Joohyun sat down on the couch, looking at the door. It was raining outside, lightning flashes in the clouds. And who knows when the thunder will decide to give a knock on her door, crumbling her instantaneously. She kept her eyes on the door, waiting and hoping for SeungWan’s return. To relieve her. To be by her side. SeungWan wasn't replying her text messages make her worry more. She was afraid that SeungWan might have been caught in some accident. Just then, she saw the turning of the doorknob and she knew. She jumped out of the couch and ran towards the door. Shouting out his name, but she stopped in her tracks. She notices how drenched he was. Without saying a word, she rushed to get him a towel to dry him up. She lightly dabbed the towel on the latter as if he was going to break any second.

“I bought your favourite Tteokbokki!” SeungWan plastered a toothy grin as he raised the plastic of tteokbokki in his hand for Joohyun to see.

“You are drenched just for this?! Wan-ah, you should know better than anyone else that your health is more important.” Joohyun said in her soft, concerning voice as she places the towel around his neck.

“But you should also know better than anyone else… your happiness is all that matter to me…”

A shade of pink climbed up Joohyun’s cheeks once again. She took over the bag of tteokbokki from SeungWan hands and pushed him towards the bedroom.

“Now go change out of those clothes before you get ill.”

“Yes, madam!” SeungWan saluted playfully and soon disappear into their room. The moment he locks up the door, he crashes to his knees clutching on to his head. His head had been hurting the second he was at the doorstep. He thought he could have his medication taken when he steps in. But it was proven otherwise as Joohyun was out in the living room. He forced a smile, act playful, masking all the pain until now. He searches for the painkillers in his bag and immediately popped two into his mouth. He now lays on the cool marble floor, letting the pain seeps away like the tear that escapes his eye.
