" Let's break up"

Out of expectation, beyond imagination and too sudden to prepare, James stops what he's doing, he stares at Eunjung not believing what he just heard

" Babe, are you kidding me?" James tries his best to smile but Eunjung doesn't respond to it

"I'm done" Eunjung says

" Huh, what?" James asks

" Let's stop it here" Eunjung says in her monotone, she doesn't look regret nor sad

"Well , are you being serious ?" James still can't believe it's happening

" James , you know me , and I wouldn't say it if I don't mean it" Eunjung doesn't show her emotion , her words are just flat

" Wait , what's wrong?" James knits his eye brows  

" Nothing is wrong , and I'm doing a right thing for us" She says

" We can talk about it, what did I do wrong, let me know I'm more than willing to fix them" James reaches for Eunjung's hand and she lets he holds it.

" You didn't do anything wrong James" Eunjung smiles at him

" Then tell me why are we breaking up? Don't you love me anymore?" James asks, still refuses to believe it

" Love?" Eunjung contemplates, " I didn't feel it" she turns to look at him

" What?" James laughs sarcastically, " Are you telling me you didn't love me all these times we have dated?" His voice can't be controlled

" I wish I could, but I can't" Eujung insists

" No, this is not right, are you seeing someone else?" He shakes his head

If only Eunjung didn't know the truth, she would feel bad and thought he is mad because she breaks his heart, but she knows better.

" It's never right when we never feel it" Eunjung says

" What are you talking about? I feel it , I love you and I know you love me too" James confidently says

Eunjung can only smile, he is too confident or too proud to accept

" James , you're a good man and I would be happy to stay friend with you , but I can't keep going on like this , and you neither" Eunjung explains

" What do you mean , me neither ?" He asks

" One day sooner or later we're gonna accept who we are and who we love"  Eunjung hints

James swallows, he stares at Eunjung and tries to find the truth in her eyes but he then tries to convince himself that no way Eunjung would find out  

" Stop hurting a person who loves you just because the world is telling you who you should be with" Eunjung smiles

" I can't just pretend anymore, and you should not too , someone who waits for you to be home, he deserves more than this " Eunjung gets up " Please let us end in a good term" Eunjung smiles at him

Flash back

Eunjung felt nothing but a wave of relief as she was scrolling through all the pictures on a tiny flash drive that Qri sent to you. But nothing was new or more than her suspicion, Eunjung assumed things based on its truth and she just needed to confirm it so she could just go ahead and fixed what she should have done long ago for a person who deserved it.

Besides pictures of two guys showing close friendship for they work at the same firm and same team , there would be something in it , if those two didn't share the same apartment , Eunjung couldn't help but amazed at how great job Qri had done to go into these details or even the voice clips , that was beyond her expectation and she wondered how her sunbae nim could get these voice clips , they were as clear as she was with them in the room .

What actually happened ......

Qri was smelling perfume, tester after tester, she didn't really care to get a new bottle of perfume or anything, her target was a guy in his clean and neat working outfit who was looking for something at the mall . Qri spent an hour to follow him around with some shopping bags she had been carrying, well, to appear as if she was shopping, she invested on this a lot but it was worth it. Her sharp eyes were making sure she didn't lose focus of Hwang Chansung . Watching him paid off for his item , Qri didn't wait any second , she swiftly made her way too , following him to the car park .

" Ouch" Qri pretended to cry out loud to draw Chansung attention and it worked he turned around upon hearing woman's voice and he quickly walked back to check on Qri who fell on the ground

" Are you okay?" He squatted to check on Qri who was holding her ankle

" I think I sprain my ankle" Qri's face was distorted , she gave herself credit for acting .

