Eunsook was standing in the balcony, lost in her thoughts... It's been more than week since she was found by Jonghyun. Her wounds were slowly healing, at least physical wounds... She was still emotionally wounded, and she had no idea how to heal those wounds. She was still blazing with rage, she wanted to kill those who had ripped her happiness off of her. She wanted to avenge her parent's death. She wanted her kingdom back, because it was her right, it was her father's legacy and she wasn't going to stay idle as some heartless freak took over it. She was lost in her thoughts before she heard someone knocking on her door.

She turned back to find Kibum standing at her door with her little sister perched on his waist. She had her arms around his neck as she sleepily cuddled closer to Kibum. Eunsook smiled and nodded, indicating that Kibum can come inside her room.

"Was she troubling you again, Prince??" Eunsook asked, stopping the urge to giggle at how Kibum's eyes widened while he shook his head quickly to deny her statement.

"No, no, no! She is too much of sweetheart to do that... Actually we were playing and I found her rubbing her eyes again and again. I think she is feeling sleepy so I bought her to you...!"

Eunsook nodded in understanding and took sleepy Taeyeon in her arms. They had their dinner already and true enough it was already her bedtime. 

"Are you sleepy Taeyeonnie??" Eunsook asked.

Taeyeon nodded as she hugged Eunsook just like how she hugged Kibum just a while ago.
Eunsook smiled fondly, "Taeyeon gets extra cuddly when she is sleepy. Thanks for taking care of her, Kibum-ssi!! She adores you a lot, and I'm glad that you are taking care of her like I should have done!"

Kibum smiled, his loving dimples showing and adding extra charm to his already beautiful smile. 

"I love her a lot too... She is such sweet little girl, I don't mind taking care of her..."
Eunsook couldn't help but feel glad to have such a lovely people surrounding her... She had thought after loosing everything, her life is going to get tough. She was worried about breaking the news of her parent's death to taeyeon. Little girl was still unaware about what had happened to her parents and Eunsook wasn't sure how to tell her the same. But having Jonghyun, Kibum and even their parents around has helped her with making taeyeon feel at home. Everyone loved doting on both of them and she was thankful to be with them. She was once again brought out of her thoughts when Taeyeon tucked her head in Eunsook's neck. She squeezed her sister little closer and looked up to find Kibum looking worriedly at her.

"Are you okay, Princess?? Do you want to talk about anything? Is there anything I can help you with??"

Eunsook couldn't help but give a little smile to Kibum as she shook her head.

"Nothing much Kibum-ssi!! Thank you for your care... "

Kibum fidgeted a little and it was Eunsook's turn to ask what was wrong. 

Kibum scratched his head as he said," Can we drop these formalities?? I mean we are of same age and though you are going to get married to my hyung, I consider you my sister. I want you to be comfortable with me as taeyeon is. What do you think??"

Eunsook thought for a moment before breaking into huge grin, "I think that's okay Kibum-ah!! I don't have any problems... But I think you should go to sleep now, it's getting late already..."

Kibum smiled as he nodded, "Yes Eunsook, I will get going now... Take care of my little princess though..." 

He turned back and was making his way out when he heard a little sleepy voice calling out for him! He found Taeyeon moving in Eunsook's arms gesturing for him to come closer, and when he did he was awarded with little kiss on his cheek as she mumbled a sleepy, "Good night, oppa~!" 

Kibum and Eunsook both chuckled at her adorableness and Kibum ruffled her hair affectionately as he bowed to Eunsook before taking her leave.

Eunsook made her way to bed and put her little sister on the bed. She tucked her inside the blankets and made hwr way beside her, slipping inside the same blankets. She smiled as Taeyeon immediately cuddled closer to her, and she hugged her little sister close, kissing her chubby cheeks. She talked to her sister amd gave answers to her little questions. When questions turned to where were their umma appa, about when they will go back and about how she was missing dubu, Eunsook controlled her tears while giving her answers which could satisfy her for the time being. She patted her head till she was sure Taeyeon was asleep. After making sure Taeyeon was warm and tucked safely in her arms, she checked the dagger which she kept beneath her pillow. She could not risk anything now and she wanted her sister to be safe...

 
After checking everything she once again let herself loose into her thoughts about what happened past few days and how can she make everything better for her little sister again.

Days went by and Eunsook found herself getting used to staying at Xenia. Her days went with taking a stroll across the palace, getting to know different things about Xenia... Sometimes her days went with playing with her little sister, she was the only thing taking her mind away from the blazing thoughts of revenge. She also spent time accompanying the Queen, learning different responsibilities which Qeen always said Eunsook would be handling few years after. 

Eunsook wasn't happy, she won't be until she will avenge her parents, but she was finally getting comfortable with these people. She was glad to have them in her life. If it would have been anyone else they would have broken the betrothal. But Jonghyun and his family never once said anything about it. 

Eunsook had her doubts though, because she was not sure whether she will be able to get married within two weeks as per earlier arrangements. She wanted to talk to her Prince about it but he was busy with his responsibilities and his trainings. They hardly met each other and when they did, she would be too satisfied with being able to stay in his arms as she listened to him talking about his days to say anything that could end up in fight because of her doubts. 

She sighed as she thought about her Prince. It's been two days since she last met him, and honestly she was so used to having him around that she was missing him terribly. She tried to make herself busy with different things but her thoughts kept on wandering to that particular Prince with kind eyes and soft voice.
