After Hyomin and Jiyeon wrapped up their fashion shooting session, they were free of schedule and were headed to their apartment together on Jiyeon's car so Soyeon wouldn't have to drop Hyomin and could call it for a day, which Jiyeon didn't mind it , Hyomin was more than welcomed.

"Oh, is it your new car?" Hyomin remembers it's not the same car she used to get on

" Yeah, I've just changed it" Jiyeon presses on an automatic start button

" It's nice" Hyomin praises

" Thanks" Jiyeon senses that Hyomin seems to be interested in the automatic start button especially

" It's very new driver-friendly too" Jiyeon adds, " Do you wanna try?" Jiyeon asks

" No, I can't" Hyomin looks away

" It's very easy to drive, do you wanna learn, I'm happy to teach you to" Jiyeon eagerly encourages

" No, thank you" Hyomin shakes her head

" Don't you think it's very necessary sometimes to drive on your own?" Jiyeon asks, Hyomin contemplates, " I believe it would come a time when your friend or someone you know may be sick and you must drive he or she to a hospital urgently, and .."

" Do you really don't mind to teach me how to drive?" Hyomin cuts Jiyeon off before she pulls all the reason in the world to support her ideas

" Of course!" Jiyeon confirms

Hour later, Hyomin finds herself in a driver seat, nervously holds on a steering wheel with Jiyeon coaching her and cheering her up on a passenger seat next to her right. In front of her , is just an open area with nothing to block their way , and the driving lesson starts .

" Don't be nervous, just relax" Jiyeon says

" Okay" Hyomin takes a deep breath, she wanna try again

" Alright, let's start" Jiyeon signals and Hyomin attentively follows every step Jiyeon tells her , the car slowly moves and then little faster it run along the paved road.

" Don't be stiff, remember to relax , you're driving and you're in the control of it" Jiyeon says , " Move it as you wish"

" Okay" Hyomin says with more confident

" You can do it" Jiyeon smiles, seeing how Hyomin can move it left and right as she instructed her before.

Hyomin was a bit stiff at first but after a few more try, she is getting better , and better after an hour of learning .

" I'm driving a car , Jiyeon !" Hyomin is exciting squealing

" Yes , you are driving it" Jiyeon gives her that confident look

" I really drive it" Hyomin is happy

" Told you, you can do it" Jiyeon encourages

And it was one week in a row after that day, Jiyeon and Hyomin continued their private driving lesson whenever they were free and Hyomin was gradually getting better at it . Hyomin appreciates that Jiyeon is very patient with her, and she is very happy that she can actually drive, however she keeps it from one person, and t

hinks she would find a right time to tell her, Hyomin is still afraid how the older person would react to this news. And with more time that Hyomin spends with Jiyeon , she realizes that her roomie is actually a loner , she never sees Jiyeon going out with friend or anyone, only work and back to apartment , they occasionally go out for late night grocery shopping together when they can. Hyomin tries to give Jiyeon company as her time is allowed, while most of the time Hyomin would sneak out to be with a person she wants to spend her precious limit time with the most.

But tonight , Hyomin isn't feeling glad to see her cousin , she sighs the umpteenth times , but what's a reason there for her to refuse her uncle persistent request , he asked her to invite Jiyeon home for a dinner to thank her and get to know her more for she shares a same place with his niece and Hyomin's mother keeps bugging her about it too, given that she owed her a big thanks . First of all , she knows an older woman well; Because Eunjung can't tell anybody that Hyomin is hers , it mentally pressures her and she just ends up being jealous , even though how many time Hyomin has ensured her lover that Jiyeon and her are only friends and never be more than that, Eunjung holds only to her deep scar about her mom and there is nothing Hyomin can do to change her. But more than to worrying about Eunjung's jealousy , Hyomin is weary every times she see a person next to Eunjung's side , she has the feeling too.

And as Hyomin expects, Eunjung joins them at dinner with James, both of them smiling and being sweet to one other, Hyomin ignores them and takes care of her guest for tonight. Jiyeon was introduced to them as vice versa , James who is always attached to famous people , being all friendly to Jiyeon , while Eunjung just has her formal conversations with her.

" Do you cook Jiyeon ?" Hyomin's mother asks her with a caring mother's tone, she likes Jiyeon after having talked to her.

" Yes, I do . I've been living alone , so I learnt how to cook" Jiyeon answers

" What's a relief, our Hyomin doesn't" She looks at her daughter

" Omma, I do too" Hyomin defends

" Yes, she does , she helps me to cook" Jiyeon supports

" Oh really?" Eunjung's father joins , surprised

" We also go for night grocery shopping after our schedule" Jiyeon adds

" I was worried that you might not eat well , now I feel better to know that you both eat well" Hyomin's mom says

" Eunjung should take a good care of yourself too" Her father mentions.