" Can you get up?" He asked and tried to help

" I guess" Qri collectted her shopping bags on the ground

" Let's me help" Chansung offered  

" Thank you" Qri said  

When Chansung was busily picking Qri's stuff , Qri looked at his shopping bag that he left on the ground , and in swift second , Qri attached a voice detect device underneath his shopping bag , and she succeeded doing it in a swift second

" Are you sure you can walk ?" Chansung asked

" It's just numb, I should be alright soon" Qri said

" Okay" Chansung smiled at her

" Thank you so much" Qri flashed him a smile , and shyly tugged her hair behind her ear

" You're welcome" He smiled back , then he  picked up his bag on the ground , unaware of an extra thing he didn't wish for

" Please walk carefully" He turned to give her another smile before walking away

" Thank you" Qri shouted back , all smiling , then hobbling slowly to her car. She threw all the shopping bags to the back seat.

" What's a sweet guy" Qri admired, " But sorry , I'm doing my job" She smiled devilishly . Then Qri a special developed application on her iPad, enabling it, green light appeared as well as the location of her device , and all Qri was to do was wait until Chansung went back to his apartment and had a conversation with someone Qri patiently waited to catch .....and she succeeded again , despite all the noises , Qri could get them ... James and Chansung in the same apartment , talking about things and life ....as lovers .

End of flashback

" For whatever it takes, for what it is worth" Eunjung feels real peace for the first time in year , when she decided to do what she really wants for herself and her heart .

" Are you alright?"

" Yeah" Hyomin smiles to confirm that she is fine

" Isn't it nerve-wrecking?" Jiyeon asks . She knows what they would have to encounter at their first appearance after dating news broke out

" Nowhere to run" Hyomin smiles , " The brave way we could do to take responsibility of our actions "

" What if it wasn't for responsibility, would you?" Jiyeon bites her lower lip

" Can I turn on the radio?" Hyomin interrupts

" Sure" Jiyeon allows, disappointed that her question is dismissed

Hyomin presses on a radio mode, she needs something to calm her mind , she has no particular channel to search for , but she stops at melodic acoustic guitar intro when a song plays .....

Without Hyomin knowing it , her tears run down her cheeks , every words in lyrics just hit her home, and her heart is feeling it as if it is written for them .....

Jiyeon who also enjoys the song ,  is now stunned when she looks at Hyomin , from tear running down , now Hyomin can't stop sobbing , Jiyeon has to pull over a car , she doesn't know what to do or ask . Jiyeon removes her seat belt before leaning closer to a shaking Hyomin , Jiyeon's hands start shaking too , because it hurts to see someone she loves is being so broken , all she can do now is pulling Hyomin into a hug.

It takes Hyomin a while to calm herself down , it has been too much for her to take and she is simply weak now.

" If you are not ready, we should call it off" Jiyeon suggests

" No, please don't" Hyomin objects

" You can't show up like this" Jiyeon looks at those blood shot red eyes

" I'm sorry" Hyomin apologizes she knows better than to mess it up

" No worry, I know you are under so much pressure" Jiyeon says , " it's actually good for you to cry before you totally break down"

" I'm weak" Hyomin blames herself

" No you're not , you're just tired , you've done your best to come this far" Jiyeon smiles encouraging , even though Jiyeon doesn't know exactly what is going but she can guess from all she found , it's not easy.

" Jiyeon" Hyomin is so touched that she's going to cry again

" Please don't cry anymore" Jiyeon reaches to wipe away Hyomin's tear before it drops to her face

" You know you can talk to me , I'm all ears" Jiyeon promises

" Thank you" Hyomin says

" You're welcome and you know it" Jiyeon smiles.

" I'm sorry" Hyomin sniffs  

" Your eyes look swollen, it won't lessen your beauty, but your face doesn't suit it" Jiyeon says

" How can you make someone smile after crying?" Hyomin suddenly smiles hearing Jiyeon said so

" Special talent I guess" Jiyeon acts proud

" How could I thank you enough Jiyeon ?" Hyomin feels lucky to have such a caring person like Jiyeon by her side , she knows how Jiyeon feels toward her , something she can't return.

