It was a bright sunny first day of the very first semester of Jennie's college life in Melbourne who migrated from New Zealand due to her parents' work demands, one of the country's hospital needed a helping hand from her parents who are neurologist and anesthesiologist in which they accepted right immediately.

Jennie, despite of her young age, had an excellent educational record. Accelerated not only once but thrice that by the age of 13, she's already hustling the college level course, topping in her class for Biology major in Human Anatomy. Age 16, she finally graduated. Age 17, TOP 2 board passer which certifies her as a licensed Human Biologist. Age 18, she became one of the youngest biologists to ever be part of the research project under United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) until she turned 20.

Spending time with the UNICEF did not only open her eyes from the reality of life but also sparked her dying flame for medicine.

Jennie wanted to be a fashion designer but afraid of being a disappointment to their doctor bloodline, she enrolled back in college to finish her second love, medicine planning to specialize in Podiatrya which is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower extremity.

During her first year, she'd met Jisoo who's also in the same year but taking up a different course however they had 2 same subjects under the same classes which is why they immediately clicked. Jennie's introvert character fits well with Jisoo's outgoing personality. They instantly became best friends.

One semester down and Jennie easily topped her class. She didn't have a choice anyway. Failure is never an option especially she's the daughter of two of the most brilliant doctors in the era. Her parents never pressured her though, they wanted their daughter to do what she wants, to pursue what she wants but she never listened. Following the path where her parents walked and ran is the only way that could cause her no trouble, or so she thinks.

Second semester came and go, Jennie's still the top student of her batch in such a very young age. She'd met people who wanted nothing but a piece of her glory that when she knew about it, she started despising the people who would attempt to get close to her - with or without hidden agendas.  

Jennie's summer classes ended without any problem. That's when she'd met Mark, a 23 year old Medicine Sophomore who didn't even know her until she'd introduced herself in the class. They became partners in laboratory quizzes or exams the entire summer classes. By the end of the period, Mark confessed his growing attraction towards the young genius.

She had her share of suitors back then but none of them were able to get her on a date however with Mark, it was totally different - attraction is mutually shared - so they went out on a date and followed by another one which actually has a very large gap in between due to their different shifts for their mandatory hospital duties.