" No worry uncle , I always take her out for good and healthy food" James speaks up

" That's nice" He says

Just being humble , Jiyeon has won Hyomin's mother and Eunjung's father's hearts , they like this kid even though she doesn't advertise much about herself , they see something good in her, and are glad that Hyomin is making friend with a trustworthy person. Hyomin is grateful to Jiyeon too , having Jiyeon here , Hyomin has more things to talk about and she doesn't have to wait when a usual torturing family dinner would end , Jiyeon is a great distraction so Hyomin could treat the couple in front of her like the air, the singers are talking about their work and stuff , Jiyeon even mentions about their plants back at the apartment as a part of one topic. And a couple who always have a lot to say , become less important today , James is having fun listening to Hyomin and Jiyeon's stories too, until a random mentioning about Eunjung's new car which her father gave her as a birthday gift that Hyomin unconsciously tells everyone that Jiyeon just got a new car too

" Hyomin recently achieved in her driving lessons too" Jiyeon says proudly

" What did you say?" Unexpectedly, Eunjung asks in surprise

" I gave Hyomin a private driving lesson" Jiyeon who was clueless about the family's off-limit topic, answers to Eunjung

" Oh" Hyomin's mother says

" Um, I made Jiyeon teach me" Hyomin quickly admits as she has witnessed her family's reaction

" I don't let her drive on a real road though" Jiyeon adds, unaware of an unknown situation.

" Congrats. Hyomin" James innocently cheers , forgetting that he once mentioned about it too .

Hyomin's mother just gives her daughter a mental scolding look , but she knows better than to humiliate her daughter in front of two non-family members and it seems Eunjung's father is aware of it too when he suddenly jumps to another topic to say , but one person is still dazed by the fact she found out from other, she steals glance at Hyomin , feeling hurt , betrayal and upset .

Hyomin gives her mother a hug and says goodnight to her uncle, as they are leaving, while Eunjung and James are already out there ahead of them , Hyomin and Jiyeon are walking to Jiyeon's car where they witness the couple bidding goodbye, holding hand , and the next thing that makes Hyomin frozen when James bends over to give Eunjung a kiss on her lip , and Eunjung doesn't refuse .

" They are a sweet couple" Jiyeon comments then she looks away giving them privacy, getting into her car , and Hyomin just can't stand the scene , she swiftly walks away with her aching heart.

Qri is smelling perfume , tester after tester , her hand now is mixed with more than four scents of them , and she can't make her mind , and she is not going to make her mind soon , she puts down the tester and gracefully walks away , she probably has enough of handful shopping bags now , as she proceeds to the car park

" Ouch" Qri cries out loud and it's enough for a guy walking in front of her earlier to hear, he turns around and rushes to her

" Are you okay?" He squats to check on Qri who is holding her ankle

" I think I sprain my ankle" Qri's face is distorted

" Can you get up?" He asks

" I guess" Qri collects her shopping bags on the ground

" Let's me help" The guy offers

" Thank you" Qri says

When the guy is busily picking Qri's stuff , Qri looks at his shopping bag that he leaves on the ground , and in swift second , Qri successes at what she is expert at. Qri is trying to get up .

" Are you sure you can walk ?" The guy turns around to help

" It's just numb, I should be alright soon" Qri says

" Okay" The guy hands her all her shopping bags

" Thank you so much" Qri flashes him a smile , and shyly tugs her hair behind her ear

" You're welcome" He smiles back , then he picks up his back on the ground

" Please walk carefully" He turns to give her another smiles before walking away

" Thank you" Qri shouts back , all smiling , then hobbling slowly to her car. She throws all the shopping bags to the back seat.

" What's a sweet guy" Qri admires, " But sorry , I'm doing my job" She smiles devilishly . Then Qri turns on some applications on her iPad, enabling them.

" Hi" Qri greets

" Yeah?"

" What is with this sound? Qri scoffs at the weary sound she is receving

" Having a rough day"

" I guess, I just wanted to let you know that I sent you the package this" Qri informs

" Great ! So how is it?"

" Your instict is quite precise" Qri laughs

" Oh yeah , so ?"

" I would say you can't quite tell from what you see in package, but it's very obvious when you have a clue" Qri hints

" You mean it's not a red hand catch?"