" Just smile , that's enough" Jiyeon says

" Are you sure that's enough?" Hyomin asks

" Yeah , and the rest we can fix" Jiyeon promises so Hyomin smiles

" Alright now you smile , the next thing we should do is to get rid of your puffy eyes" Jiyeon suggests , Hyomin nods

" I'll stop by to get something that can help at a store we're going to pass" Jiyeon starts her engine

" Thank you Jiyeon, you are the best" Hyomin smiles

Jiyeon just smiles before reaching to messing up Hyomin's hair adorably, she likes it better when Hyomin smiles

" I'm totally messed up now" Hyomin complains

" That will make you look like you just wake up" Jiyeon laughs

" Good idea" Hyomin laughs too

Jiyeon knows that is the only way she can do , although she hopes , just once to hear that Hyomin says she loves her too .

Soyeon notices it right away when she sees Hyomin's eyes , though Hyomin did her best to cover them ,but it looks obviously that she has been through a weeping.

" What's wrong?" Soyeon asks in whisper

" Nothing" Hyomin shakes her head responsively

" As If I would believe " Soyeon sighs at Hyomin's stubbornness sometimes, she looks at Jiyeon who sits next to Hyomin in front makeup mirror

" Did you bully her Jiyeon ?" Soyeon asks

" Yeah , I did" Jiyeon answers sarcastically , Soyeon sighs at these two.

" Alright you don't have to tell me but let's me help to fix this before the program starts" Soyeon is good at coming up for a solution for urgent circumstance, once again she comes up makeup items to turn dull eyes to bright pair of attractive eyes.

" Wow , that's amazing" Jiyeon is amazed after Soyeon works on Hyomin's face that puts on a different facial look now.

" Don't thank me , all you guys can do for me or for yourself now is to get yourself together and answers the questions well " Soyeon pleads

" Thank you Soyeon unnie" Hyomin thanks to her anyway

" Can you fix a dull heart just like that? Jiyeon jokes , Soyeon seems to be able to fix everything .

" Keep being corny as you did just now when you are in front of the camera Jiyeon" Soyeon snaps

" Again , I don't want to believe this , but the more it happens I can't help but think that you treat Hyomin way better than you do for me" Jiyeon whines

" I'll treat you better if only you obey my instruction" Soyeon talks back

" Is anything I didn't follow your instruction?" Jiyeon asks

" Almost everything" Soyeon answers

" Fine" Jiyeon pouts

Hyomin smiles at Jiyeon's childish side which she knows Jiyeon is not serious about it , if it's not Soyeon who cares Jiyeon the most then who would do.

On the other side , Soyeon can't help but feels sad , knowing Jiyeon for so long , she knows Jiyeon isn't like this kind of person , she only acts it out to hide her sadness or tries to make someone feeling better and in this moment , Soyeon is aware that Jiyeon is doing it for Hyomin .... to make her smile .

" Alright, good luck to you guys " Soyeon has to let them go and face what is waiting. Pre-scripted questions have been reviewed but Soyeon can't trust anything right now, media plays, a reverse point , lie observation , everything is on their hands whether they would fail or buy another ticket pass to their future career.

Light on , camera rolls , smiles on their face , Hyomin and Jiyeon walks in front of the camera , cheerful and loud screams of the audiences in the studio whether those who love them and support them or their unchanging hearted fans .

The interview begins, it's not hard for Hyomin and Jiyeon to follow the scripted interview, and of course some random questions that are under their control, both of them answer in most neutral ways as much as possible, they are going with it but they try their best not to go deeper into the lie. What stand in a lie, is a false hope that Jiyeon is aware of but she chooses to fool herself for little happiness while she can ; A lie that Hyomin knows is part of her fault to be blamed and take responsibility. They did quite a great job in answering fewer questions regarding the relationship, and reverse back to their work , music , and most importantly Jiyeon's concert which is a main reason why they are here , Hyomin doesn't want Jiyeon to drop or cancel her concert, and she can't let her careless driving that night to ruin everything Jiyeon has put her effort to , that's the only answer why she did all of these , and today they risk to come to the show and bravely promote Jiyeon's upcoming concert , Hyomin hopes this will help Jiyeon's concert ticket sale .

