"Dee you will be forever special to me. You will be my bestfriend for life. You know I love you right?" I said as I hugged her and kissed her temple. 

I'm in love with my bestfriend, in love with my betrothed. Ironically I realized it when it's too late for us. Or rather I accepted it now when I was bound to let her go. I denied my love for her cause I repulsed the idea that I'm following the elders planned for us. For the longest time I deceived myself that she is just a bestfriend to me. If only I've been honest with myself that time I am not in this messed right now and maybe we're happy couple like Bom noona and Top hyung. But it's no time to dwell the what if's in the past. It's too late now there is a child involved and Kiko is a nice girl with no interest in me as a Kwon. She atleast deserve a marriage. And as for Dara, she deserve someone better. Someone that can openly said he loved her and I'll remained her bestfriend.. Just a bestfriend...

"Come on let's eat this ice cream" She said as she broke our hugged and we proceed to the theater room of their mansion. 

As we watched the movie, she settled her head in my shoulder and said "Ji I'll do everything to protect you. And you do know I love you too right?" I nodded. Hearing she said she love me too shattered my heart to pieces. Why do everything gets complicated?