" Yes and no" Qri says

" But the last piece will answer all" Qri ensures

" I never doubt in you"

" Thanks , I'll keep you updated"

" Thanks Qri"

" I'll let you go now, cheer up" Qri mocks

" Thanks again , I owe you so much"

" No worries , I'll send you invoice for all of this " Qri jokes

" Don't make me bankrupt"

" I'll look forward to the package"

Eunjung hangs up the phone, she takes a deep breath and thinks. So much to do , she hopes little by little things would be taken off her plate , she is trying hard to untie the knot she was messing up with them from the first place. Adding more mental wreck from what happened last night , she was upset , but she knew she hurt the one she loves too.

" Pabo yah, why are you standing under the sun, isn't it hot?" Eunjung dragged her cousin under the shade

" I've been waiting for you" Hyomin responded

" You can come to wait inside" Eunjung scolded

" But you said wait here" Hyomin argued

" I know but that was before this hot burning sun came this direction" Eunjung was

" I don't want you to think that I was not listening to you" Hyomin reasoned

" You pabo, I wouldn't think so , I would be more worried if you get burnt by the sun or get sick if it's too hot " Eunjung said

" Also , you wouldn't have to look for me because I was waiting at the same spot" Hyomin beamed , proud

" Will you still be waiting for me at the same spot?" Eunjung asks no one

" Jiyeon , are you free tonight ?" Hyomin asks in one afternoon when they finishing a variety show recording together.

" I guess, this is my last schedule today" Jiyeon looks up from her bag.

" I wonder if you would like to join us at Haeri unnie's birthday party ? Hyomin invites

" Does she want to invite me?" Jiyeon wants to make sure

" Yes, she does , also she invited me and she said I can bring a someone along" Hyomin answers

" Are there many people going?" Jiyeon is deeply glad that Hyomin chooses to invite her along but she isn't very comfortable if it's Haeri's birthday that she's going to have a lot of her friends there

" Not really, there are only six of us, Haeri unnie , Minkyung , our friend Taeyeon and her friend, me and you , if you consider to go" Hyomin counts

" I think I can go" Jiyeon confirms

" Great, I'll let her know" Hyomin is excited

" What time and where will we meet?" Jiyeon asks

Hyomin gave Jiyeon the time and location where they would gather for the party . Jiyeon agreed back for change, she arrived at the place described by Hyomin , which seemed to be a very private place , and she felt a bit awkward because of her casual clothes , white T, black jacket and jeans. Hyomin greeted Jiyeon , Hyomin wore a dress, then she brought her in.

"I don't know you would come such a place, I'm sorry I didn't get dressed" Jiyeon apologizes

" Why are you worried? You look fine" Hyomin cheers up

" Are you sure?" Jiyeon looks at Hyomin

" Absolutely " Hyomin confirms, " Oh, this, I borrowed it from the studio I had photoshoot " Hyomin examines herself .

" Ah, I see " Jiyeon understands. , " You look great on it" she adds

" Thanks" Hyomin says

" Come in , everyone is waiting " Hyomin invites

At the party, Jiyeon was introduced to Taeyeon and her girlfriend, Tiffany who came along. Tayeon seemed to click with Jiyeon as they were discussing about music and Taeyeon was already interested in Jiyeon's voice style.

It wasn't that kind of extreme fun party but Jiyeon was okay with it, she was warming up to a small circle of Hyomin's friends, the Davichi duo was welcoming her with their genuine friendship, Taeyeon was somewhat similar to Jiyeon in a way and they could talk, while Tiffany was everyone's sweetheart , she was being nice and friendly .

Hyomin was seating next to Jiyeon and kept checking if Jiyeon was alright or having fun, and Jiyeon told her the ninth times that she was fine and glad to be there with them, Jiyeon laughed along with them. Minkyung , with her ability to drink the most liquor started being crazy and dancing while Haeri kept controlling her , Taeyeon was being all clingy to her girlfriend and kept teasing Hyomin , she started humiliating Hyomin as well , Jiyeon learned that Taeyeon was actually Hyomin's childhood friend too. The party went on, they always included Jiyeon in the chat , and talked about things and stuff everyone could relate , Jiyeon felt thankful and had a heartwarming night with them but before they reached the limit, with alcohol they consumed , they decided to leave . Haeri and Minkyung's apartment was in a walking distance from where they had the party , so they decided to walk home , while Taeyeon and Tiffany were weirdly drunk, they made a phone call to someone who they called her their baby to pick up which then it turned out to be Taeyeon's sister , Seohyun , an uptight woman showed up , she shook her head at the couple and tried to get them home , and it was the first time Jiyeon met her . Jiyeon and Hyomin were the ones that drank the least because they were aware that they had morning schedules tomorrow and their place was far than the other.

