Chapter 1

“I am so done!”

Tiffany rolled her eyes as she sat more comfortably while looking at her bestfriend. She was holding vback her laughter after seeing her friend huff through her nostrils.

“Seriously Tiffany, one more blind date I’ll puke my guts out in the middle of Seoul”

“Okay! I get it, Geez no need to get all so worked up”

“Do you really? That’s what you said when you hooked me up with the therapist! The dude was as boring as rock!”

“well I thought that you two can get along you know, I mean you enjoy books and stuff”

Joohyun eyed Tiff without a hint of amusement from the latter’s last comment “What does my love for books got anything to do with his boring state? I mean he is nice and all but I almost died trying to make him talk.”

“That’s unfair! Jinwoon was just shy”

“Shy?give me a break Tiff, I can probably count the words he spoke with my ten fingers”

“You’re exaggerating”

“Okay then 20! I’ll include my toes”

She sipped her blue lemonade and adjust her scarf while she observed how her bestfriend tries with all her might to not to blurt out something she knows will annoy her.

“Spill it”

“What?”

“Whatever it is that you want to say, spill it!”

“I’m not gonna say anything!”

“You’re face contorts into these funny looking angles when you try to suppress something so spill it”

“Okay I promise you this one is THE ONE!” Tiffany enunciating the last two words to make her point

Joohyun snorted “Whatever pig, I’ve heard that a gazillion times from you, I’m not falling for it again”

“But he is! He’s a doctor!”

“Tiff, the dude can be lawyer, a judge or even the president of this country but if we don’t match then it’s useless and stop setting me up! I’m a big girl now, my being single shouldn’t bother you girls, I know I’m the only single in the group but hey I’m okay”

“I know that but it won’t be so bad to you know try to get yourself out there”

Joohyun laughed “Why do I feel like you’re selling me or something”

Her bestfriend laughed along “I’m totally not, just keep your options open”

“I am!”

‘’So how about that date with the doctor?”

Joohyun went silent for a minute looking at the hopeful face of her friend and took a deep breathe before sighing loudly “Arasseo, if only just to shut you up for the next 60 years, I’ll do it”

“YES!!!!!!!! Friday 7PM would be good?”

“Yeah YeaH”

Out of the 4 of them Joohyun is the only one unmarried and single for that matter. Tiffany has been married for 8 years, Yoona for 5 and Sooyoung for 2. Tiffany already has 2 children while Yoona has 1 and Sooyoung has 1 also on the way. It bothered her at first during Yoonas wedding that she felt a little bit left out, Tiffany with her husband, Yoona then married and Sooyoung was seriously dating her husband then. Eventually she started to accept that Mr. Right may not really be available for keeping at the moment so she enjoyed meeting different people. She had a number of casual dates but nothing beyond than the first meeting. She always knew what type of man she wanted, she knew what she wants to the tee, but for some reason all these dates just didn’t really made it to her “2nd date” list.

“Oi Seo Joohuyn! Meeting someone special?” Jonghyun, her business partner slash Yoona’s husband caught up with her on the elevator

“Oh I thought you left?”

“Tsk Tsk, changing the subject I see?”

“I’m not, and Im not meeting someone special, I’m just meeting someone” answering him with one of her brows raise

“So I heard”

She nodded. They both went in the elevator and greeted some the people that worked for them

“A doctor I heard”

“Yes”

“And I also heard-“

“Can you ever stop hearing?” giving him a slight punch while smiling

Jonghyuns dimple dipped so much from teasing her

The elevator dinged at the ground floor

“I’ll let you guys know what happens”

Jonghuyn nodded “Take care okay?”

“Yup! See you Sunday!”

“See yah!”

It was only a 5 minute walk from their office to the restaurant she was told to go and from the window she could already see the doctor that Tiffany was telling her about, she went in and headed straight to the table plastering a smi
