First Quarter
Real and not Pretend : Book 1 — The GenesisDays of physical and psychological harbor passed with a lot of overtime practices and it's finally the day of the play. University announced their annual no class just for the Theater Arts and Music Play, one of the most prestige and very in demand plays for university level.
Booths and tents are all laid right beside the theater building selling merchandises and snacks related to the Play. This year's play is all about a girl who was diagnosed with a rare disease whom can't be exposed with the sunlight and the boy who's a surfer. Both met through their love for music. A woman who can't be exposed with sunlight and a man who can't live without it. Talk about complicated story.
Lisa and the lead actor whose name is Jackson, a Junior theater actor, had their photoshoot 3 days prior to the play. Physical posters were released 2 days ago and the digital billboard the stays idle right in front of the entrance gate and university walls was yesterday, with short trailer clips of the play.
The three girls and Mark are all at the booth section, buying some of the merchandises that are available at the moment. They bought hoodies, shirts and caps as they wait for the line to get shorter since there's still at least 2 hours left before it starts.
Lisa on the other side of the building already had her make up done and was only waiting for the her hairstylist. Nervous yet very excited, those are the emotions that the young actress had at that moment. She got over her stage freight all thanks to her endeavors back in Thailand - attending dance and theater competitions and plays until she had to move to Melbourne.
One of her ways of getting herself ready is listening to any type of music so that's what she is doing that moment, eyes closed as she sits at the corner of the room while the others are buzzing and going round and round to do final checks when her music comes to a halt and a call ringtone followed.
Without any intentions of opening her eyes, Lisa pushes the button of her mic piece before saying. "Hello."
"Lisa!" Rosé chirps, causing a smile from the woman.
"Hey! You guys are there already?"
"Yes. Can you like go out for maybe 5-10 minutes? We want to see you before the play? Please please please?"
Lisa had to smile at that knowing what exactly the girl looks like while saying so, puppy eyes and pouting lips.
"I'll go ask. Wait." she says as she stands up and approaches one of their professors to ask for a permission.
When she finally had a go signal, she says. "Be there in a minute." before exiting the room using the secluded exit door that heads straight to the main entrance.
Wearing an oversized hoodie with a big yellow star at the back, the gold spiral designs along the sleeves and the Theater Arts and Music logo on her right chest, Lisa was immediately recognized by the people she'd met along the way. To be able to wear that signature hoodie means only one thing, she's the lead and the story revolves around her.
Rosé noticed the little commotion at the entrance and spots the brunette who's smiling, bowing and shaking hands with the students who are sending her 'Congratulations' and 'Good lucks'. "There she is."