" Thanks for coming today" Hyomin says as they get into Jiyeon's car , headed back to apartment together

" I should thank you, I had fun tonight " Jiyeon says

" I'm glad you do, we were afraid we might bore you" Hyomin feels relieved

" It has been aged since I hanged out with some pals , honestly it was wonderful , everyone are interesting" Jiyeon truly feels it

" That's why I wanted you to know them , they are nice friends with good hearts" Hyomin hopes Jiyeon would understand her good will . She has an impression that Jiyeon is too isolated, and hope she doesn't mind to make new friends

" They are awesome" Jiyeon honestly comments

" We should hang out with them more often" Hyomin suggests

" Nice idea" Jiyeon agrees

Hyomin notices that Jiyeon's face is a little red, she is concerned

" Are you okay Jiyeon?" Hyomin asks

" Yeah, I'm , it's just I don't often drink" Jiyeon responds , she assumes Hyomin must have noticed her face which she knows it turns red when she drinks

" Should I drive us home?" Hyomin asks , unconfidently

" I think I'm fine" Jiyeon says, " But if you want to drive , I wouldn't mind to be a passenger" Jiyeon adds, she thinks it could be a good chance for Hyomin to actually drive in a long road when traffic at night it's not bad.

" Do you think I'm ready to drive?" Hyomin is still nervous

" Sure , you can drive" Jiyeon smiles confidently and it gives Hyomin more confidence

" I'll drive us home " Hyomin says

Hyomin carefully drives on the road and she is doing well, and Jiyeon is proud of her first and only student she has ever taught how to drive . The side effect of alcohol for Jiyeon is making her sleepy, but she forces herself to stay awake, afraid that Hyomin may need someone to talk to and distract her from being anxious

When Hyomin is about to take the last turn to their apartment , her phone rings , Hyomin takes a glance at her phone to see a special name for a contact appears , momentarily she gets distracts , she tears her eyes from it and at that moment when a motorbike is cutting through .

" Hey, watch out" Jiyeon screams , and it only makes Hyomin more panicky, she quickly makes a decision and swerves the car away to the road side, car loses control .

" No!" Jiyeon screams louder when a thing right before them is the street light pole , fortunately Hyomin steps on the brake right after the car hits the pole, the impact is only enough to make the car sensor work and produce the loud noise. Fortunately , a motorbike they saw earlier is nowhere to be seen and has left to another direction , less thing to worry then Jiyeon who all the time has been fastened safely , feeling intact , just a slight dizzy from blood pumping too fast.

" Are you alright?" Jiyeon quickly asks when the car stops and she is back to her sense, Hyomin is clearly shocked

" Hyomin, are you hurt somewhere ?" Jiyeon worries when she gets no response , Hyomin mildly nods

" Are you sure?" Jiyeon asks worriedly

" Yes" Hyomin says , in shocked state , Jiyeon unbuckles her seatbelt and bends to check Hyomin, she looks fine .

" Does your legs hurt?" Jiyeon wants to make sure

" No , I'm fine" Hyomin shakes her head

" Alright" , Jiyeon feels relieved , "Can you please climb to the back ?" Jiyeon orders

" What?" Hyomin doesn't yet get over her shock

" Just do it , NOW " Jiyeon rushes , Hyomin difficultly moves to the back seat once she gets off , Jiyeon moves around and replaces on a passenger seat

" Now , please come forward and fasten your seat belt" Jiyeon instructs , Hyomin is confused yet complying obediently .

" What are we doing?" Hyomin asks

" Take a deep breath, everything will be alright" Jiyeon says

They become completely sober, sitting back and doing nothing then they hear a police car coming their way , Hyomin gets scared

" Jiyeon" Hyomin looks back behind the car

" I know" Jiyeon stays calm

" you know?" Hyomin asks anxiously

" That's no point to run" Jiyeon says , " Don't say anything , I'm driving this car" she briefs

" No , I can't let you take all responsible" Hyomin opposes as she knows what it's coming next

" No argument, this is my car" Jiyeon insists

Police came, they checked on them , ambulance followed, Jiyeon carried out the breath alcohol test , and the result didn't help the situation, it was more than average . Jiyeon and Hyomin had to go to the police station, and the rest was the real mess.

Soyeon comes over to the police station to take care of the matter, she is too worried than to have a gut to scold them, Jiyeon and Hyomin are not in state to take any of it anyway, they are escorted to the apartment afterward.

