car” Yoona admired the interior.

“Haha, you think? I got more at home”

“Really?” Yoona asked in shocked.

“Yeah, maybe one day I could show you them and go for a ride”

“That would be great!”

“I didn’t know you were into cars”

“I didn’t either”

They both laughed.

“Looks like we’re here,” Krystal said as she parked the car.

The two exited the vehicle and entered the shop.

“What do you like to drink?” Yoona asked.

“I always go for the classic milk tea, how about you?”

“Depends on my mood, today I’ll go for a taro slush”

“That’s a good one too”

 

The two sat at a corner and began a conversation.

“Krystal, could I ask you something?” Yoona said.

“I mean you already did but sure”

“Ops” Yoona chuckled.

“Go ahead”

“So… why did you ask me out?”

Krystal made a clueless expression.

“I-I mean like for coffee, you asked me to go out for some coffee with you” She quickly added.

Krystal smiled, “Well I thought you would be a really fun person to hang around. I see you sitting alone in class every day and I wanted to get to know you”

“I didn’t mind making a new friend”

Yoona had slowly formed a smile on her face.

“Is it okay if we get to know each other a bit more?” Krystal requested.

“Of course, I’d love to get to know you”

That had made the latter grinned widely.

“Could I taste yours?” She asked.

“You mean my drink?” Yoona’s eyes had widened.

“Yeah”

“U-Um yeah sure” She passed her drink to the latter as she took a sip.

“It’s good, wanna taste mine?”

“No, I’m good”

“Are you sure?” Krystal held her drink towards the girl.

How could Yoona resist the love for bubble tea, “Alright” She snatched the drink away from Krystal and took a few sips.

“Yah! You’re drinking all of mine” Krystal teased.

“You offered” Yoona pouted.

“Haha, I’m just joking, you could even drink all of it if you’d like”

“No no, I would never do that”

“You’re honestly the cutest thing”

Yoona blushed madly, “W-What did you say?”

“I said you’re the cutest thing, why? Is there something wrong?”

“No, I just…” Yoona began to stumble across her words until something else had caught her attention.

“Omg Krystal! It’s snowing, look!” Yoona pointed.

“Wow!~ It’s so pretty”

“This is great, Christmas is coming soon”

“Are you doing anything for Christmas?” Krystal asked.

“Yeah, I had plans, you?”

“I’m invited to my family’s Christmas party but I really don’t want to go. What are you doing?”

“Well my best friend and I does this every year but we go to each other’s apartments and eat and watch movies together. But why don’t you want to go to that party?”

“Jessica?”

“Yeah”

“Oh I see”

“That party you said, you should go to it”

“There’s really nothing fun about it though”

“They are still your family”

“I have family problems at the moment”

“I’m sorry I asked”

“Don’t be sorry, it’s nothing”

“I mean… I can ask Jessica if we could have a guest this year”

“What do you mean by that?”

“You could hang out with us if you want”

“Really? I’d do anything to not go to that party, thank you so much” She thanked.

“No worries, but let me ask first”

“Alright, tell me as soon as possible”

“I gotchu don’t worry”

Krystal smiled, “Should we leave now?”

“Sure”

“Let me drive you home”

“You don’t need to do that, and my car is still at the university”

“Okay okay”

 

“Thank you so much for today, I had a great time” Krystal started.

“Me too, maybe we should go out another time”

“I would love that, hey and make sure you ask”

“I will, bye!”

 

As Yoona was driving back home, she had so much excitement to tell Yuri about her day.

I’m curious if Yuri is wondering where I am. Does she even miss me? -Yoona thought.

When Yoona entered her apartment, she quickly changed her clothes. She opened her laptop while trying to fit her arm through her shirt and began to read Yuri’s messages.

Yulyulk: Hey Yoona, how was your day?

An hour later

Yulyulk: Where are you today? :(

Yoona_lim: Hey, I’m sorry I didn’t reply. I was out with a new friend

Yuri didn’t reply as quick as usual that made the girl wait impatiently. Suddenly, she had heard her phone ring.

“What’s up” Yoona picked up.

“Can I come over?” Jessica asked.

“It’s a Thursday night, I have class tomorrow”

“So what? I can sleep over”

“Actually”

“Yeah, I’m missing my chingu”

“Aish, alright come over, but only if you bring food”

“Of course, what do you want?”

“Tteokbokki ramen”

“Fine, I’ll be there in 20 minutes”

“Aight, see ya”
