It's been awhile since I've had a peaceful night.

Will it last forever?

Dahyun woke up feeling a bit refreshed from a great sleep. She looked around and the couch felt surprisingly relaxing. She checked her watch and saw that it was 6:42am. Just the right time to pack up and prepare for class. After a sigh, she stretched and jumped off the soft cushion that is the sofa. She then fixed her stuff and readied herself to leave—never forgetting to bathe and fix her mother's portrait.

As Dahyun walked out towards the intersection of the street that separated her path from Sana's, she heard heavy and fast pacing footsteps coming from the street. She then stopped before it and waited for the footsteps to come. Sure enough, a rather familiar blonde haired girl was running with a marker in hand.

"LALIZ! Come back here!" a thundering voice could be heard from afar.

"Catch me if you can you elephant~" Lisa stated as she continued her run.

Mijoo slid once she reached the end of the intersection to stop herself from going over (Power slide). Her face was covered with drawings, specifically some whisker, stars ,and a black circle on her nose.

"Wait till I get mah hands on you! I'ma slap you !"

"Watch your language buddy~" Lisa said as she fades farther away from the scene.

"F*** you!" Mijoo shouted, slowly fading away from the scene aswell.

"Ughhh, it's soo early in the morning and they are already at it" a voice came from the same intersection which was followed by a sigh.

Dahyun then looked at the direction where the voice came from, making her eyes land on a boy with messy black hair with a messy style. 

"Morning Dahyun, pleasant seing you here" Myungsoo stated.

"Yeah... morning L" Dahyun greeted, making sure to take note of a small mole marking on the boy's chin. "Uhmmm..." Dahyun muttered, wanting to point on the mark but was soon cut off by Myungsoo, stating that "they should start walking if they don't want to be late". So they did.

Upon walking to the streets, the two were conversing about how their studies were doing and how the wo girls visited early in the morning for a quick rest, and of course, Lisa. And since there was a little mark on the boy's chin, she couldn't help but focus on it and ponder on it. "Why put the mark there?" she thought to herself as they slowly walked towards school.

Once they reached BLINK cafe, Dahyun couldn't help but want to remove the mark on the boy's chin, due to it being a major distraction for her.

"Hey L..." Dahyun said, still looking at the boy's chin.

"Yes Dahyun?" Myungsoo asked

"There's something on your chin, it's kind of distracting me"

"Hmmm?"

Dahyun then grabbed a facial wipe from her bag and proceeded to wipe the mark off the chin of Myungsoo. But as soon as the wipes touched the skin of the boy, a forced cough was heard from behind.

*Ehem*

Dahyun flinched. Startled from the sudden noise, she checked the direction where the cough was heard and her eyes settled on a frustrated Mijoo.

"What are you doing Dahyun?" Mijoo asked, irritation evident on her voice.

"Oh... I was..." Dahyun stated, her words began to fail as she felt a lump form on .

"You were what Dahyun?" Mijoo asked sternly making Dahyun swallow the lump.

"Now now Joo, let's not get too carried away here" Myungsoo stated, trying his best to calm down the girl.

"Shut it L!" Mijoo warned before turning back to Dahyun. "Well Dahyun?" she said while crossing her arms.

"There..." Dahyun mumbled.

"There?" Mijoo questioned while raising one eyebrow up.

"Is a weird mark on L's chin, I was trying to remove it..." Dahyun stated, her head lowered down while her eyes are directed straight to Mijoo's feet.

"Hmmm?" Mijoo hummed questioningly. She then paced towards Myungsoo and noticed the mark on his chin.

"Yes babe?" Myungsoo said in confidence all the while pulling the girl close.

"Yeah, you do have a weird mark" Mijoo said while grabbing the baby wipes from Dahyun's hand after a polite, "Excuse me", and proceeding to wipe the mark on the boy's chin. Myungsoo watched as his girlfriend affectionately wiped the mark off. A smile managed to form on his lips, with his eyes beaming with affection.

"What the?! Ewwww! Stop doing that in front of our restaurant!" Lisa exclaimed while actnig out like she was vomiting. 

"Hey! You're the one who started this mess Laliz!" Mijoo stated.

"Whatever, get a room at least! Our restaurant front isn't your make out place" Lisa stated.

"I mean, it could be for 1000 Zen an hour" Jisoo joined in the conversation. She was starting to open up shop, rolling up the steel shutters covering the storefront.

"Ohhh, and since you started already, you owe us money" Lisa added.

"What the?! You ain't milking money from me!" Mijoo retaliated and turned to Myungsoo, who in turn gave a questioning look.

"Then stop doing what you're doing!" Lisa screamed at the two.

"Stop me!~" Mijoo stated before pulling Myungsoo for a kiss, earning a bunch of "Ewww's" and "Gross" from everyone around.