News spread like wildfire, though nobody gets injured in this accident, but it's a sweet chance for crazy netizens to enjoy blasting and joining a war to drag someone down to their lowest , lot of manipulated and fabricated rumors stirred up regarding the accidents. The two singers involved are called in to the company office in the morning , the CEO is not really happy about it.

" I have to suspend you Jiyeon, this isn't doing you any good to you" The CEO states , he makes his decision . Jiyeon listens but show no reaction , her typical style

" But CEO nim ... " Hyomin is about to go against it , she shifts uncomfortably , Jiyeon holds her back by light touching Hyomin's hand as to stop her , Hyomin fights back with her facial expression , Jiyeon shakes her head to disapprove

" I'll reflect on myself CEO nim" Jiyeon accepts his decision

" Your concert may be cancelled too" He adds.

" That's too much" Hyomin can't stand

" Not really , if Jiyeon continues with her activities , it will only anger public" He reasons

" But I'm a part to be blamed too" Hyomin voices her opinion

" Thank you Hyomin , but please let me take responsible of my own action" Jiyeon cuts in

" Everything is going so crazy right now, though Jiyeon makes a public apology, it will only help very little" He explains

" Is there anything we can do to keep Jiyeon concert happen as scheduled?" Hyomin asks

" Right now I'll hold back on statement regarding her activity but still Jiyeon will need to reflect on herself and stay out of the radar" He tells both of them .

It makes Hyomin worried, and feels bad for Jiyeon , it's obvious her fault and Jiyeon is taking both public criticism and professional blame, guilt slowly takes over her , it weighs heavily on her heart , and her should drooping with an invisible weight , Hyomin feels so selfish ,

" Unless we have something to turn this situation around" The CEO looks at Hyomin , and then Jiyeon .

" Yeah ?" Hyomin turns attention to him , while Jiyeon examines his facial expression , she senses something tricky in his eyes.

" We can either let the time heal then people will forget it or distract them with other news" He suggests

" How can we do to distract them ?" Hyomin asks , interested

" Release a news of you and Jiyeon dating" He answers.

Hyomin turns to look at Jiyeon , her expression is unchanging , not like Hyomin , who is taken over by an overwhelming unexpected answer .

" Alright , I'll get going , thank you for the talk , please let me know when you are done with apology statement , I'll act along" Jiyeon gets up then bowing to her CEO

" Jiyeon" Hyomin grabs her hand

" I'll get the company car to drop me off first , you should get Soyeon unnie to take care of your ride too" Jiyeon gives Hyomin a light smile , " See you at home"

Hyomin ignored most of the the missed calls she gets , she only called back her mom to let her know she is fine and nothing to worry about , her mom asked her to come home but Hyomin chose to go back to the apartment to check on Jiyeon . All the ride back to apartment that Soyeon gives her company , Hyomin dwells herself in reading on articles both the true and distorted information’s , but all of them just does nothing good to Jiyeon, her roomie is affected greatly by social judgement and criticism.

Hyomin is greeted by a nice smell of ramyeon , she instinctively walks toward the kitchen to witness Jiyeon cooking

" You home?" Jiyeon greets

" Are you cooking ? Hyomin asks

" Yes, do you want some?" Jiyeon asks with smile on her face

" Haven't eaten anything since last night" Hyomin responses

" Okay " Jiyeon turns off a stove , Hyomin picks up couple of bowl from the shelf

" Thanks" Jiyeon says as she picks up bowl from Hyomin

" I'll drop my stuff , be right back" Hyomin informs

" I'll get them ready" Jiyeon puts divide ramyeon into two bowls , and places on the table , satisfied . Then a doorbell rings, Jiyeon removes the apron and walks to answer the door .

" Hello " Jiyeon greets in a very normal tone, hiding her surprise.

" Hi " Eunjung greets back " Can I see my cousin?"

" Sure , Hyomin is in her room, I'll get her for you" Jiyeon says

" Who is coming?" Hyomin who heard the doorbell too thought she would come to get the door , but before Jiyeon can answer , Hyomin sees her cousin on the door.

" Eunjung" Hyomin finds it hard to react , her mind is blank.

Thank you for all comments on previous chapters, I agree that EunMin are in a very unhealthy relationship that one could give up , we will see how much more longer they could take and go on with it, will this unbreakable bond change or will be more heartache ? Triangle can't be drawn into two lines of happy end. If you may wonder who is Qri , she appeared by voice on chapter one , and she played an important role to lead Eunjung to her mom on chapter five , well so much clue now .