Anyhow, at almost the end of the interview, a compilation of JiMin moments are being played on VTR , starting from their hot MV , behind the scene of them playing around dancing underneath the snow, captured moments of them at the radio live apperance , part of the video when they were rescued from the jungle .... and that is the moment everything stops in Hyomin's head, and the second time of the day , Hyomin starts to tear up, but for different reason , she feels deeply touched by all the things Jiyeon has done for her so far . Jiyeon gives a light squeeze on Hyomin's shoulder which Hyomin naturally reaches to touch Jiyeon's hand.

" Thank you for always being there" Hyomin speaks incoherently as their eyes meet.

" Always" Jiyeon smiles, and she is not reluctant to wipe away Hyomin's tear

" Aww" MC squeals at the scene before her

" Please don't cry" Fans cheers up

" Yeah, please don't cry anymore" Jiyeon looks at fans then back to Hyomin

" I'm sorry" Hyomin looks away and tries to hide her tear

" Those videos are so beautiful and touching " The MC adds

" Ah, we must blame you for making her cry" Jiyeon jokingly blames the MC

" But we can't deny that you guys are so sweet" The MC adds.

" This is so unfair" Minkyung moodily puts down her phone

" Mm?" Haeri stops playing with Minkyung's puppy

" Look at them, they don't have to hide it" Minkyung passes her phone to Haeri

" I know right" Haeri agrees

" But what's about us ? The CEO nim even tried to separate us when he found out, but look at Minnie and Jiyeonie's case, I feel like he can't even hide his joy to announce it to public" Minkyung says

" It's one thing lets to another case" Haeri reasons, " If there was no accident issue, CEO nim might choose to do the same as ours"

" Unnie , please stop being so positive" Minkyung sighs , " Can't you see he purposely put them together ?"

" What is wrong with me being positive when I'm with a grumpy kid like you?" Haeri talks back

" Yah , I'm grumpy because it's about us , I want to hold your hands in public and show everyone you're mine" Minkyung reasons

" What do you want more than we have now?" Haeri asks," We've got everything , we are living our dream, we are almost together 24/7 doing what we love together, who care if it's only us to know" Haeri becomes serious

" Unnie" Minkyung listens and thinks " Yeah , you're right"

" And who knows, if we get exploded , will they accept us the same way as they do to them , each of us has a different spot" Haeri keeps going on with her reason

" Yeah" Minkyung calms down and shakes off her childish mode

" To be honest with you, I feel something weird about this" Haeri looks skeptic

"What's about it?" Minkyung

" I don't think it's Jiyeon who drove a car into an accident" Haeri points out

" Why?" Minkyung asks

" Remember Jiyeon barely touched alcohol that night, while Hyomin drank some" Haeri says

" You mean?" Minkyung pauses

" Yes, I suspect it was Hyomin" Haeri reveals her thought 

" And what does it has to do with them dating?" Minkyung asks  

" Aren't you being friend with Hyomin long enough to know her ?" Haeri asks, " Haven't you seen how much she scarified to save us when she couldn't just ignore our trouble ?

" Yeah she is the best friend I could ask for " Minkyung feels thankful

" Now let's alone if it was something she was a part of it" Haeri reasons

" You've got the point" Minkyung puts things together

" Do you still remember the night we accidently saw Hyomin with someone in a car?" Haeri asks

" I do remember" Mikyung recalls her memory

" I have a feeling that it's a person Hyomin may, you know " Haeri concluded

" Yeah , but she never spills about it" Minkyung says

She recalls the night they witnessed Hyomin got in a car with someone and when she got out , she looked so happy, they tried to play around with question when they met her next time but Hyomin didn't even tell them a single piece of information.

" She might has her reason but for sure the eyes don't lie" Haeri says

Minkyung gets down to the floor and hugs Haeri

" I never know I have such a clever girlfriend" Minkyung compliments

" Oh yeah ?" Haeri rolls her eyes

" Aren't we like Sherlock Holms ?" Minkyung hugs Haeri's neck

" I'm not in it" Haeri shakes her head , knowing what comes into Minkyung's mind

" Don't you want to know who is that person who made her smile ?" Minkhyung asks

" Look, let's everything unfold the way it has been knotted, we will do to help if they want , I'm fine with it if Hyomin would be really dating Jiyeon and if it makes her happy" Haeri says

" Fine" Minkyung pouts

" Let's wait and see what we can do , and that's what friends are for " Haeri says , Minkyung nods , agrees .