"Sheesh, get a room you two!" Jennie joined in

Dahyun watched the event happening in front of her from behind her hand and felt a little sick on the stomach, the white palette of her face turned pinkish to bright red. It's not everyday that she get's to see this kind of PDA, but whenever she does, it feels weird to her. She then released a heavy sigh and decided to start working her way to school. Upon taking a few steps, she felt a tug on her shirt. The sudden action made her stop in her tracks and look for the owner of the hand that tugged her shirt. Upon looking up, a face with a bright smile that greeted her.

"Pleasant seeing you here, Dahyun-ah~" Sana said after withdrawing her hand and leaned in closer to plant a kiss on the pale girl's head.

"Oh... ye-yeah" Dahyun mumbled. As soon as she felt Sana's lips depart from her skin, heat started to spread from where the kiss was implanted. She then wiped where the kiss was given furiously, hoping that it will remove any remnant of the kiss. After a soft hearty giggle from Sana, the two continued on their way to school.

"What a weird event am I right?" Sana stated, her wide smile never leaving her face.

Dahyun looked at Sana for a while. After remembering the event, Dahyun felt her face flush red once more. She then proceeded to cover her face using her hair making Sana laugh at the sight. "You don't seem to be weirded out by it, Sana-unnie" she winced.

"Nope, I find it pretty romantic" Sana corrected only to be interrupted by a loud disagreeing shriek.

"Romantic? More like repulsive" Lisa added, making a puking impression after the statement.

"Don't you dare call my love repulsive Laliz. Whenever I give you my love, you almost never complain!"

"Ok, first 'Almost', second I hate it when you become to sappy. It is annoying and disgusting"

"She's right Joo, time and place for everything" Myungsoo added.

"Psssh, you liked it more than I did babe" Mijoo stated, pointing a finger on Myungsoo while continuing their walk.

"True, but time and place before everything, ok?" Myungsoo said, never forgetting to show his warmest of smiles.

"But, I wanna show the whole world that you're mine" Mijoo said softly, her shoulders drooping with sadness.

"Still, you need to learn how to behave" Myungsoo stated, he then pat the head of the girl and made his fingers run down her hair. "Time and place for everything, okay?" he ended.

"Ughhh, fine! I get it! Whatever, let's just hurry to school already." Mijoo stated, brisking her walk and pacing herself back when she was 10 steps ahead.

"She will still continue to be that sappy, y'know?" Laliz stated, watching the back of her best friend.

"Yup, and I love her for that" Myungsoo stated, a wide grin replaced his soft smile as he watched his girlfriend walk from afar.

"You are just as bad" Lisa added, before running straight beside Mijoo and placing an arm round her neck, chatting.

"Yes I am" Myunsoo stated.

Everyone continued their walk going to school with a smile in their face, peacefully chatting and bickering with each other.

"Your assignments are due today, I hope everyone can pass now that I have extended the deadline" Ms. Sunmi added before sitting back on the seat by her desk. She then requested Vernon and Dahyun to collect the assignment's. While doing their rounds, the two met half way after the collection and decided that both of them would pass the assignments the same time. As soon as the two passed the set to the teacher, the boy excused himself first and Dahyun second. Before having a chance to turn back and walk away, the teacher called the attention of Dahyun and asked her to stay after dismissing everyone.

"So Dahyun, I am excited to hear your work." Sunmi said. Her eyes were set on the stack of notes and CD's on the table scanning and counting the number of assignments, before looking back up to Dahyun. "You did send your's right?" she questioned.

"Yes ma'am, it's right over here" Dahyun said, making sure to point out where her's was. It was the one on the bottom of the stack that she gave to the teacher, seeing as she was the one who collected.

"Excellent Ms. Kim, can you tell me what I can expect with your piece?" Ms. Sunmi asked, expectations

Dahyun smiled, something she hasn't done in a while. Remembering the silent of the night and whispers of the wind that blew on the cliffside. Stars on a clear night contrasting over the city's night lights. The chirping crickets over the night blue sky. And of course, the moon set up above over the dark horizon highlighting the whole picture. "Well Miss Sunmi, let's just say that it is a song that gives a nice cool vibe over a solid light Adagio con moto, much like Debussy's Claire de Lune (A/N: Or 'watashi no uso - your lie in april OST')" she said, her smile never leaving her face.

"Sounds promising" the teacher said and nodded, taking Dahyun's piece and CD from the lower most stack, and placing it to the top. "I am listening to this one first then" she ended.

Dahyun nodded, thanked the teacher and proceeded to leave the class room. It was lunch time, and she decided to go straight to the rooftop. A few seconds later, she felt her phone vibrate from inside her skirt pocket. Out of reflex, she reached for her phone and checked it out. She had received a new message, with a few more stocked due to her receiving them during class. She opened her inbox and read the messages.

-Dubs!~ We got out early

-Let's eat together okay?

-Don't worry, just the school meal club!~

-Ok, where are we eating?

-I set up picnic behind school by the mango tree

-Sure, does Tzuyu know about this?

