Break Up
Real and not Pretend : Book 1 — The GenesisFive months since the time Lisa ventured out to Paris for the exchange student program and all the others heard in Melbourne are praises and commendations for the young artist and talent.
For the span of five months, Lisa had participated two indie musicals and theater displays. Her grades are circling around A-, A and A+ which also became a plus point for the directors to scout her.
Five months and Lisa is doing really good not only with her career and studies but also to her affection or love towards Jennie whom she's able to seriously talk with a month ago.
They had several phone and video calls with the other girls if time permits them in doing so but timezone difference is the biggest hindrance of their long distance bonding time.
It surprised her knowing she never felt anything near what she usually feels when she hears anything with regards to the couple. Is she finally able to move on? Or is she trying to mask everything out just to prove to herself that she's over her? She's not certain but one thing is for sure, she's glad that she's no longer hurting way too much.
She could even joke around or listen intently when Jennie complains something about Mark, they've been having a lot of misunderstandings lately, even Jisoo and Rosé confirmed it.

"What happened?" she makes a u-turn back to the living room.
"You were right."
"Right about?"
"Mark."
"What's with h- Oh."
Few months ago, Lisa stumbled upon an instagram account and found out some questionable posts, it even had pictures of Mark in it with captions that shouldn't even exist if they were only friends. Lisa did not tell Jennie about it though but she did to the other two.
Jennie's growing suspicions and doubts were the reasons of the constant fights. Lisa felt guilty because she was the one who saw it. It was and will never be her intention to ruin a relationship for her own or the other's benefits.
"How did you find out?"
"Caught them in the act kissing in a bar far south."
Lisa winced, it is probably one of the worse caught in the act in the history. "I am sorry."
Jennie sniffs and sighs, obviously trying to calm down. "I should've listened to you."
Lisa remains quiet, letting the older one say what she wants to say. "I am crying because I am so angry. I was totally fooled. I was totally played. I was totally blinded." she sobs.