Knowing Hyomin for years , she is the best friend the couple could ever wish for , both in career line and in real life , all these years they haven’t seen Hyomin ever mention about the person she loves , but it's not hard for Haeri to figure out instinctively that Hyomin has always been in love from the look in her eyes  and with a supportive fact that she never bothers to look for someone and doesn't seem lonely, still there is something that tells Haeri that something keeps Hyomin from being really happy. And of course , if only Hyomin would let them , the couple would do anything to support and make their friend happy.

Eunjung feels like a huge mountain is lifted off her chest now that she finally put an end to what left hanging, but she can't smile whole-heartedly until she gets everything taken care , she has prepared to tell her father about her break-up with James , she assumes he may be disappointed at a point , but for once she rather encouters her father being disappointing in her than seeing Hyomin unhappy all the time , and she can't wait to see Hyomin and tells her tonight about this too.

" Isn't this supposed to go to my father's office?" Eunjung notices a misplaced document in her document tray addressing her father from a lawyer. Eunjung thinks about bringing it to him at his office, so she gets a chance to talk to him personally .

Eunjung musters her courage, she knocks on the door to her father's office, but he doesn't answer the door

" The president nim has been out for the tea time" Her father's secretary informs

" Oh , how long has he been away?" Eunjung asks

" Almost an hour" She answers

" Okay , thanks" Eunjung says

 " Should I call you and let you know when he is back?" She asks

" No , it's alright , I just wanted to drop him a document" Eunjung decides to give it to him before she forgets , so she just walks into his office , she is about to place it on his table when she notices a piece of document laying there, and she wouldn't be interested in it if it's just a normal business document and not a WILL draft and if she doesn't happen to see her name together with Hyomin's name there .

Eunjung is not happy either to see this kind of thing but her head is raised with question and gets more confused " Half and half?"

It's not like she is jealous or not happy to share half of what's supposed to be all hers to Hyomin , she is more than willing to literarily give it all to her if that's what Hyomin wants , but what she doesn't understand is why her father would do so , she knows he loves her so much as a niece but it doesn't make sense he would be willing to give half of what to give to his own daughter to a niece , but then her hand is shaking when she moves down to the next part ...

Eunjung wishes she could turn back time and did not enter his office and read this.

Hyomin is greeted by the darkness when she enters Eunjung's penthouse, the older person asked her to come tonight because she needed to tell her something , but judging from a quite dark atmosphere , Hyomin figures that Eunjung isn't home yet . She puts off her shoes and places then along with several pairs of Eunjung's shoes , that's Eunjung's habit , neat and organized , Hyomin smiles .  Hyomin thinks Eunjung may be a little late so she walks into her kitchen , thinking that she should cook something for dinner them , even the owner of this place is not here, somehow it's a feeling where this home gives off that makes Hyomin feel safe , while preparing the dinner ,  a memory of a recent visit comes back , Hyomin was so mad at Eunjung for locking her away , but now she is over it and doesn't even have a heart to get stay mad, because a part of her convinced that Eunjung did it because she loved her so.

By the time Hyomin gets out of her train of thought, she has already done prepared carbonara spaghetti for two , and that makes her realize how late Eunjung is when she hasn't showed up yet.

" Is she still working ?" Hyomin asks herself before making a call but the latter doesn't answer the phone. Eunjung is not usually late and she is always the one who in time to wait than to be late , Hyomin tries again and it remains unanswered then her worry starts to creep in heart .

 Hyomin paces back and forth in the living room thinking of how to reach Eunjung or find out where she is , and when she is at the verge of her wit end , a person she has been waiting for, walks in.

" Where have you been?" Hyomin sighs in relief

Eunjung doesn't answer , she slowly walks toward Hyomin, then gives her a hug , a tight hug as if she can't let Hyomin go.