-Of course, I invited everyone in the club~

-Ok, I'll be there in a while

-Awesomesauce~ 

-Oh, and don't bring your girlfriend ok? hahahahaha!

It was a moment of stand still for Dahyun. A moment of pondering--but not really--thinking if it was worth to s. It didn't take long for a certain someone to message her.

-Sorry, Chaeyoung told me to specifically not invite anyone...

-Are you kidding me? there's only two choices, yes or yes~

 

Dahyun looked at the text and decided not to answer anymore. Instead, she made her way towards the picnic spot that Chaeyoung chose for the group. Once she reached the picnic spot, she saw both Chaeyoung and Tzuyu already settled on the blanket. This put a smile on Dahyun's face as it is not everyday that the three of them get to hang out in this manner.

"Unnie!" Chaeyoung greeted, raising her hand up and waving it for a greet. Tzuyu on the other hand, smiled and nodded as a simple greeting. Once Dahyun was close enough to the two, they were subjected to a group hug before sitting down to relax.

In an event like this, it's usually Chaeyoung bringing the blanket and some fruits or cookies, Tzuyu bring the tea and cups, and Dahyun brings the bread and jokes. However, since it was not planned out well, it was just the blanket, 3 bottles of 500ml Lipton iced tea, Tzuyu's family sized bento, and Dahyun's bread and choco pie. The three girls enjoyed their time sitting down and enjoying the fresh air while talking about life.

"It's been a while since we last had this kind of gathering" Tzuyu stated while stretching. She then reached out for the plastic bag beside her and tidied up the plastic bottles and wrappers that were scattered around their picnic spot.

"Yeah, I kind of miss this" Dahyun stated before following suit and collect the trash that was scattered by her side.

"Then we better do this more often!" Chaeyoung happily stated before leaning her head on Dahyun's shoulder. A dimpled smile formed on her face as Dahyun scratched the cub's scalp making her hum in delight.

"For once, I actually agree with you" Tzuyu teased before leaning back, using her two hands as a support. "But maybe next time you can tell us at an earlier time so we could have actually prepared for this" she added.

"Well, it all worked well in our favour anyways!~"

"No-well, yes. But-" Tzuyu said. Her body shifted from her relaxed position to a normal indian sit and her arms over her chest signifying that she was thinking, and said, "We're just lucky that everyone had a chance to contribute".

"Yes, and I think we would have better snacks and tea to munch on if it was planned out earlier" Dahyun added.

"If that's the case, then we better plan it out every weekend and do these every wednesday when we're not as busy" Tzuyu suggested, she then started to wrap the filled up plastic bag, readying it for disposal.

"Right, you are!~" Chaeyoung happily stated while pumping a fist up in the air. "Then we should get started as soon as possible" she added.

"More like study as soon as possible" Dahyun joked, but was not taken lightly by the two. Instead, the atmosphere became slightly tensed. This made her feel abit anxious.

"Exam's week is coming soon huh, I need to start rewriting my notes soon" Tzuyu said with a heavy sigh.

"Yeah, I feel like I have been very lazy with my studies..." Chaeyoung agreed, her head fell back and sighed before looking up at the clear sky above. After a certain time, she lay down on her back and closed her eyes. "Riight..." she stated before getting off of the blanket and jump to her feet. "Oh my, I totally forgot my notes for next class in the art room! I need to go get it!" she stated, grabbing her bag and swiping the dust off her skirt. "I'mma bounce, but I will make sure to text!" she added before pointing to tzuyu and said, "Can you get the matt fixed? I will pick it up from the SC later". She then rushed to give Tzuyu a hug and Dahyun a kiss on the cheek before waving goodbye.

The two girls then waved and started packing up everything they can. Once they were done, Tzuyu carried everything that was packed. She looked like she was having a hard time, so Dahyun went and helped her out. Once they were both set, they left for the student council's office.

As they we're talking, Dahyun couldn't help but be fidgety and restless. She then looked at Tzuyu and said, "I'm sorry... should have kept my mouth shut..."

Tzuyu looked at the girl, then shook her head, and said, "Nah, it was actually an eye opener for the two of us I was too caught up with my hobbies that I totally forgot about the upcoming exam". She knew that Dahyun was being insecure again, and the thoughts that were running on her head was most likely eating her up. "Plus, I bet Chaeyoung did too" she added.

Dahyun nodded while staring at the distance. Still feeling a bit off from the little thing she caused. She accepted the fact that it was nothing, but somewhere deep inside her, she knew that it meant something deeper to her. A burden to people.

Hey guys!~ Been a while am I right? -w- will there be anyone still reading the story? I dunno.

Anyways, I promised to post sooner updates, but I finally got a good excuse why I can't upload sooner. It's cause my dinosaur of a laptop finally gave up :P R.I.P. laptop 2007-2018. Oh well, I had that thing for 11 years. Changed the harddrive and even added more RAM.

Anyways, Sorry for a rather short update. My laptop died last two weeks ago, and I used my friends desktop to write this :P