" Is something wrong?" Hyomin asks , as she could sense how vulnerable Eunjung is now though she is the one who gives Hyomin a hug.

" Stay like this" Eunjung says in a monotone  

Hyomin stops asking, she hugs Eunjung back. She doesn't know what is happening , even so , she can tell from Eunjung's heavy sigh, without the words , she understands Eunjung the most and right now all she needs is a shoulder to lean on .

Hyomin watches as Eunjung enjoys her favorite dish that she prepared, the older person hasn't talked to her about what happened and Hyomin knows better than to push her.

" Are you that hungry?" Hyomin asks, amused seeing how Eunjung enjoys spaghetti

" It's delicious" Eunjung smiles as she the sauce off her lip

" Take some from mine" Hyomin offers

" No, enjoy yours" Eunjung declines

" I want to watch you eating like this every day" Hyomin says as she starts to eat when she looks up Eunjung can only smile and Hyomin knows something is absolutely wrong.

" Hyomin" Eunjung looks at the love of her life with an unreadable expression that Hyomin has never seen before , it strangely makes her happy yet weird at the same time.

" Yeah" Hyomin waits patiently to hear what Eunjung wants to tell her

" What if one day thing you always believe it is turns out that it's not ?" Eunjung asks

" Anything in particular ?" Hyomin finds the question confusing yet hides some meaning

" Like who you are , where you belong but one day the world flips over , everything is upside down , and you don't even belong there and a person you thought you are , it's not even existent" Eunjung starts to say things that Hyomin listens tentatively .

" You mean everything is a lie ?" Hyomin asks, then Eunjung slowly nods

" I honestly don't know, it would take me while to take it" Hyomin speaks from her point of view

" I guess" Eunjung smiles bitterly

" But above all, though existence isn't there , heart wouldn't change its feeling , and although you loose all existence, I'll find you" Hyomin assures .

" Thanks" Eunjung says , smiling , but it's not a convincing smile .

" Eunjung , do you have anything to tell me?" Hyomin starts feeling scared

" Oh yeah, I almost forget about that" Eunjung completely forgot it , because right now her mind is occupied with something more shocking.

" I mean, you are not yourself today" Hyomin expresses her worry.

" I'm always myself when I'm with you" Eunjung smiles reassured.

" Eunjung" Hyomin tries again

" Are you done with dinner, let's go for a ride ?" Eunjung disregards Hyomin's call, she gets up

" Go for a ride?" Hyomin can't catch up with Eunjung's action today

" Come on" Eunjung walks to Hyomin on the other side of the table and takes her hand.

Although it's all weird, but Hyomin can't deny she loves the way Eunjung seems careless about anything now, she holds Eunjung's hand and follows her.

" I broke up with James" Eunjung breaks the silence as they are on the highway

" Did you?" Hyomin wants to make sure she heard it right

" Yeah I did" Eunjung turns to look at Hyomin and smiles

" Why did you do so?" Hyomin asks neutrally while inside she is happy Eunjung did so

" Aren't you happy?" Eunjung asks

" Did you do it for me?" Hyomin doesn't answer but asks back

" For us" Eunjung answers

" Did you tell uncle and how did he say?" Hyomin worries that her uncle may not be happy about this

" He didn't say much about it" Eunjung sounds sad all of sudden

" Really ?" Hyomin assumes that might be a reason why Eunjung seems so off today

" Mm" Eunung says

" Eunjung , thank you for doing this , I know you did it for me , but I don't want uncle to be mad at you" Hyomin sighs

" Do you want me to go back to him?" Eunjung asks

" No" Hyomin answers right way

" Then stop asking about other , let's enjoy our time" Eunjung tells

Hyomin stops asking though she feels like there is something else in Eunjung's heart.  The rest of the night Eunjung takes her to do things they never did together. Like walking in the street holding hands, getting somethings from supermarket together or even enjoying street food, none of these they did in years fearing to be caught, but tonight Eunjung seems different. But Hyomin can't let those to keep her from enjoying the things they never did , she is happy that they once do the things like lovers do , and a song she heard on the radio today is back to her mind.
